Description
本出願は2020年5月8日付韓国特許出願第10-2020-0055157号および2021年1月21日付韓国特許出願第10-2021-0008511号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
リチウム遷移金属酸化物(LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2)を正極活物質として使用し、バインダとしてPVdFおよび導電材としてSuper-Pを使用し、正極活物質:バインダ:導電材を重量比で96:2:2になるようにNMPに添加した活物質スラリーを片面当たり4mAh/cm2でAl箔にコーティング、空気雰囲気下130℃の乾燥器で乾燥した後、圧延して正極を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ60μmのSi箔を予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ30μmのSn箔を予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ30μmのAl箔を予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ30μmのCu箔を予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ30μmのCuマトリックスにSiがドーパントとして10重量%含まれた箔を予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1で厚さ30μmのNi箔上に無電解めっき法によってSnを1μmの厚さでめっきしたものを予備負極として使用したことを除いては実施例1と同様にリチウムフリー電池を製造した。
前記実施例1~4、比較例1~3で使用される正極と負極のローディング量を下記のように測定した。
実施例1~4および比較例1~3で製造されたリチウムフリー電池を下記のような条件で充電した後、リチウムフリー電池を分解して負極に形成されたリチウムプレート層の厚さと電着密度を求めて下記表2に示した。
実施例1~4および比較例1~3のリチウムフリー電池を0.2Cで充放電して1回放電容量を測定し、下記のような条件で充放電をさらに実施した後、1回放電容量に対して100回の放電容量維持率を計算してその結果を下記表3に示した。
放電(Discharge): 0.5C, CC, 3.0 V, カットオフ(cut-off)
Claims (9)
- 正極、負極、分離膜、およびリチウム非水系電解質を含むリチウムフリー電池であって、
前記負極は、
Mg、Ca、Al、Si、Ge、Sn、Pb、As、Sb、Bi、Ag、Zn、Cd、PおよびHgからなる群より選ばれる1種以上の金属からなる金属基材;
前記金属基材上に形成されるリチウム-金属合金層;および
前記リチウム-金属合金層上に形成されるリチウムプレート層を含み、
前記リチウム-金属合金層に含まれた金属は、前記金属基材に含まれた金属であり、
前記金属基材は10μm~100μmの厚さを有する、リチウムフリー電池。 - 前記リチウム-金属合金層および前記リチウムプレート層は、前記リチウムフリー電池の充電によって形成される、請求項1に記載のリチウムフリー電池。
- 前記正極の単位面積当たりの容量(mAh/cm2)は前記負極の単位面積当たりの容量より大きい、請求項2に記載のリチウムフリー電池。
- 前記金属基材はSi、Ge、Sn、Sb、Mg、Bi、As、Pb、PおよびZnからなる群より選ばれる1種以上の金属を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムフリー電池。
- 前記金属基材は10μm~80μmの厚さを有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムフリー電池。
- 前記リチウム-金属合金層および前記リチウムプレート層はそれぞれ0.1μm以上の厚さを有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のリチウムフリー電池。
- 請求項1によるリチウムフリー電池を製造する方法であって、
(a)正極集電体の少なくとも一面に正極合剤層を形成して正極を製造する段階;
(b)Mg、Ca、Al、Si、Ge、Sn、Pb、As、Sb、Bi、Ag、Zn、Cd、PおよびHgからなる群より選ばれる1種以上の金属からなる金属基材で構成される予備負極を製造する段階;
(c)前記正極と予備負極の間に分離膜を配置して電極組立体を製造する段階;
(d)前記電極組立体とリチウム非水系電解質を電池ケースに内蔵し、密封した後に充電する段階;
を含み、
前記正極の単位面積当たりの容量は前記負極の単位面積当たりの容量より大きく製造する、リチウムフリー電池の製造方法。 - 前記金属基材はSi、Ge、Sn、Sb、Mg、Bi、As、Pb、PおよびZnからなる群より選ばれる1種以上の金属を含む、請求項7に記載のリチウムフリー電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属基材は10μm~100μmの厚さを有する、請求項7または8に記載のリチウムフリー電池の製造方法。
