Claims (14)
- 患者の静脈内に少なくとも部分的に挿入された末梢静脈(PIV)アクセスデバイスのハブに結合されるように構成されたアダプタであって、前記アダプタの遠位端部分が、前記アダプタが前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記ハブに結合されたときに前記PIVアクセスデバイスの管腔内に少なくとも部分的に延在するとともに前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔内に配置されたシールを通って延在することにより前記シールを開放するガイドを有する、アダプタと、
イントロデューサ及びカテーテルを有する流体移送デバイスであって、前記イントロデューサの遠位端部分が前記アダプタの近位端部分と結合するように構成されており、前記流体移送デバイスは、前記カテーテルが前記イントロデューサ内に配置され、前記カテーテルが前記PIVアクセスデバイスに対して近位となる第1構成と、前記カテーテルが前記イントロデューサから前記アダプタの管腔を通り、前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔の少なくとも一部分を通って延在する第2構成と、を有する、流体移送デバイスと、
を備える、システム。 - 前記流体移送デバイスが前記第2構成にあるとき、前記カテーテルの遠位端部分が前記患者の前記静脈内に配置され、前記PIVアクセスデバイスに対して遠位となる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記流体移送デバイスが前記第2構成にあるとき、前記カテーテルの少なくとも遠位端部分が前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔内に配置された前記シールに対して遠位となる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記流体移送デバイスが、前記カテーテルに結合されたアクチュエータを含み、
前記アクチュエータが、前記流体移送デバイスを前記第1構成と前記第2構成との間で移行させるように、前記イントロデューサの長さに沿って移動させられるように構成され、
前記アクチュエータが、前記イントロデューサの外側に配置された係合部材を有し、
前記係合部材が、前記係合部材の近位端部分に又はその近くに配置されたタブを含み、

前記突出部が、前記アダプタが前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記ハブに結合されたときに前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔内に延在して前記シールを開放するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記アダプタの前記突出部が、第1剛性を有し、
前記流体移送デバイスの前記カテーテルが、前記第1剛性未満の第2剛性を有し、
前記第1剛性が、前記アダプタの前記突出部を変形させることなく前記シールを開放するために十分な剛性である、請求項7に記載のシステム。 - 前記イントロデューサが、前記アダプタに結合されるとき、皮膚表面に対して所定の角度で配置される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記所定の角度が、0度~30度である、請求項9に記載のシステム。

- 前記アダプタが、アダプタ管腔を規定し、
前記アダプタの前記遠位端部分が前記ハブに結合されたときに、前記アダプタ管腔が前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔と流体連通する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記アダプタの前記ガイドが、第1剛性を有し、
前記流体移送デバイスの前記カテーテルが、前記第1剛性未満の第2剛性を有し、
前記第1剛性が、前記アダプタの前記ガイドを変形させることなく前記シールを開放するために十分な剛性である、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 末梢静脈(PIV)アクセスデバイスのハブにアダプタを結合することであって、前記アダプタの遠位端部分がガイドを含むことと、
前記結合に応じて、前記PIVアクセスデバイスの管腔内に配置されたシールを閉鎖状態から開放状態に移行させることであって、前記ガイドが前記シールを通って延在することにより前記シールを前記開放状態に移行させることと、
前記PIVアクセスデバイスと流体移送デバイスとの間に前記アダプタが配置されるように、前記流体移送デバイスのイントロデューサを前記アダプタに結合することと、
前記流体移送デバイスのカテーテルが前記イントロデューサ内に配置され、前記カテーテルが前記PIVアクセスデバイスに対して近位となる第1位置から、前記カテーテルが前記イントロデューサから前記アダプタの管腔を通り、前記PIVアクセスデバイスの前記管腔の少なくとも一部分を通って延在する第2位置へと、前記カテーテルを前進させることと、
