Description
図2に示すように、角型電池100は、電池ケース10と、電池ケース10の内部に収容された電極体20と、を備えている。図示は省略するが、角型電池100は、ここでは電池ケース10の内部に収容された電解質をさらに備えている。なお、図面中の符号Wは長手方向を示し、符号Dは長手方向と直交する厚み方向を示している。ただし、これらの方向は説明の便宜上の方向に過ぎず、角型電池100の設置態様を何ら限定するものではない。以下、各構成要素について順に説明する。

Claims (4)
- 正極と負極とが絶縁された状態で積層されてなる電極体と、
前記電極体を収容する六面体形状の電池ケースと、
を備え、
前記電池ケースは、
金属板からなり、矩形状の底面と、前記底面と一体に設けられ、矩形状の前記底面の長辺を一辺として有し、且つ相互に対向する一対の長側面と、を有する略コ字状のケース本体と、
前記底面に対向する上蓋と、前記上蓋と一体に設けられ、一対の前記長側面の間に介在し、且つ相互に対向する一対の短側面と、を有する略コ字状の蓋体と、
から構成され、
前記電極体は、捲回電極体であり、捲回軸方向の両端面が前記蓋体の一対の前記短側面と対向するように、前記蓋体に取り付けられており、
前記ケース本体と前記蓋体とが接合されることで、前記電極体が前記電池ケースの内部に収容された状態が形成されている、
