複数の検出コイル(106)、及び前記検出コイル(106)の群の少なくとも一対を有する検出マット(408)であって、前記検出コイル(106)の群の少なくとも一対は、前記検出コイル(106)の第1の群及び前記検出コイル(106)の第2の群を含み、前記検出コイル(106)の前記第1の群は第1のインピーダンス値を含み、前記検出コイル(106)の第2の群は第2のインピーダンス値を含む、検出マット(408)と、
前記検出マット(408)に動作可能に結合され、かつ前記検出コイル(106)の群の少なくとも一対を励磁するように構成された1つ又は複数の駆動サブシステム(410)と、
前記検出マット(102)に動作可能に結合され、かつ前記検出コイル(106)の群の少なくとも一対から差動電流信号を受信するように構成された比較サブシステム(414)であって、前記比較サブシステムは、前記差動電流信号に基づいて、制御信号を生成するように構成されている、比較サブシステム(414)と
を備える、異物を検出するための検出装置(406)と、
無線電力伝送(WPT)システムであって、
交流(AC)電圧信号の形式で電力を供給するように構成された一次電源と、
少なくとも1つの送信機コイルを含む送信機ユニットであって、前記送信機ユニットは、前記一次電源から前記AC電圧信号を受信するように構成されており、前記送信機ユニットは、前記受信したAC電圧信号に応答して、一次磁界を生成するように構成されており、また前記検出マット(102)は、前記送信機ユニットに動作可能に結合されている、送信機ユニットと、
少なくとも1つの受信機コイルを含み、かつ前記送信機ユニットが生成する前記一次磁界の少なくとも一部を受け取るように構成された受信機ユニットと、
制御ユニットであって、前記検出装置に動作可能に結合されており、かつ
前記検出装置から前記制御信号を受信し、かつ
前記制御信号に基づいて、前記送信機ユニットへの電力供給を制御するように構成された制御ユニットと
を含む無線電力伝送(WPT)システムと
を備える、異物を検出するための検出システム(400)。 - 前記駆動サブシステムは、前記検出装置を断続的に、又は周期的に励磁するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の異物を検出するための検出システム(400)。
- 前記検出装置(406)は、前記制御ユニットに前記制御信号を伝達するように構成された、通信ユニットをさらに含む、請求項15に記載の異物を検出するための検出システム(400)。
- 複数の検出コイル、及び前記検出コイルの群の少なくとも一対を有する検出マットを備える検出装置を利用すること(602)であって、前記検出コイルの群の少なくとも一対は、前記検出コイルの第1の群及び前記検出コイルの第2の群を含み、前記検出コイルの前記第1の群は第1のインピーダンス値を含み、前記検出コイルの第2の群は第2のインピーダンス値を含む、利用すること(602)と、
前記検出コイルの群の少なくとも一対を励磁すること(604)と、
前記検出コイルの群の少なくとも一対からの差動電流信号を測定すること(606)と、
前記差動電流信号に基づいて、制御信号を生成すること(608)と、
前記制御信号を送信すること(610)と

- 前記検出コイルの群の少なくとも一対を励磁すること(604)は、大きさと位相とが類似している同一の電流によって、前記検出コイルの群の一対における群が駆動されるように、インピーダンス値の異なる前記検出コイルの群の一対における前記検出コイルの群に対して、異なる電圧信号を供給することを含む、請求項18に記載の異物を検出するための方法(600)。
