Description
<バラスト水処理装置の構成>
まず、本発明の実施形態1に係るバラスト水処理装置1の構成について、図1及び図2を参照して説明する。バラスト水処理装置1は、例えば貨物船やコンテナ船などの船舶内に設置されたバラストタンクの漲水(バラスティング)時にバラスト水W1を殺菌処理し、またバラストタンクからのバラスト水W1の排出(デバラスティング)時にバラスト水W1を中和処理するための装置であり、例えば船舶のエンジンルーム内に設置して使用される。
はじめに、バラスティング時の殺菌処理におけるバラスト水処理装置1の動作について、図3のフローチャートに従って説明する。
次に、殺菌液S11の排出時におけるバラスト水処理装置1の動作について説明する。殺菌液S11は、タンクなどの機器に悪影響を与え得るため、上記バラスティングの完了後に以下のプロセスにより全て船外へ排出する。
次に、本発明の実施形態2に係るバラスト水処理装置1Aについて、図4を参照して説明する。実施形態2に係るバラスト水処理装置1Aは、基本的に実施形態1に係るバラスト水処理装置1と同様の構成を備え且つ同様の効果を奏するものであるが、バイパス配管3ではなくバラスト配管2に薬液(殺菌液S11、中和液N11)を直接供給するように構成されている点で実施形態1に係るバラスト水処理装置1とは異なっている。以下、実施形態1に係るバラスト水処理装置1と異なる点についてのみ説明する。
最後に、本発明のその他実施形態について説明する。
Claims (8)
- バラスト水処理用の薬剤を保持する薬剤保持容器と、
前記薬剤保持容器から供給される前記薬剤と前記薬剤を溶解させるための水とを収容するタンク本体と、前記タンク本体内において前記薬剤と前記水とを混合する混合部と、を有する薬液調製タンクと、
前記薬液調製タンクにおいて前記薬剤を前記水に溶解させることにより得られた薬液を貯留する薬液貯留タンクと、
前記薬液貯留タンクに貯留された前記薬液をバラスト水に供給する薬液供給部と、
前記薬液貯留タンク内の前記薬液の量が予め定められた下限量以下であるか否かを検知する検知部と、
前記薬液貯留タンク内の前記薬液の量が前記下限量以下であることが前記検知部により検知された時に、前記薬液調製タンクから前記薬液貯留タンクへの前記薬液の供給及びその停止を切り替えるバルブを開状態に切り替える薬液補充動作を行う制御部と、を備えた、バラスト水処理装置。 - 前記水を貯留する貯水部をさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記貯水部から前記薬液調製タンクへの前記水の供給及びその停止を切り替えるバルブを開状態に切り替えると共に前記薬剤保持容器から前記薬液調製タンクへの前記薬剤の供給及びその停止を切り替えるバルブを開状態に切り替え、且つ前記混合部を動作させる薬液調製動作を行うように構成されている、請求項1に記載のバラスト水処理装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記薬液補充動作の開始後であって前記薬液補充動作の開始から予め定められた時間が経過した時に、又は、前記薬液補充動作の開始後であって前記薬液調製タンク内の前記薬液の量が予め定められた下限量以下になった時に、前記薬液調製動作を開始するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のバラスト水処理装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記薬液調製動作において、予め定められた一定量の前記水が前記貯水部から前記薬液調製タンクに供給されるように、前記貯水部から前記薬液調製タンクへの前記水の供給及びその停止を切り替える前記バルブの開時間を制御するように構成されている、請求項2又は3に記載のバラスト水処理装置。
- 前記貯水部に貯留された前記水を加熱する加熱部をさらに備えた、請求項2~4のいずれか1項に記載のバラスト水処理装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記薬液調製タンク及び前記薬液貯留タンクからの前記薬液の排出が完了したことを示す排出完了信号に基づいて、前記貯水部から前記薬液調製タンクへの前記水の供給及びその停止を切り替える前記バルブを開状態に切り替える洗浄動作を行うように構成されている、請求項2~5のいずれか1項に記載のバラスト水処理装置。
