Description
シーラントがパンク孔に流れ込む液体シーラントコーティングの使用に関する様々な方法、シーラント及びタイヤ構造が空気入りタイヤに提案されている。しかしながら、そのような液体シーラントは高温では過剰に流れてタイヤのバランスを損ねる原因にもなりかねない。また、液体シーラントは、夏季から冬季条件に及ぶ広い温度範囲にわたって完全に動作可能又は効果的というわけでもない。加硫ゴム材料中に液体シーラントを包含するより複雑なタイヤ構造は、製造コストが高くつくだけでなく、タイヤに要求される追加重量のためにバランス及びサスペンションの問題も引き起こしうる。

シーラント組成物を混合する工程、ここで該シーラント組成物は、該シーラント組成物の全重量を基準として、
10~50重量%のエラストマー、
0より多く30重量%以下のフィラー、
10~80重量%の希釈剤、
0.5~5重量%のキノイド硬化剤、
1~15重量%以下のオキシダント共硬化剤、
1~10重量%の、式1:
[式中、R1及びR2は、独立に、H又はC1~C4アルキルであるか、又はR1及びR2は一緒になって置換又は非置換フェニレン基を形成し、R3及びR4は、独立に、H、-OH -NH2、C1~C4アルキル、又は-OR5であり、ここでR5はC1~C4アルキルであるが、R1及びR2が一緒になって置換又は非置換フェニレン基を形成している場合、R5はC1~C3アルキルである]の硬化調節剤、ならびに

該シーラント層が硬化したシーラント組成物からなり、該シーラント組成物が
該シーラント組成物の全重量を基準として、
10~50重量%のエラストマー、
0より多く30重量%以下のフィラー、
10~80重量%の希釈剤、
0.5~5重量%のキノイド硬化剤、
1~15重量%以下のオキシダント共硬化剤、
1~10重量%の、式1:
[式中、R 1 及びR 2 は、独立に、H又はC1~C4アルキルであるか、又はR 1 及びR 2 は一緒になって置換又は非置換フェニレン基を形成し、R 3 及びR 4 は、独立に、H、-OH -NH 2 、C1~C4アルキル、又は-OR 5 であり、ここでR 5 はC1~C4アルキルであるが、R 1 及びR 2 が一緒になって置換又は非置換フェニレン基を形成している場合、R 5 はC1~C3アルキルである]の硬化調節剤、ならびに
1~10重量%の硬化遅延剤

該オキシダント共硬化剤が、ジアロイルペルオキシド、ジアシルペルオキシド及びペルオキシエステルからなる群から選ばれ、そして
該硬化遅延剤が、エチレングリコール、アルキル置換エチレングリコール、エチレンジアミン、及びアルキル置換エチレンジアミンからなる群から選ばれる
