Claims (11)
- コーティング(208)を物品(100)に適用するためのコーティングプロセスであって、
アルミニウムよりも高い溶融温度を有する金属アルミニウム合金を含むドナー材料と、
前記ドナー材料中のアルミニウムと反応してハロゲン化アルミニウムを形成するハロゲン化物活性化剤とを含むアルミナイジングスラリー(102)を前記物品(100)の第1の部分(104)に適用するステップと、
クロマイジングスラリー(106)を前記物品(100)の第2の部分(108)に適用するステップであって、前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)が、クロマイジング活性化剤粉末を含み、前記クロマイジング活性化剤粉末が、塩化アンモニウム、フッ化アンモニウム、臭化アンモニウム、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、前記ステップと、
前記物品(100)、前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)、および前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)を同時に熱処理するステップであって、前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)を熱処理することにより、アルミナイドコーティング(200)を前記物品(100)の前記第1の部分(104)に形成し、アルミナイド拡散ゾーン(202)を前記物品(100)と前記アルミナイドコーティング(200)との間に形成し、前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)を熱処理することにより、クロマイドコーティング(204)を前記物品(100)の前記第2の部分(108)に形成し、クロマイド拡散ゾーン(206)を前記物品(100)と前記クロマイドコーティング(204)との間に形成する、前記ステップとを含み、
前記第1の部分(104)と前記第2の部分(108)の両方は、前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)および前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)を適用している間、かつ前記熱処理中はマスキングされていない状態に維持される、コーティングプロセス。 - 前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)および前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)のいずれかを適用する前のプレコーティング洗浄を行うステップと、
前記熱処理の後のポストコーティング洗浄を行うステップと、

- 前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)が、ドナー粉末と、800°C以下の融点を有する無機塩と、活性化剤粉末と、バインダとを含み、前記ドナー粉末が、クロムを含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のコーティングプロセス。
- 前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)が、重量で、35%~65%のドナー粉末、1%~25%の活性化剤粉末、および25%~60%のバインダを含み、前記ドナー粉末が、アルミニウムよりも高い溶融温度を有する金属アルミニウム合金を含み、前記バインダが、少なくとも1つの有機ポリマーゲルを含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のコーティングプロセス。
- 前記物品(100)、前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)、および前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)を熱処理するステップが、954°C~1150°C(1,750°F~2,100°F)の範囲内の熱処理温度と、2時間~8時間の継続時間とを含む、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載のコーティングプロセス。
- 前記アルミナイジングスラリー(102)および前記クロマイジングスラリー(106)を適用するステップが、高速酸素燃料、真空プラズマ溶射、塗装、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される技術を含む、請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載のコーティングプロセス。
