Description
上記構成によれば、燃料タンクに設けられるバルブ装置において、上記の作用を容易に実現する。
上記構成によれば、車両搭載用の燃料タンクに設けられるバルブ装置では、特に、車両の始動時やスロットル開度に応じて駆動機構により弁が開弁される頻度が多くなるが、この場合も、ボディのガスが流れる流路への耐圧疲労寿命の悪影響が抑制される。
図1、図3~図5に示すバルブ装置1は、高圧(例えば、87.5MPa)の水素ガスが貯留されたタンク2の取付口3にそのボディ4が取り付けられるものである。タンク2は車両搭載用である。バルブ装置1は、主弁36、パイロット弁43、ソレノイド47等を備えている。バルブ装置1のボディ4は、アルミ合金製であって、インレット及びアウトレット共用の配管5に対して継手6を介して接続されている。配管5は、水素ガスの供給元であるガスステーション7に接続される充填用配管8及び燃料電池9に水素ガスを供給する供給配管10に対して連結されている。
上記のように構成されたバルブ装置1の作用を図1、及び図3~図5を参照して説明する。
(1)本実施形態のバルブ装置1は、タンク2の内外を連通し、タンク2へのガスの充填時、及びタンク2からのガスの放出時に共通して使用されるガス流路を有するボディ4を備えている。前記ガス流路は、ガスの充填時に上流側となる第1流路28と、下流側となる第2流路29とを含むとともに、両流路が相互に交差する部位A、すなわち、弁室24を有している。そして、前記ガス流路には、ガスの充填時には開弁するとともに、ガスの充填終了時には、閉弁する逆止弁機構を備えるとともに、タンク2からのガス放出時には、前記逆止弁機構を開弁保持するソレノイド47(駆動機構)とを備えている。そして、逆止弁機構に含まれる弁座17が、弁室24(交差する部位A)よりも反第2流路側となる第1流路28に配置されている。
次に、図6及び図7を参照して第2実施形態のバルブ装置1について説明する。
本実施形態では、第1実施形態の構成中、異なる構成について説明し、同一構成については同一符号を付して、その詳細な説明を省略する。
上記のように構成されたバルブ装置1の作用を説明する。
図6はバルブ装置1の主弁36が閉弁した状態である。すなわち、コイルバネ51の付勢力によってプランジャ48を押圧することにより、主弁36を閉弁している。
上記構成の本実施形態のバルブ装置1においても、第1実施形態の(1)、(3)及び(4)と同様の作用効果を容易に実現できる。
・前記実施形態では、流体として水素ガスを記載したが、水素以外のガス(例えば、メタン、プロパン、LPG)や液体燃料、気液混合体等の流体であっても、もちろん良い。また、流体として天然ガスとした場合、CNG(Compressed Natural Gas)車用の燃料タンクに適用可能となる。

Claims (4)
- タンクの内外を連通し、前記タンクへのガスの充填時、及び前記タンクからのガスの放出時に共通して使用されるガス流路を有するボディを備えるバルブ装置であって、
前記ガス流路は、前記ガスの充填時に上流側となる第1流路と、下流側となる第2流路とを含むとともに、両流路が相互に交差する部位を有しており、
前記ガス流路には、
前記ガスの充填時には開弁するとともに、前記ガスの充填終了時には、閉弁する逆止弁機構と、前記タンクからのガス放出時には、前記逆止弁機構を開弁保持する駆動機構とを備え、
前記逆止弁機構に含まれる弁座が、前記交差する部位よりも反第2流路側となる前記第1流路に配置され、
前記逆止弁機構は、前記弁座を開閉する主弁であって、前記駆動機構によって前記開弁保持される主弁を含み、
前記駆動機構は前記第1流路外に配置され、前記交差する部位及び前記主弁は前記駆動機構と前記弁座との間に配置されたバルブ装置。 - 前記主弁は、パイロット室と、前記弁座の主弁孔と前記パイロット室とを連通するパイロット通路と、前記パイロット通路と前記パイロット室との間に設けられたパイロット弁座と、前記パイロット室において、往復移動自在に配置され、前記パイロット弁座を開閉するとともに前記パイロット弁座に当接させる付勢部材に付勢されたパイロット弁とを有し、
前記タンクからのガス放出時には、前記駆動機構は、前記パイロット弁を開弁させた後に前記主弁を開弁するものである請求項1に記載のバルブ装置。 - 前記タンクは、燃料タンクであり,前記ガスは燃料となるガスである請求項1または請求項2に記載のバルブ装置。
- 前記燃料タンクは、車両搭載用である請求項3に記載のバルブ装置。
