Claims (6)
- 矩形状の底面と、矩形状の前記底面の長辺を一辺として有し且つ相互に対向する一対の長側面と、前記底面の短辺を一辺として有し且つ相互に対向する一対の短側面と、を有する電池ケースと、前記電池ケースに収容され、前記長側面に対向する一対の幅広面を有する電極体と、を備える角型電池の製造方法であって、
前記電池ケースを構成する部材であって、前記底面と、前記底面から延びる一対の前記長側面と、を備え、金属板からなる端面略コ字状の第1の部材、および、
前記第1の部材の両端面にそれぞれ接合され、前記短側面を構成する第2および第3の部材、を用意する用意工程と、
前記電極体の前記幅広面を前記第1の部材の一対の前記長側面で挟む挟持工程と、
前記電極体を一対の前記長側面で挟んだ状態で、前記第1の部材の前記両端面に、前記第2および第3の部材をそれぞれ接合する接合工程と、
を包含し、
前記用意工程において、一対の前記長側面が前記底面から離れるほど相互の間隔が小さくなるように傾斜して設けられている前記第1の部材と、台形状の前記第2および第3の部材と、を用意する、角型電池の製造方法。 - 前記挟持工程において、前記第1の部材の一対の前記長側面は、前記電極体の前記幅広面を15N以上の挟持力で挟む、
請求項1に記載の角型電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極体は、少なくとも前記幅広面の一対の前記長側面で挟まれる部分が絶縁フィルムで覆われており、前記挟持工程において、前記電極体を前記絶縁フィルムとともに前記第1の部材の一対の前記長側面で挟む、
請求項1又は2に記載の角型電池の製造方法。 - 矩形状の底面と、矩形状の前記底面の長辺を一辺として有し且つ相互に対向する一対の長側面とを備え、金属板からなる端面略コ字状の第1の部材、および、前記第1の部材の両端面にそれぞれ接合されて前記底面の短辺を一辺として有し且つ相互に対向する一対の短側面、を有する電池ケースと、
前記電池ケースに収容され、前記長側面に対向する一対の幅広面を有する電極体と、
を備え、
前記電池ケースは、一対の前記長側面が、前記底面から離れるほど相互の間隔が小さくなるように傾斜して設けられ、かつ前記短側面が台形状であり、
前記電池ケースの一対の前記長側面は、前記電極体の前記幅広面を挟持している、
角型電池。 - 前記電池ケースの一対の前記長側面は、前記電極体の前記幅広面を15N以上の挟持力で挟持している、
請求項4に記載の角型電池。 - 前記底面と前記短側面との境界、および前記長側面と前記短側面との境界には、溶接接合部が形成されており、
前記底面と前記長側面との境界には溶接接合部が形成されていない、
請求項4又は5に記載の角型電池。
