Description

Claims (11)
- 自然心臓弁の弁輪に埋め込まれる幾何学的形態を有する生体心臓弁アセンブリを含むカテーテルを有する生体心臓弁アセンブリの最小限に侵襲的な埋め込み用アセンブリであって、
a.近端部と遠端部とを有するカテーテルであって、該遠端部が生体心臓弁を折り畳んだ形状で維持している、カテーテルと、
b.前記カテーテルの前記遠端部に設けられて、前記生体心臓弁を圧縮した形状で維持している、筐体と、
を備え、
前記生体心臓弁が、
i)入口開口端と、その反対端の出口開口部とを有する、ステントの圧縮可能かつ拡張可能な管状構造体であって、圧縮された形態で維持されている複数の相互接続された要素で構成され、前記複数の相互接続された要素が複数のウィングレットで構成される、管状構造体と、
ii)前記入口開口部と前記出口開口部との間の内側環状部を覆っている生体適合性材料と、
iii)並列する縁部に液密シールを形成することが可能な複数の弁葉で構成された弁であって、前記複数の弁葉の周囲が一緒に、前記入口開口部と前記出口開口部との間の前記弁アセンブリの内部の周囲に液密シールを形成するよう構成されている、弁と、
を備え、
前記管状構造体が、拡張された形態で前記入口開口部が前記出口開口部より小さい直径を有するように前記バルブを含む前記管状構造体がその長さに沿って直線的にかつ連続的にテーパしている直径を有する、前記アセンブリ全体の高さを低く維持する切頭円錐形を呈するよう構成され、且つ
前記ウィングレットが前記切頭円錐の周囲の全方向で、上部外周と下部外周の両方から前記ウイングレットの上下の先端部が互いに近接するように半径方向外側に延出してその間に環状の空間を形成し、該環状の空間内に前記生体心臓弁の弁輪を収容するよう構成されていることを特徴とするアセンブリ。 - 前記複数の弁葉が前記生体適合性材料に縫合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ウィングレットが第1端部および第2端部のそれぞれにおいて、前記ステントの管状構造体の長手方向に沿う軸から突出していることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ウィングレットが前記ステントの上外周面の周囲に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ステントが、端部にアイレットを有する複数の垂直棒材で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記圧縮された形態のステントを収容して該ステントに取り付けられる円筒状のホルダをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から5いずれか1項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記アイレットが前記ホルダの内部の取付具に係合するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記拡張可能なステントおよび前記生体心臓弁が、前記生体心臓弁アセンブリを維持する搬送デバイスと組み合わされるよう構成されているとともに、該搬送デバイスが搬送デバイスの内部に前記生体心臓弁を圧縮された形態で維持するよう構成されており、前記搬送デバイスが、前記管状構造体の長手方向の軸方向の長さの少なくとも一部を被覆して、前記管状構造体を保持するカプセル状デバイスを有し、
該カプセル状デバイスが、異なる直径を有し、且つ同心状に配置された複数のスリーブで構成されており、少なくとも1つのスリーブが、同心状であり、且つ別のスリーブの周囲で摺動して、前記管状構造体の展開を制御可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載のアセンブリ。 - 前記ウィングレットの第1のリングおよび前記ウィングレットの第2のリングであって、前記ステントが前記拡張された形態であるとき、円錐台の外周面に沿って該第1のリングと該第2のリングとの間に環状空間を形成するように離間され、且つ房室心臓弁の自然弁輪を収容するサイズである、前記ウィングレットの第1のリングおよび前記ウィングレットの第2のリングで前記ステントが構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から8いずれか1項に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のウィングレットの各々が、記憶金属で形成されている、丸みのある、且つ非外傷性の細長い部分を有することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記下部における前記ウィングレットの前記リングが前記ステントの下縁に近接して配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
