Description
本発明の一実施例に係るポリイミド樹脂フィルムは、ディスプレイ装置に設けられる透明フィルムであって、より具体的にはフレキシブルディスプレイのカバーウィンドウ(Cover Window)として使用される。
なお、厚さ方向位相差(Rth)は、次の式1により定義されるものであることができる。
なお、面内方向位相差(Rin)は、次の式2により定義されるものであることができる。
Rin=(nx-ny)*d
(式中、nx、ny及びdは前記式1での定義と同様である。)
A~Cは、互いに同一又は異なり、それぞれ独立に、炭素数4~炭素数20である環状脂環族有機基であり、
Xは、-O-、-S-、-C(=O)-、-CH(OH)-、-S(=O)2-、-(CH2)p-(ここで、1≦p≦10)、-(CF2)q-(ここで、1≦q≦10)、-C(CH3)2C-、-(CF3)2C-、及び-C(=O)NH-からなる群から選択され、
nは、0~2である。
次の表1に示すジアミンと酸二無水物とを含む組成を用いてポリアミック酸組成物を製造した。
前記表1に記載の組成を使用した以外は、前記実施例1~9と同様にして比較例1~5のポリイミドフィルムをそれぞれ製造した。
実施例1~9及び比較例1~5で製造されたポリイミド樹脂フィルムの物性を、後述のような方法で評価し、その結果を次の表2に示す。なお、下記表2中の各物性は、ポリイミドフィルムの厚さ40μmを基準にしている。
1)光透過度の測定
550nm波長において、UV-Vis NIRスペクトロフォトメーター(島津製、型番:uv-3150)を用いて測定した。
分光測色計(コニカミノルタ製、型番:CM-3700d)を用いて、500nmでの黄色度を、ASTM E131-73規格に準拠して測定した。
厚さ測定器(ミツトヨ製、型番:293-140)を用いて、フィルムの厚さを測定した。
TMA(TAインスツルメント製、Q400)を用いて、IPC-TM-650 2.4.24.5方法で測定した。
UTM(インストロン製、型番:5942)を用いて、ISO 527-3規格に準拠して引張強度(MPa)及び弾性率(GPa)を測定した。
屈折率測定装置(屈折率/複屈折分析器、メトリコン社製、2010/M)を用いて、面内方向平均屈折率を測定した。サンプルの大きさは、横縦がそれぞれ5cmである正方形状とし、当該試験片をホルダーに装着して測定した。
複屈折測定装置(Retarder、大塚製、RETs-100)を用いて測定した。サンプルの大きさは、横縦がそれぞれ5cmである正方形状とし、当該試験片をサンプルホルダーに装着し、モノクロメータを用いて、500nmに固定した。面内方向複屈折(Rin)は、入射角0°で測定した。
複屈折測定装置(Retarder、大塚製、RETs-100)を用いて測定した。サンプルの大きさは、横縦がそれぞれ5cmである正方形状とし、当該試験片をサンプルホルダーに装着し、モノクロメータを用いて550nmに固定した。厚さ方向複屈折(Rth)は、入射角45°で測定した。
Claims (4)
- 少なくとも1種のジアミン、及び少なくとも1種の酸二無水物を含んで共重合されたポリイミドフィルムであって、
前記ジアミン及び前記酸二無水物のうちの少なくとも1つは、脂環族化合物を含み、
前記ジアミンは、フッ素化芳香族第1のジアミン及び脂環族ジアミンからなる群から選択される1種以上であり、
前記酸二無水物は、脂環族酸二無水物及び芳香族酸二無水物を含み、
前記芳香族酸二無水物は、非フッ素化芳香族第2の酸二無水物、及びスルホン系芳香族第3の酸二無水物からなる群から選択される1種以上であり
前記酸二無水物中の前記芳香族酸二無水物と前記脂環族酸二無水物の割合(モル比)は、30~90:10~70であり、
フィルム厚さ40μmを基準に、波長550nmでの厚さ方向位相差(Rth)は、300~1,200nmであり、面内方向位相差(R in )は、50~200nmであり、面内方向平均屈折率(n)は、1.60以下であり、
厚さ30~100μmにおいて、波長550nmでの透過率が、85%以上であり、ASTM E313-73規格に準拠した黄色度が、5以下であり、
50~250℃で測定した平均線膨張係数(CTE)は、30~45ppm/℃であり、ヤング率(Young’s Modulus)が、3~8GPaである、ポリイミドフィルム。 - 前記ジアミン(a)と前記酸二無水物(b)とのモル数の比(a/b)は、0.7~1.3の範囲である、請求項1に記載のポリイミドフィルム。
- ディスプレイ装置のカバーウィンドウに使用される、請求項1に記載のポリイミドフィルム。
