Claims (14)
- 電極タブが突出した構造の複数の電極が積層されている電極組立体であって、
前記複数の電極は電極タブが互いに溶接で結合され、
前記複数の電極タブは前記電極タブを取り囲む構造を有する一つの電極リードと結合し、
前記電極リードは、
前記複数の電極タブの上面と結合する第1面、前記第1面と連結された状態で第1折曲部から折り曲げられて前記複数の電極タブの下面と結合する第2面、及び前記第2面と連結された状態で第2折曲部から折り曲げられて電池ケースの外側に引き出される第3面からなる電極リード本体を含み、
前記複数の電極タブと前記電極リードはクリンチング(clinching)によって結合される、電極組立体。 - 前記電極は陽極及び/又は陰極である、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電池ケースはパウチ型電池ケースであり、上部ケース及び下部ケースの少なくとも一方に電極組立体収納用凹部が形成されている、請求項1または2に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記複数の電極タブの結合部は前記電極組立体の積層方向を基準に前記電極組立体の中心部に形成されるか、又は前記電極組立体のいずれか一側に形成されている、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極リード本体の第2面及び第3面の外周を取り囲むようにプラスチック部材が付加されている、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記プラスチック部材の厚さは前記電極リード本体の厚さと同一である、請求項5に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1折曲部にはノッチが形成されている、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第2折曲部は、前記第2面と第3面が直角に連結されるように折り曲げられている、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第3面には絶縁フィルムがさらに付加されている、請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極リードと結合された前記複数の電極タブが前記電極組立体の積層方向に平行となるように折り曲げられている、請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体がパウチ型電池ケースに収納され、前記電極リード本体の第3面は前記電池ケースのシーリング部を貫通して電池ケースの外側に引き出されている、二次電池。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体の製造方法であって、
(a)陽極及び陰極の間に分離膜を介在した状態で積層された電極組立体を準備する段階と、
(b)前記電極組立体の複数の電極タブを予備結合させる段階と、
(c)前記複数の電極タブを取り囲むように電極リードを位置させる段階と、
(d)前記複数の電極タブと電極リードを結合するためにクリンチングする段階と、を含む、電極組立体製造方法。 - 前記段階(b)で、前記複数の電極タブは超音波溶接で結合する、請求項12に記載の電極組立体製造方法。
- 前記段階(d)の後、前記複数の電極タブを電極組立体の積層方向に平行となるように折り曲げる過程をさらに含む、請求項12又は13に記載の電極組立体製造方法。
