Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材の一例として、繊維強化樹脂複合材を用いたセンターピラーを例に採って説明する。図1及び図2は、センターピラーの全体構成を説明するために示す図である。図1は、車体側部構造1の外観を示す模式図である。図1に示す車体側部構造1は、車両の左側部の構造の一部を概略的に示している。図2は、センターピラー3を、車両の外側から車幅方向に見た図である。なお、図1及び図2に示すように、本明細書において、車幅方向をY方向、車両の前後方向(車長方向)をX方向、車高方向をZ方向と表記する場合がある。
センターピラー3のルーフピラー接続部16及びサイドシル接続部14は、いずれも軸方向がX方向に沿って配置された略筒状を有する。ピラー本体部12は、軸方向がZ方向に沿って配置された略筒状を有する。ルーフサイドレール接続部16及びサイドシル接続部14は、中空の筒状であってもよく、中実の筒状であってもよい。ピラー本体部12は、本実施形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材として構成された筒状部40と、筒状部40のX方向の両側に設けられたフランジ部21,31とを有する。フランジ部21,31は、例えば接着剤により筒状部40の側面に接合されている。フランジ部21,31は、例えば、フロントドア及びリアドアの戸当たりとしての機能を有している。少なくとも筒状部40は、強化繊維に熱可塑性樹脂又は熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた繊維強化樹脂を用いて構成された複合材料であり、高強度、かつ、軽量化を実現可能になっている。
次に、本実施形態に係る繊維強化樹脂複合材からなる筒状部40の製造方法の一例を説明する。
筒状部40の第1の製造方法は、芯材41に対して、Z方向に沿って配置された0°繊維を含む繊維強化樹脂シートを配置することと、Z方向に交差する方向に沿って全周面に渡って45°繊維を巻回することと、を所定の回数及び順序で実施する工程と、少なくとも線強化樹脂シートに含まれるマトリックス樹脂を硬化させる工程とを含む。第1の製造方法では、ブレーディング法やフィラメントワインディング法等により45°繊維が芯材41の周囲に配置される。
筒状部40の第2の製造方法は、芯材41に対して、Z方向に沿ってマトリックス樹脂を含侵した0°繊維を配置することと、Z方向に交差する方向に沿って全周面に渡ってマトリックス樹脂を含侵した45°繊維を巻回することと、を所定の回数及び順序で実施する工程と、マトリックス樹脂を硬化させる工程とを含む。
筒状部40の第3の製造方法は、芯材41に対して、Z方向に沿って0°繊維を配置することと、Z方向に交差する方向に沿って全周面に渡って45°繊維を巻回することと、を所定の回数及び順序で実施する工程と、0°繊維及び45°繊維に対してマトリックス樹脂を供給する工程と、マトリックス樹脂を硬化させる工程とを含む。

Claims (3)
- 車体構造に用いられる長手方向を有する筒状の繊維強化樹脂複合材において、
前記筒状の軸方向に沿って配置された第1の繊維と、
前記筒状の軸方向に交差する方向に沿って全周面に渡って巻回された第2の繊維と、を含み、
車体の衝突時に主として引張応力を受ける引張面における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数が、車体の衝突時に主として圧縮応力を受ける圧縮面における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数よりも多く、かつ、
前記筒状を形成するそれぞれの面のうちの少なくとも一つの面内において、前記車体の衝突時に受ける引張応力が相対的に大きい領域における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数が、前記車体の衝突時に受ける引張応力が相対的に小さい領域における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数よりも多い、繊維強化樹脂複合材。 - 前記繊維強化樹脂複合材の少なくとも最表面側に前記第2の繊維が巻回される、請求項1に記載の繊維強化樹脂複合材。
- 車体構造に用いられる筒状の繊維強化樹脂複合材の製造方法において、
芯材に対して、前記筒状の軸方向に沿って配置された第1の繊維を含む繊維強化樹脂シートを配置することと、前記筒状の軸方向に交差する方向に沿って全周面に渡って第2の繊維を巻回することと、を所定の回数及び順序で実施する工程と、
少なくとも前記繊維強化樹脂シートに含まれるマトリックス樹脂を硬化させる工程と、
を備え、
車体の衝突時に主として引張応力を受ける引張面における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数が、車体の衝突時に主として圧縮応力を受ける圧縮面における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数よりも多くなるように、かつ、
前記筒状を形成するそれぞれの面のうちの少なくとも一つの面内において、前記車体の衝突時に受ける引張応力が相対的に大きい領域における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数が、前記車体の衝突時に受ける引張応力が相対的に小さい領域における単位面積当たりの前記第1の繊維の数よりも多くなるように、前記第1の繊維を含む前記繊維強化樹脂シートを配置する、繊維強化樹脂複合材の製造方法。
