Description
エポキシ化脂肪酸、特にエポキシ化脂肪酸グリセリドをベースとした有機加水分解安定剤の別の問題は、このような添加剤が、フィルムの製造および処理の間、毒性の強い可燃性で悪臭のある物質であるアクロレインの発生によって分解する傾向があることである。
本発明のさらなる目的は、有機加水分解安定剤を含まない、または有機加水分解安定剤なしで製造された、改善された耐加水分解性のポリエステルフィルム、すなわち、有機加水分解安定剤を含まない、もしくは有機加水分解安定剤なしで製造された他または従来の耐加水分解性ポリエステルフィルムと比べて耐加水分解性が向上し、特にフィルム破壊を増加させずにフィルムの製造の容易さおよび効率および経済性を維持または改善させながら、特にフィルムの機械的性質および/または光学特性に損害を与えずに、特にダイラインレベルおよびプロフィール欠陥が低減されるものを提供することである。
本発明者らは、意外にも、前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子が、ポリエステルフィルムに驚くほど良好な耐加水分解性を付与し、典型的にポリエステルフィルム中に使用されている従来の二酸化チタン粒子よりも優れていることを発見した。その上、前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子は、典型的にポリエステルフィルムに添加される従来の有機加水分解安定剤の不在下で、十分な耐加水分解性をポリエステルフィルムに与えることができる。
フィルムを構成するポリエステルは、典型的には、合成直鎖状ポリエステルである。好適なポリエステルは、1種または複数のジカルボン酸またはその低級アルキル(最大6個の炭素原子)ジエステルと1種または複数のジオールを縮合することによって得られる。ジカルボン酸成分は、少なくとも1種の芳香族ジカルボン酸を含有し、それらは好ましくは、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、フタル酸、1,4-、2,5-、2,6-または2,7-ナフタレンジカルボン酸であり、好ましくはテレフタル酸(TA)または2,6-ナフタレンジカルボン酸、好ましくはテレフタル酸である。ポリエステルは、4,4’-ジフェニルジカルボン酸、ヘキサヒドロテレフタル酸、1,10-デカンジカルボン酸、脂肪族ジカルボン酸、例えば、(コハク酸、グルタル酸、セバシン酸、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、スベリン酸またはピメリン酸、好ましくはセバシン酸、アジピン酸およびアゼライン酸、より好ましくはアゼライン酸など)一般式CnH2n(COOH)2(式中、nは2~8である)のものなどのその他のジカルボン酸に由来する1つまたは複数の残基も含み得る。ジオールは、好ましくは、脂肪族および脂環式グリコール、例えばエチレングリコール(EG)、1,3-プロパンジオール、1,4-ブタンジオールおよび1,4-シクロヘキサンジメタノール(CHDM)から選択され、好ましくはエチレングリコール(EG)から選択される。フィルム形成性ポリエステル樹脂は、フィルムの主要成分であり、所与の層の総質量の少なくとも50質量%、好ましくは少なくとも65質量%、典型的には少なくとも80質量%、より典型的には少なくとも85質量%、一実施形態では、典型的には、所与の層の総質量の少なくとも95質量%を構成する。
本発明のポリエステルフィルムの形成は、従来の技術によって達成され得る。押出成形は、一般的に、約250~約300℃の範囲内の温度で実施され、後続して押出物をクエンチし、クエンチした押出物を配向する。好ましくは、ポリエステルは、約270~約300℃、好ましくは約280~約300℃の温度で押し出される。
好ましい一実施形態において、ポリエステルフィルムは、第1のポリエステル層(A)および第2のポリエステル層(B)を含む多層フィルムである。第1の層(A)および第2の層(B)の各ポリエステルは、独立に、上記のポリエステルから選択される。好ましくは、前記第2の層(B)のポリエステルは、前記第1の層(A)のポリエステルと同じポリエステルである、または同じポリエステルを含む。本明細書に記載のPV電池中での好ましい使用において、第1のポリエステル層(A)は、好ましくは、PV電池中の最外層である層である。
この多層フィルムの実施形態において、好ましくは、前記第2の層(B)は、前記多層フィルムの製造に由来する再生廃フィルムを含む。
この多層フィルムの実施形態において、好ましくは、層(A)の厚さは、層(B)の厚さより薄く、好ましくは層(A)の厚さは、層(B)の厚さの約10%~約40%、好ましくは約20%~約30%である。
本明細書に記載のポリエステルフィルムは、全体のフィルムの厚さが、好ましくは、約12μm~約500μm、好ましくは約12~約350μm、好ましくは約12~約250μm、好ましくは約20~約100μmである。
有機コーティングは、好ましくは、前記二酸化チタン粒子上に均一にコーティングされる。有機コーティングは、好ましくは、前記二酸化チタン粒子上に離散的にコーティングされる。したがって、二酸化チタン粒子をコーティングする有機材料は、好適にはフィルム形成性有機材料である。
好ましくは、有機コーティングは、シランを含まない、またはシランに由来しない。
有機コーティングは、ポリシロキサンではなく、好ましくはポリシロキサンを含まない。
第1の好ましい実施形態(本明細書では実施形態Aと呼ぶ)において、有機コーティングは、有機リン化合物である。
好ましくは、二酸化チタン粒子は、アルキルリン酸またはアルキルリン酸エステルでコーティングされ、このアルキルリン酸は、6~22個の炭素原子を含有する。
アルキルリン酸またはそのエステルは、好ましくは、式P(R)(=O)(OR1)(OR2)[式中、Rは、6~22個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基またはシクロアルキル基であり、R1およびR2はそれぞれ、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、アリール基またはアラルキル基である]で表される。
好ましくは、Rは6~14個の炭素原子を含む。
好ましくは、Rは直鎖状アルキル基である。しかし、分枝鎖アルキルリン酸およびそのエステルも好適である。
エステルの場合、R1およびR2は、好ましくは、独立に、最大10個の炭素原子、より好ましくは最大8個の炭素原子を含む(すなわち、エステルは、最大10個、好ましくは最大8個の炭素原子を含むアルコールのエステルである)、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、アリール基またはアラルキル基から選択される。R1およびR2は、好ましくはヒドロカルビル基である。R1およびR2がアリールまたはアラルキルの場合、アリール基は、好ましくはフェニルである。
R1およびR2は、異なっていてもよいが、典型的には同一である。好ましくは、R1およびR2は、水素である。
特に好適なエステルとしては、エチルエステル、ブチルエステル、オクチルエステル、シクロヘキシルエステルおよびフェニルエステルが挙げられる。
特に好ましいリン化合物としては、n-オクチルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、n-デシルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、2-エチルヘキシルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、ならびにカンフィルホスホン酸およびそのエステルが挙げられる。
さらに好ましい実施形態(本明細書では実施形態Bと呼ぶ)において、有機コーティングは、ポリマー有機コーティングである。
ポリマー有機コーティングのポリマー骨格は、好ましくはケイ素原子を含まない。
ポリマー有機コーティングは、好ましくは、炭素、水素および酸素原子を含み、窒素および/またはリンおよび/または硫黄原子をさらに含んでもよいモノマーに由来する。したがって、ポリマー有機コーティングは、好ましくは、ケイ素原子を含まないモノマーに由来することを理解されたい。
ポリマー有機コーティングによってコーティングされた、被覆二酸化チタン粒子は、好ましくは、ポリマー多塩基酸またはその塩を含む分散剤の存在下で、前記二酸化チタン粒子の等電点より高いpH値(好ましくは7超のpH、好ましくは9~11のpH)で水中に二酸化チタン粒子を分散させて、変更された等電点を有する粒子を生成し;分散体のpHを9未満だが、粒子の変更された等電点より高い値に調整し;生成した分散体の存在下で1種または複数のエチレン性不飽和モノマーを重合して、したがって二酸化チタン粒子を重合したモノマーでコーティングすることによって得られる。好ましくは、粒子は、欧州特許第0572128号の開示内容に従って製造され、この開示内容は、本明細書に組み込まれ、特に被覆粒子の製造方法の開示内容が、本明細書に組み込まれる。
ポリマー多塩基酸は、好ましくは、ポリスルホン酸、ポリホスホン酸およびポリカルボン酸から選択され、好ましくはポリカルボン酸またはその塩から選択される。ポリマー多塩基酸が塩の形態のとき、酸は、部分的にまたは完全に中和されていてもよい。好適な塩は、アルカリ金属塩またはアンモニウム塩である。
好適なポリカルボン酸は、好ましくは、ポリマレイン酸、ポリアクリル酸、置換アクリル酸ポリマー、アクリルコポリマー(2-アクリルアミドおよび2-メチルプロパンスルホン酸を含む、アクリル酸とスルホン酸誘導体とのコポリマーを含む)から選択される。アクリル酸または置換アクリル酸と重合可能なその他のコモノマーは、カルボキシル基を含有し得る。
好ましくは、分散剤の量は、二酸化チタン粒子の、すなわち、分散剤および重合性コーティングモノマーで処理する前のコアの非被覆二酸化チタン粒子の約0.05~約5.0質量%、好ましくは約0.1~約1.0質量%である。
好ましくは、ポリマー有機コーティングは、1種または複数のエチレン性不飽和モノマーに由来するポリマーを含む。言い換えれば、ポリマー有機コーティングは、1種または複数のエチレン性不飽和モノマーの重合によって誘導されるポリマーを含む。
エチレン性不飽和モノマーは、好ましくは、水性溶媒中で重合可能であり、好ましくは、生成したポリマーは、水中で不溶性であり、架橋剤によって架橋されてもよい。
エチレン性不飽和モノマーは、好ましくは、重合性不飽和基を含む脂肪族および芳香族化合物から選択され、ここで、重合性不飽和基は、不飽和カルボン酸および不飽和カルボン酸エステルから選択される。
ポリマー有機コーティングは、好ましくは1種または複数の架橋剤の存在によって架橋されていてもよく、好ましくは、架橋剤は、二官能性および多官能性のエチレン性不飽和モノマーから選択され、好ましくはジメタクリル酸エチレングリコール、ジアクリル酸エチレングリコール、メタクリル酸アリル、アクリル酸アリル、ジアクリル酸1,3-ブタンジオール、ジビニルベンゼンおよびジメタクリル酸1,3-ブタンジオールから選択され、好ましくは前記架橋剤の量は、エチレン性不飽和モノマーの総質量に基づいて、約1質量%~約20質量%、好ましくは約1質量%~約10質量%である。
有機コーティングは、好ましくは、二酸化チタンの約0.1~約200質量%、好ましくは約0.1~約100質量%、約0.5~約100質量%、約2.0~約20質量%の量で存在する。好ましくは、二酸化チタン粒子対有機コーティングとの体積比は、体積により1:1から1:25、好ましくは1:2から1:8である。
二酸化チタンは、好ましくは、290℃で1.0%以下、好ましくは0.5%以下の損失を示すような含水量を有する。
有機コーティングされた二酸化チタンは、好ましくは、疎水性である。好ましくは、有機コーティングされた二酸化チタンのコーティングは親水性である。
二酸化チタン粒子は、好ましくは、無機コーティング、特にシリカおよび/またはアルミナコーティング、好ましくはアルミナコーティングも有し、有機コーティングは、無機コーティングを二酸化チタンコアの下に適用した後に適用される。
しかし、フィルムは、有機加水分解安定剤を含まないことが好ましい。
また、フィルムは、ベンゾフェノン、ベンゾトリアゾール、ベンゾオキサジノンまたはトリアジンなどの有機紫外線吸収剤を含まないことも好ましい。
フィルムの耐加水分解性は、フィルムの引張強度(脆性)を測定することによって、特に下記のようにフィルムの破断伸び(ETB)を測定することによって評価する。老化していないフィルムが典型的に示すETB値は、100%以上である。一般的に、フィルムは、ETBが10%未満まで低下するときまでの最終使用においてもなお有用である。本発明の好ましいフィルムは、ETBが、121℃および相対湿度100%で少なくとも80時間、好ましくは少なくとも84時間、好ましくは少なくとも90時間の促進老化後、少なくとも10%、好ましくは少なくとも20%、好ましくは少なくとも30%になるような、耐加水分解性を示す。
本発明のフィルムは、例えば高温の高湿度条件下および屋外用途において長期間、加水分解安定性が重要である任意の環境における使用にも適している。本明細書で使用する場合、用語「高温の高湿度条件下において長期間」は、フィルムが、使用中に、例えばPV電池として経験する、好ましくは本明細書に記載のプレッシャークッカー試験を用いた促進老化試験によって測定した場合の環境条件を指す(少なくとも80時間、好ましくは少なくとも84時間、好ましくは少なくとも90時間にわたる121℃および相対湿度100%)。
本発明のフィルムは、エレクトロルミネッセンス(EL)ディスプレー装置(特に有機発光ディスプレー(OLED)装置)、電気泳動ディスプレー(電子新聞)、半導体装置(有機電界効果トランジスタ、薄膜トランジスタおよび一般の集積回路など)などの電子機器または光電子デバイスの製造においてさらに使用され得る。
本発明のさらなる態様によれば、配向ポリエステルフィルムの耐加水分解性を高めるために、本明細書に記載の通り、有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子の使用であって、前記有機コーティングは、シランを含まない、またはシランに由来しない、使用が提供される。
(i)溶融ポリエステルの層を押し出す工程と、
(ii)押出物をクエンチする工程と、
(iii)クエンチした押出物を一方向または互いに垂直の二方向に延伸する工程と、
(iv)フィルムをヒートセットする工程と
を含む、配向ポリエステルフィルムの製造方法であって、
ポリエステルがフィルム内に形成される前に、本明細書に記載の有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子を、二酸化チタン粒子が前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされていないポリエステルフィルムと比較してポリエステルフィルムの耐加水分解性を高めるのに有効な量で、ポリエステル中に取り入れ、前記有機コーティングが、シランを含まない、またはシランに由来しないことを特徴とする、方法が提供される。
好ましくは、耐加水分解性の向上は、121℃および相対湿度100%で少なくとも80時間、好ましくは少なくとも84時間、好ましくは少なくとも90時間、促進老化させた後、配向ポリエステルフィルムのETBが、少なくとも10%、好ましくは少なくとも20%、好ましくは少なくとも30%になる程度である。
本発明のさらなる態様によれば、前面、電極層、光起電活性層、および背面を含む光起電力電池であって、前面および/または背面が、本明細書に規定の配向ポリエステルフィルムを含み、特に背面が、本明細書に規定の配向ポリエステルフィルムである、またはそれを含む、光起電力電池が提供される。前記光起電力電池において、電極層および光起電活性層は、適宜、カプセル材でコーティングされる。
以下の分析を用いて、本明細書に記載のフィルムを特徴づける:
(i)Macbeth濃度計TR927(Dent and Woods Ltd.(Basingstoke,UK)製)を伝送モードで使用して、伝送光学濃度(TOD)を測定する。
(ii)白色度は、Colorgard System 2000、Model/45(Pacific Scientific製)およびASTM D 313の原理を用いて測定する。

ηred=還元粘度(dL/g)であって、(ηrel-1)/cと等しい(ηsp/c(式中、ηspは比粘度である)としても表される)]。
(iv)耐加水分解性は、フィルムを121℃および相対湿度100%における処理に最長100時間の間供することによって評価することができる(「プレッシャークッカー試験(PHT)」)。固定された継続時間の間、前述の温度および湿度に設定したSMEG AVS 23Lプレッシャークッカー中に試料を入れる。分析前に、試料を24時間、部屋の温度および湿度で乾燥させる。次いでポリマーの老化に関連する特性を、種々の時間間隔で測定してもよい。特に、破断伸び(ETB)を下記のように測定する。
(v)破断伸びは、試験方法ASTM D882に従って測定する。直定規および目盛り付きサンプルカッター(10mm+/-0.5mm)を使用して、フィルムの5つの細片(長さ100mm)を縦方向に沿って切断する。ゴム製顎面を備えた空気圧式アクショングリップを用いたInstron model3111材料試験機を使用して、各試料を試験する。温度(23℃)および相対湿度(50%)は制御される。クロスヘッド速度(分離速度)は、25mm・min-1である。歪み率は50%である。これは、分離速度をグリップ間の初期距離(試料の長さ)で割ることによって計算する。装置は、各試料の破断伸びを記録する。破断伸び(εB(%))は、以下の通りに定義される。
εB(%)=(破断時の伸展/L0)×100
[式中、L0は、グリップ間の試料の元の長さである]。
(vi)ポリエステルフィルムの耐候性を、ISO4892-2に従って試験する。
(vii)フィルムの縦および横方向に対して特定の方向に切り、目測のために印を付けた、寸法が200mm×10mmのフィルム試料の熱収縮を評価する。試料のより長い寸法(すなわち、200mmの寸法)は、収縮を試験するフィルムの方向に対応する。すなわち、縦方向における収縮の評価では、試験試料の200mmの寸法が、フィルムの縦方向に沿って配向される。試験片を所定の温度の150℃に加熱し(その温度に加熱したオーブン中に入れることによって)、30分の間隔の間、保持した後、室温まで冷却し、その寸法を手動で再測定した。熱収縮を計算し、元の長さのパーセンテージで表した。
(viii)示差走査熱量(DSC)のスキャンをPerkin Elmer DSC7機器を使用して得る。5mgに秤量したポリエステルフィルム試料を、標準Perkin ElmerアルミニウムDSCるつぼ中に封入した。フィルムおよびるつぼを平らにプレスして、フィルムが部分的に拘束されるようにし、加熱中の配向の緩和の影響を最小限に抑えた。試験片を機器のサンプルホルダーに置き、毎分80℃で30~300℃に加熱し、関連するトレースを記録した。乾燥した不活性パージガス(窒素)を使用した。DSC機器の温度および熱流軸を、実験条件、すなわち加熱速度およびガス流量のために完全に較正した。ピーク温度、すなわち吸熱高温ピーク(A)および吸熱低温ピーク(B)の値を、各吸熱溶融プロセスの開始から各吸熱溶融プロセスの終わりまでを引いた基線の上の最大移動量として読み出した。ピーク温度の測定値は、Perkin Elmerソフトウェア中の標準分析法を用いて得た。測定値の精度および正確度は±2℃であった。
(ix)Karl Fischer滴定、好ましくは電量Karl Fischer滴定によって、二酸化チタンの含水量を測定する。典型的には、滴定セルの蒸留のオーブン中で試料を加熱し、放出された水を、乾燥キャリヤーガス流によって滴定セルへ移し、ここでKarl Fischer滴定によって決定される。好適には、Metrohm768 KFオーブンに接続したMetrohm768 KF電量計を使用して、電量Karl Fischer滴定を実施する。
本発明を、以下の実施例を参照することによってさらに説明する。実施例は、上記の本発明の範囲を限定することを意図しない。
アルミナ層および上記の有機コーティング(Tioxide(登録商標)TR28;平均粒径0.21μm)によってコーティングされた二酸化チタンをポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET;0.61のIV)中に取り入れることによってマスターバッチを作製した。マスターバッチのTiO2含有量は、組成物の総質量に基づいて40質量%であった。
結果として得られた白色のフィルムの最終的な厚さは50μmであり、層(A)は約10μmであり、層(B)は約40μmであった。
例2は、二酸化チタンが、例外として、本明細書に記載の有機コーティングを含まないアルミナ被覆ルチル形TiO2(Tayca Corporation製のTitanix(登録商標)JR301;平均粒径0.30μm)である以外は、例1に対応していた。
本明細書に記載の有機コーティングを含まない、さらなるグレードのアルミナ被覆TiO2を使用して例1を繰り返した。
次いで、本明細書に規定したように、促進老化の前後に破断伸びを測定することによって各フィルムの耐加水分解性を評価し、その結果を図1に示す(図中、x軸は時間(時間)であり、y軸はETB(%)である)。例1のフィルムは、二酸化チタンが本明細書に記載の有機コーティングによってコーティングされていない同様のフィルムと比較して、驚くほど優れた耐加水分解性を示した。
以下の通りに、種々のグレードの被覆TiO2を有する、およびTiO2を含まない、一連の50μm単層PETフィルムを作製した。
例4: TiO2なし(対照)
例5: Tioxide(登録商標)TR28(本発明)
例6: Ti-Pure(登録商標)R104(DuPont;シラン化アルミナ被覆ルチル形TiO2;比較例)
例7:Ti-Pure(登録商標)R960(DuPont;有機コーティングを含まないアルミナおよびシリカ被覆ルチル形TiO2;比較例)
PET中60%のTiO2で各TiO2グレードを含むマスターバッチを作製した。従来のフィルム製造ライン上で二軸押出機のホッパー(真空により湿気が除去される)中で、マスターバッチをPET系ポリマーと合わせて、最終フィルム中に約10.5質量%のTiO2をもたらすことによって、例5、6および7のフィルムを作製した。
次いで、本明細書に規定するように、促進老化の前後に破断伸びを測定することによってフィルムを試験し、その結果を図2に示す(図中、x軸は時間(時間)であり、y軸はETB(%)である)。例5のフィルムは、二酸化チタンが本明細書に規定の有機コーティングによってコーティングされていなかった例6および7のフィルムと比較して、驚くほど優れた耐加水分解性を示した。
Claims (19)
- 配向ポリエステルフィルムの耐加水分解性を向上させるための、有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子の使用であって、前記有機コーティングが、シランを含まない、またはシランに由来しない、及び前記有機コーティングが、有機リン化合物である、使用。
- 前記フィルムが、前記フィルムの総質量に対して、約1質量%~約40質量%、好ましくは約1質量%~約20質量%、好ましくは約10質量%~約20質量%の、前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた前記二酸化チタン粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 前記ポリエステルフィルムが、第2の層(B)をさらに含む多層フィルム中の層(A)であり、任意選択で前記第2の層(B)が、ポリエステルフィルム層である、請求項1または2に記載の使用。
- 前記ポリエステルフィルムの固有粘度が、少なくとも約0.60、好ましくは少なくとも約0.64である、および/または、前記第2の層(B)のポリエステルが、層(A)のポリエステルと同一のポリエステルである、またはそれを含む、請求項3に記載の使用。
- ポリエステル層(A)が、前記層の総質量に対して、約1質量%~約40質量%、好ましくは約1質量%~約20質量%、好ましくは約10質量%~約20質量%の、前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた前記二酸化チタン粒子を含む、請求項3または4に記載の使用。
- 前記第2の層(B)が、前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた前記二酸化チタン粒子を、好ましくは前記層の総質量に対して約1質量%~約10質量%、好ましくは約1質量%~約5質量%の量で含み、任意選択で層(A)中の前記有機コーティングによってコーティングされた前記二酸化チタン粒子の量が、層(B)中の有機コーティングによってコーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子の量より多い、請求項3から5までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記第2の層(B)が、前記多層フィルムの製造に由来する再生廃フィルムを含む、請求項3から6までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 層(A)の厚さが、層(B)の厚さより薄く、好ましくは前記層(A)の厚さが、前記層(B)の厚さの約10%~約40%、好ましくは約20%~約30%である、および/または、フィルムの全体の厚さが、約12μm~約500μm、好ましくは約20~約100μmである、請求項3から7までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 二軸配向ポリエステルフィルムである、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記ポリエステルが、ポリエチレンテレフタレートおよびポリエチレンナフタレートから選択され、好ましくはポリエチレンテレフタレートから選択される、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- (i)前記二酸化チタンが、ルチル形結晶の形態であり、
(ii)前記二酸化チタン粒子が、前記有機コーティングによって均一にかつ離散的にコーティングされており、かつ/または
(iii)前記二酸化チタン粒子が、アルキルホスホン酸またはアルキルホスホン酸エステルでコーティングされ、前記アルキルホスホン酸が、6~22個の炭素原子を含み、
任意選択で、前記アルキルホスホン酸またはそのエステルが、式P(R)(=O)(OR1)(OR2)[式中、Rが、6~22個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基またはシクロアルキル基であり、R1およびR2がそれぞれ、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、アリール基またはアラルキル基である]を有し、かつ/または、前記アルキルホスホン酸のアルキル基またはRが、6~14個の炭素原子を含み、直鎖状アルキル基であり、例えばR1およびR2が、独立に、水素および最大10個の炭素原子を含むヒドロカルビル基から選択され、好ましくはR1およびR2が水素であり、かつ/または、前記アルキルホスホン酸またはそのエステルが、n-オクチルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、n-デシルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、2-エチルヘキシルホスホン酸およびそのエステル、ならびにカンフィルホスホン酸およびそのエステルから選択される、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。 - コーティングされた二酸化チタンが、電量Karl Fischer滴定によって測定した場合、290℃で1.0%以下、好ましくは0.5%以下の損失を示すような含水量を有する、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 有機コーティングされた二酸化チタンが、疎水性ではない、好ましくは親水性であり、かつ/または、前記有機コーティングが、前記二酸化チタンの約0.1~約200質量%、好ましくは約0.1~約100質量%、約0.5~約100質量%、約2.0~約20質量%の量で存在する、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 二酸化チタン粒子対有機コーティングの体積比が、体積によって1:1から1:25、好ましくは1:2から1:8である、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記二酸化チタン粒子が、無機コーティング、特にシリカおよび/またはアルミナコーティング、特にアルミナコーティングを有し、前記有機コーティングが、前記無機コーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子上にコーティングされており、かつ/または、
有機コーティングによってコーティングされた前記コーティングされた二酸化チタン粒子が、約0.01μm~約5.0μm、好ましくは約0.10~0.40μmの粒径を有する、請求項1から14までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。 - 前記フィルムが、有機加水分解安定剤を含まず、かつ/または、前記フィルムが、有機UV吸収剤を含まない、請求項1から15までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記フィルムが白色である、請求項1から16までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- ポリエステルフィルムの耐加水分解性が、121℃および相対湿度100%で少なくとも80時間、促進老化後、破断伸びが少なくとも10%、好ましくは少なくとも20%、好ましくは少なくとも30%であるようなものである、請求項1から17までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記有機コーティングが、ポリシロキサンではなく、かつ、ポリシロキサンを含まない、請求項1から18までのいずれか1項に記載の使用。
