Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材の一例として、繊維強化樹脂複合材を用いたセンターピラーを例に採って説明する。図1及び図2は、センターピラーの全体構成を説明するために示す図である。図1は、車体側部構造1の外観を示す模式図である。図1に示す車体側部構造1は、車両の左側部の構造の一部を概略的に示している。図2は、センターピラー3を、車両の外側から車幅方向に見た図である。なお、図1及び図2に示すように、本明細書において、車幅方向をY方向、車両の前後方向(車長方向)をX方向、車高方向をZ方向と表記する場合がある。
センターピラー3のルーフピラー接続部16及びサイドシル接続部14は、いずれも軸方向がX方向に沿って配置された略筒状を有する。ピラー本体部12は、軸方向がZ方向に沿って配置された略筒状を有する。ルーフサイドレール接続部16及びサイドシル接続部14は、中空の筒状であってもよく、中実の筒状であってもよい。ピラー本体部12は、本実施形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材として構成された筒状部40と、筒状部40のX方向の両側に設けられたフランジ部21,31とを有する。フランジ部21,31は、例えば接着剤により筒状部40の側面に接合されている。フランジ部21,31は、例えば、フロントドア及びリアドアの戸当たりとしての機能を有している。少なくとも筒状部40は、強化繊維に熱可塑性樹脂又は熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた繊維強化樹脂を用いて構成された複合材料であり、高強度、かつ、軽量化を実現可能になっている。
次に、本実施形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材からなる筒状部40の製造方法の一例を説明する。

Claims (4)
- 車体構造に用いられる長手方向を有する繊維強化樹脂複合材において、
複数の繊維強化樹脂シートからなる第1の積層体と、複数の繊維強化樹脂シートからなる第2の積層体と、が前記長手方向に交差する方向に繋げられて閉断面を有する筒状体として構成され、
前記筒状体は、車体の衝突時に主として圧縮応力を受ける圧縮面と、前記車体の衝突時に主として引張応力を受ける引張面と、前記圧縮面と前記引張面とを繋ぐ側面と、前記圧縮面と前記側面とにより形成される前記長手方向に沿う第1の稜線部と、前記引張面と前記側面とにより形成される前記長手方向に沿う第2の稜線部と、を有し、
前記圧縮面は、前記長手方向に略沿う方向に沿って配置された繊維に樹脂を含侵させた一方向材、及び、それぞれ前記長手方向に対して傾斜して互いに交差する複数の方向に沿って配置された繊維に樹脂を含侵させたクロス材を少なくとも含み、前記クロス材よりも前記一方向材の構成比率が高い前記第1の積層体により構成され、
前記引張面は、前記一方向材及び前記クロス材を少なくとも含み、前記一方向材よりも前記クロス材の構成比率が高い前記第2の積層体により構成され、
前記第1の積層体に含まれる繊維強化樹脂シートの繊維が、前記第1の稜線部をまたぐように配置されており、
前記第1の積層体と前記第2の積層体との接続部は前記側面に設けられ、前記側面において前記第1の積層体及び前記第2の積層体のそれぞれの前記繊維強化樹脂シートの端部を交互にオーバーラップさせるとともに、前記第1の積層体又は前記第2の積層体の少なくとも一方の前記複数の繊維強化樹脂シートの端部をずらすことにより前記接続部の厚さを漸次変化させてなる、繊維強化樹脂複合材。 - 前記第1の積層体の前記複数の繊維強化樹脂シートの端部は、前記第2の稜線部に位置し、
前記第2の積層体の前記複数の繊維強化樹脂シートは、前記第1の積層体の複数の繊維強化樹脂シートの端部を覆うように前記第2の稜線部をまたいで前記接続部に至るように配置される、請求項1に記載の繊維強化樹脂複合材。 - 前記側面において、前記第2の積層体に含まれる繊維強化樹脂シートの端部は、表層に近いほど前記圧縮面に近づく、請求項1又は2に記載の繊維強化樹脂複合材。
- 車体構造に用いられる長手方向を有する繊維強化樹脂複合材の製造方法であって、
複数の繊維強化樹脂シートからなる第1の積層体と、複数の繊維強化樹脂シートからなる第2の積層体と、が前記長手方向に交差する方向に繋げられて閉断面を有する筒状体として構成され、前記筒状体は、車体の衝突時に主として圧縮応力を受ける圧縮面と、前記車体の衝突時に主として引張応力を受ける引張面と、前記圧縮面と前記引張面とを繋ぐ側面と、前記圧縮面と前記側面とにより形成される前記長手方向に沿う第1の稜線部と、前記引張面と前記側面とにより形成される前記長手方向に沿う第2の稜線部と、を有する繊維強化樹脂複合材の製造方法において、
前記長手方向に略沿う方向に沿って配置された繊維に樹脂を含侵させた一方向材、及び、それぞれ前記長手方向に対して傾斜して互いに交差する複数の方向に沿って配置された繊維に樹脂を含侵させたクロス材を少なくとも含み、前記クロス材よりも前記一方向材の構成比率が高い前記第1の積層体からなる前記圧縮面を構成する複数の繊維強化樹脂シートと、前記一方向材及び前記クロス材を少なくとも含み、前記一方向材よりも前記クロス材の構成比率が高い前記第2の積層体からなる前記引張面を構成する複数の繊維強化樹脂シートと、を前記側面において前記第1の積層体及び前記第2の積層体のそれぞれの前記繊維強化樹脂シートの端部を交互にオーバーラップさせるとともに、前記第1の積層体又は前記第2の積層体の少なくとも一方の前記複数の繊維強化樹脂シートの端部をずらすことにより前記第1の積層体と前記第2の積層体との接続部の厚さが漸次変化するように繊維強化樹脂シートを積層する工程と、
前記繊維強化樹脂シートを硬化させる工程と、
を備える、繊維強化樹脂複合材の製造方法。
