Claims (6)
- 回転可能なロッドと、
前記ロッドが挿通される開口部を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの内部において前記ロッドの軸に沿って隣合う高圧空間と低圧空間との間に配置され、前記ロッドの外周面と前記開口部の内周面との間の隙間を密封する密封装置とを備え、
前記密封装置は、
前記ハウジングに装着された環状部材と、
前記環状部材に固定された環状のシール部材とを含み、
前記シール部材は、前記ロッドに近い内周部を有し、
前記内周部は、前記低圧空間に向けて湾曲し、かつ、前記湾曲した状態の内周部のうち前記ロッドに対向する封止面は、前記ロッドの外周面に接触した状態にあり、
前記シール部材は、前記高圧空間の圧力が基準値を上回る場合に前記封止面が前記ロッドの外周面から離間するように、変形する、
密封構造。 - 前記環状部材は、前記ロッドの軸方向に延びる筒部を有し、
前記筒部は、前記シール部材よりも前記低圧空間に向かって張り出している、
請求項1の密封構造。 - 前記環状部材に対して前記シール部材を固定する取付部材を更に備え、
前記環状部材は、前記ロッドの外周面に向かって張り出すフランジを有し、
前記シール部材のうち前記ハウジングに近い外周部は、前記ロッドの軸方向において、前記フランジと前記取付部材との間に固定され、
前記フランジは、前記シール部材よりも高圧空間に近く、
前記取付部材は、前記シール部材よりも低圧空間に近く、
前記フランジの内周面は、前記取付部材の内周面よりも前記ロッドの外周面に近い、
請求項1または請求項2の密封構造。 - 前記密封装置は、前記シール部材に接触する環状の板バネを含み、
前記板バネは、前記シール部材に沿って湾曲した状態で前記内周部を前記ロッドの外周面に押圧し、
前記板バネの内周面は、前記シール部材の内周面よりも前記低圧空間に向けて張り出している
請求項1から請求項3の何れかの密封構造。 - 回転可能なロッドと、前記ロッドが挿通される開口部を有するハウジングと、前記ハウジングの内部において前記ロッドの軸方向に隣合う高圧空間と低圧空間との間に配置され、前記ロッドに近い内周部を有するシール部材と、を利用した密封方法であって、
前記高圧空間内の圧力が基準値を下回る場合に、前記シール部材のうち前記ロッドに近い内周部が前記低圧空間に向けて湾曲し、かつ、前記湾曲した状態の内周部のうち前記ロッドに対向する封止面が前記ロッドの外周面に接触した状態に、前記シール部材を維持することで、前記ロッドの外周面と前記開口部の内周面との間の隙間を密封し、
前記高圧空間内の圧力が前記基準値を上回る場合に、前記高圧空間内の圧力により前記内周部の前記封止面を押圧することで、前記封止面を前記ロッドの外周面から離間させる
密封方法。 - 前記ロッドの回転数が増加することで、前記高圧空間内の圧力が上昇する
