Claims (14)
- 長手方向に延在する複数のパウチ型電池セルが積層されている電池セル積層体と、
前記電池セル積層体を収容する電池モジュールハウジングと、
前記電池モジュールハウジングの一部と結合された形態の放熱部材と、
を含み、
前記放熱部材は、前記電池セル積層体と対面する放熱板に貫通口が形成され、前記貫通口には密封部材が付加され、
前記密封部材は、前記パウチ型電池セルから放出される高温ガス又はスパークによって溶融される素材からなり、
前記密封部材の溶融によって前記貫通口が開放され、
前記貫通口を通して前記パウチ型電池セルに冷媒が注入され、
前記貫通口は、1個の貫通口が2個以上の前記パウチ型電池セルをカバーするように前記電池セルの前記長手方向に対して斜め方向または垂直な方向に延在するように形成される、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池モジュールハウジングは上部板と下部板とを含み、
前記放熱部材は放熱板及び冷媒流動部を含み、
前記上部板と前記放熱板との間に冷媒流動部が形成されるように前記上部板及び前記放熱板が結合される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記放熱部材は、前記下部板と放熱板との間に冷媒流動部が形成されるように前記下部板及び前記放熱板が結合される、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷媒は冷却水であり、前記冷却水には可燃性物質が含まれない、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記上部板及び前記下部板には冷媒の流れをガイドするための流路が形成されている、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールハウジングは上部板と下部板とを含み、
前記上部板の内側面に前記放熱部材としてウォータータンクが結合され、
前記ウォータータンクは、前記上部板の内側面と結合された第1面と対面する第2面には貫通口が形成され、前記貫通口には密封部材が付加されている、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池モジュールハウジングは上部板と下部板とを含み、
前記下部板の内側面に前記放熱部材としてウォータータンクが結合され、
前記ウォータータンクは、前記下部板の内側面と結合された第1面と対面する第2面には貫通口が形成され、前記貫通口には密封部材が付加されている、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記貫通口は、どのパウチ型電池セルが発火しても、発火したパウチ型電池セルに冷却水を供給することができる位置に形成され、
前記パウチ型電池セルの個数及び大きさによって前記貫通口の個数が決定される、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記密封部材は前記貫通口を満たしており、前記放熱板の内側面及び外側面で前記貫通口の周縁から前記貫通口の径方向外側にさらに延びた延長部を含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記放熱板の内側面及び放熱板の外側面のうち、前記延長部が形成された部分には溝が形成されている、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記溝が形成された前記放熱板の垂直断面は、多角形、半円形及び半楕円形からなる群から選択されるいずれか一つ以上の形態を有する、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
- 電池モジュールに含まれる放熱部材の製造方法であって、
前記電池モジュールは、
複数のパウチ型電池セルが積層されている電池セル積層体と、
前記電池セル積層体を収容する電池モジュールハウジングと、
前記電池モジュールハウジングの一部と結合された形態の放熱部材と、
を含み、
前記放熱部材は、前記電池セル積層体と対面する放熱板に貫通口が形成され、前記貫通口には密封部材が付加され、
前記密封部材は、前記パウチ型電池セルから放出される高温ガス又はスパークによって溶融される素材からなり、
前記密封部材の溶融によって前記貫通口が開放され、
前記貫通口を通して前記パウチ型電池セルに冷媒が注入され、
前記密封部材は前記貫通口を満たしており、前記放熱板の内側面及び外側面で前記貫通口の周縁から前記貫通口の径方向外側にさらに延びた延長部を含み、
(a)放熱部材の放熱板用平板をダイとホルダーとの間に配置する段階と、
(b)前記平板をパンチングして貫通口を形成して放熱板を製造する段階と、
(c)前記放熱板をインサート押出し成形のための型に装着する段階と、
(d)前記型に前記放熱板を固定し、密封部材用樹脂を注入する段階と、
(e)前記型を除去し、密封部材が付加された放熱板を収去する段階と、
を含み、
前記ダイとホルダーには前記放熱板の前記延長部が形成された部分に溝を形成するための突起が形成されている、放熱部材の製造方法。 - 前記放熱板は電池モジュールハウジングの上部板及び下部板と離隔空間を置いて結合され、前記離隔空間に冷媒が流入及び流出する冷媒流動部が形成される、請求項12に記載の放熱部材の製造方法。
- 前記放熱板は電池モジュールハウジングの上部板及び下部板と結合されるウォータータンクを構成し、前記上部板及び下部板と結合されるウォータータンクの一側面と対面する他側面に前記放熱板が配置される、請求項12に記載の放熱部材の製造方法。
