Description
Ra-(ORc)n-ORb (A)
[式(A)中、Ra及びRbは、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、それぞれ水素原子、炭素数1~5のアルキル基又は炭素数2~5のアシル基を示し、Rcは、炭素数2~4のアルキレン基を示し、nは6~80の整数を示す。]
[式(1)中、R1、R2及びR3は、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、それぞれ水素原子又は炭化水素基を示し、R4は二価の炭化水素基又はエーテル結合酸素含有炭化水素基を示し、R5は炭化水素基を示し、mは0以上の整数を示す。mが2以上である場合には、複数のR4は互いに同一でも異なっていてもよい。]
[式中、R11、R21及びR31は互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、それぞれ水素原子又は炭素数1~8の炭化水素基を示し、R41は炭素数1~10の二価の炭化水素基又は二価のエーテル結合酸素含有炭化水素基を示し、R51は炭素数1~20の炭化水素基を示し、mは一般式(1)中のmと同一の定義内容を示す。mが2以上の場合には、複数のR41は互いに同一でも異なっていてもよい。]
[式中、R12、R22及びR32は互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、それぞれ水素原子又は炭素数1~8の炭化水素基を示し、R42は炭素数1~10の二価の炭化水素基又は二価のエーテル結合酸素含有炭化水素基を示し、R52は炭素数1~20の炭化水素基を示し、mは一般式(1)中のmと同一の定義内容を示す。mが2以上の場合には、複数のR41は同一でも異なっていてもよい。]
まず、以下に示す基油1~5及び各添加剤を用いて油類組成物を調製し、得られた油類組成物について自然発火点を測定した。その後、アミン系化合物としてフェニル-α-ナフチルアミンを添加して冷凍機油を調製し、得られた冷凍機油について自然発火点を測定した。なお、自然発火点の測定は、ASTM E659-1978に準拠した方法により行った。油類組成物及び冷凍機油の組成、並びに自然発火点の測定結果を表1に示す。
以下、Meはメチル基、Buはブチル基、POはオキシプロピレン基をそれぞれ表す。

[数平均分子量Mn:1290、重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn):1.11、40℃動粘度:56mm2/s、引火点:220℃(COC)、流動点:-42.5℃、酸価:0.01mgKOH/g

[数平均分子量Mn:1440、重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn):1.16、40℃動粘度:68mm2/s、引火点:220℃(COC)、流動点:-40℃、酸価:0.01mgKOH/g

添加剤1:トリクレジルホスフェート(摩耗防止剤)
添加剤2:グリシジルネオデカノエート(酸捕捉剤)
以下に示す基油6~8及び各添加剤を用いて油類組成物を調製し、得られた油類組成物について自然発火点を測定した。その後、アミン系化合物としてフェニル-α-ナフチルアミンを添加して冷凍機油を調製し、得られた冷凍機油について自然発火点を測定した。油類組成物及び冷凍機油の組成、並びに自然発火点の測定結果を表2に示す。
基油6:
エチルビニルエーテルとイソブチルビニルエーテルとの共重合体[エチルビニルエーテル/イソブチルビニルエーテル=8/2(モル比)、数平均分子量(Mn):500、重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn):1.25、40℃動粘度:50mm2/s、粘度指数91]
エチルビニルエーテル重合体[数平均分子量(Mn):1300、重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn):1.20、40℃動粘度:68mm2/s、粘度指数:90]
エチルビニルエーテル重合体[数平均分子量(Mn):1300、重量平均分子量(Mw)と数平均分子量(Mn)との比(Mw/Mn):1.29、40℃動粘度:71mm2/s、粘度指数:89]
添加剤1:トリクレジルホスフェート(摩耗防止剤)
添加剤2:グリシジルネオデカノエート(酸捕捉剤)
Claims (4)
- エーテル系化合物を含有する基油、酸捕捉剤及び摩耗防止剤を含む油類組成物に、アミン系化合物を添加して冷凍機油を得る工程を備える、冷凍機油の耐発火性を向上させる方法であって、
前記エーテル系化合物がポリアルキレングリコール系化合物であり、且つ前記ポリアルキレングリコール系化合物の重量平均分子量Mwと数平均分子量Mnとの比Mw/Mnが1.08以上1.15以下である、方法。 - 前記冷凍機油が、前記アミン系化合物以外の酸化防止剤、極圧剤、油性剤、消泡剤、金属不活性化剤、粘度指数向上剤、流動点降下剤、清浄分散剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の添加剤を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記冷凍機油が微燃性冷媒と共に用いられる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- エーテル系化合物を含有する基油と、酸捕捉剤と、摩耗防止剤と、アミン系化合物と、を含む、耐発火性が向上された冷凍機油であって、
前記エーテル系化合物がポリアルキレングリコール系化合物であり、且つ前記ポリアルキレングリコール系化合物の重量平均分子量Mwと数平均分子量Mnとの比Mw/Mnが1.08以上1.15以下である、冷凍機油。
