Abstract
Description
以下、本発明を実施した第1の実施の形態における塗装機10について、図面に基づいて説明する。第1の実施の形態における塗装機10は、例えば、自動車製造工場における塗装ラインの側方向に配置され、塗装ラインに沿って搬送される車体Bを塗装するものである。
次に、第2の実施の形態について、図6を用いて説明する。第2の実施の形態では、塗装機に着脱自在に保持されるカートリッジに対して塗料を充填する塗料供給装置100を例に挙げて説明する。なお、図6においても、塗料供給装置100に設けられる流路を実線にて、電気・空圧の信号を点線にて示している。
本発明の塗料供給装置によれば、塗料の供給を行う供給路41や流路132を有するとともに、洗浄液及び洗浄用空気を供給路41や流路132に送り込むことにより、少なくとも供給路41や流路132の洗浄を行うことが可能な塗料供給装置30,100において、洗浄液を供給路41や流路132に供給するポンプ92,157と、ポンプ92,157により供給路41や流路132に供給される洗浄液中に、マイクロバブルとナノバブルとの少なくとも一方を含む微細気泡を発生させる気泡発生器93,158と、洗浄用空気を供給路41や流路132に供給するコンプレッサ94,155と、ポンプ92,157の駆動とコンプレッサ94,155の駆動とを制御する制御装置96,160と、を有し、制御装置96,160は、ポンプ92,157の駆動とコンプレッサ94,155とを交互に駆動させるように制御して、微細気泡を含んだ洗浄液と、洗浄用空気とを供給路41や流路132に交互に送り込むものである。

Claims (8)
- 塗料の供給を行う塗料供給路を有するとともに、洗浄液及び洗浄用空気を前記塗料供給路に送り込むことにより、少なくとも前記塗料供給路の洗浄を行うことが可能な塗料供給装置において、
前記洗浄液を前記塗料供給路に供給する洗浄液供給部と、
前記洗浄液供給部から前記塗料供給路に向けて延びる第1流路に設けられるとともに、前記洗浄液供給部から送り出されて前記第1流路を流れる前記洗浄液中に、マイクロバブルとナノバブルとの少なくとも一方を含む微細気泡を発生させる気泡発生器と、
前記洗浄用空気を前記塗料供給路に供給する空気供給部と、
前記第1流路が接続される第1弁部と、前記空気供給部により供給される前記洗浄用空気が流れる第2流路が接続される第2弁部と、を有し、前記第1弁部及び前記第2弁部の開閉動作を行うことで、前記塗料供給路に接続する流路を、前記第1流路及び前記第2流路の間で切り替える切替手段と、
前記洗浄液供給部、前記気泡発生器及び前記空気供給部の駆動を制御するとともに、前記切替手段における前記塗料供給路に接続する流路の切り替えを制御する洗浄制御部と、
を有し、
前記洗浄制御部は、前記切替手段における前記第1弁部を開動作させて前記第1流路と前記塗料供給路とを接続した後、前記洗浄液供給部及び前記気泡発生器を駆動して、前記微細気泡を含有する前記洗浄液を前記塗料供給路に供給する動作と、前記切替手段における前記第2弁部を開動作させて前記第2流路と前記塗料供給路とを接続した後、前記空気供給部を駆動して、前記洗浄用空気を前記塗料供給路に供給する動作と、を交互に行うことで、前記微細気泡を含んだ前記洗浄液と、前記洗浄用空気とを前記塗料供給路に交互に送り込む

前記塗料が貯留される貯留部と、
前記塗料供給路を介して、塗装対象物に塗装を行う塗装部に向けて供給される前記塗料のうち、前記塗装部にて使用していない前記塗料を前記貯留部に向けて戻す戻り流路と、
を有し、
前記塗料供給路及び前記戻り流路は、前記塗装部とともに、前記塗料を前記貯留部と前記塗装部との間で循環させる塗料循環経路を構成し、
前記洗浄制御部は、前記洗浄液及び前記洗浄用空気を、前記塗料の循環方向と同一方向、又は当該塗料の循環方向とは逆方向に送り込むように、前記洗浄液供給部の駆動と前記空気供給部の駆動とを制御することで、前記塗料循環経路を洗浄する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。 - 請求項2に記載の塗料供給装置において、
前記塗料循環経路には、複数の回路構成部品が配置されるとともに、前記複数の回路構成部品のうち、少なくとも隣り合う2つの回路構成部品の間の各々に、前記塗料循環経路を区分けするための区分け手段が配置され、
前記洗浄制御部は、前記少なくとも隣り合う2つの回路構成部品の間の各々に有する区分け手段のうち、いずれか2つの区分け手段の間の流路及び当該流路に配置される回路構成部品に、前記微細気泡を含んだ前記洗浄液及び前記洗浄用空気を送り込むように、前記いずれか2つの区分け手段を制御する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の塗料供給装置と、
複数のノズルを所定の配列パターンにて配列された吐出面を有するとともに、前記塗料供給装置により供給される塗料を前記複数のノズルの各々から吐出することで塗装対象物に塗装を行う塗装部と、

前記塗料供給制御部は、前記保持部が前記カートリッジを保持することを受けて、前記送出部を駆動させて、前記塗料タンクに貯留された前記塗料を前記カートリッジに充填する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。 - 請求項5に記載の塗料供給装置において、
前記洗浄制御部は、前記保持部が保持した前記カートリッジを洗浄するタイミングとなるとき、前記洗浄液供給部と前記空気供給部とを交互に駆動させるように制御して、前記微細気泡を含んだ前記洗浄液と前記洗浄用空気とを、前記塗料供給路及び前記カートリッジに送り込むことで、前記塗料供給路及び前記カートリッジの内部を洗浄する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。 - 請求項5または6に記載の塗料供給装置において、
前記切替手段は、前記第1流路及び前記第2流路の他に、複数種類の塗料の各々に対応して設けられた塗料タンクが複数接続され、
前記塗料供給制御部は、前記塗料を前記カートリッジに充填する際に、複数の前記塗料タンクのいずれかと前記塗料供給路とを接続するように前記切替手段を制御し、
前記洗浄制御部は、前記塗料供給路の洗浄時に、前記塗料供給路と前記洗浄液供給部との接続と、前記塗料供給路と前記空気供給部との接続とを順次切り替えるように前記切替手段を制御する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。 - 請求項5に記載の塗料供給装置において、
前記カートリッジは、塗装対象物に塗装を行う塗装機に対して着脱自在に取り付けられるとともに、
前記カートリッジは、前記塗装機に装着されたときに、内部に充填された前記塗料を前記塗装機が有する塗装部に向けて送り出す送出路を有する
ことを特徴とする塗料供給装置。
