Claims (3)
- ガラス板の端面を加工具で加工するガラス板の端面加工装置であって、
前記加工具を支持する揺動可能なアーム部材と、前記加工具が前記ガラス板の端面を押圧するための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、前記アクチュエータの前記駆動力を前記アーム部材に伝達するリンク機構と、を備え、
前記リンク機構は、前記アクチュエータによって揺動可能な第一リンク部材と、前記アーム部材及び前記第一リンク部材のそれぞれに揺動可能に連結された第二リンク部材と、を備え、
前記加工具が前記ガラス板の前記端面と接触した状態で、前記第一リンク部材の長手方向の直交方向と前記第二リンク部材の長手方向とのなす角のうち小さい方の角が、前記アーム部材の長手方向の直交方向と前記第二リンク部材の長手方向とのなす角のうち小さい方の角よりも大きくなるように構成されていることを特徴とするガラス板の端面加工装置。 - 前記加工具は、研磨用の砥石であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス板の端面加工装置。
- 端面加工装置によりガラス板の端面を加工具で加工する端面加工工程を備えたガラス板の製造方法であって、
前記端面加工装置は、前記加工具を支持する揺動可能なアーム部材と、前記加工具が前記ガラス板の端面を押圧するための駆動力を発生するアクチュエータと、前記アクチュエータの前記駆動力を前記アーム部材に伝達するリンク機構と、を備え、
前記リンク機構は、前記アクチュエータによって揺動可能な第一リンク部材と、前記アーム部材及び前記第一リンク部材のそれぞれに揺動可能に連結された第二リンク部材と、を備え、
前記端面加工工程では、前記加工具が前記ガラス板の前記端面と接触した状態で、前記第一リンク部材の長手方向の直交方向と前記第二リンク部材の長手方向とのなす角のうち小さい方の角が、前記アーム部材の長手方向の直交方向と前記第二リンク部材の長手方向とのなす角のうち小さい方の角よりも大きくなることを特徴とするガラス板の製造方法。
