Description
以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。各図面に示される同一または同等の構成要素、部材、処理には、同一の符号を付すものとし、適宜重複した説明は省略する。
図4は、本発明の実施例を示す表である。実施例1は、第1発光部31としてLEDを6個直列接続し、第2発光部41としてLEDを3個直列接続したものを用いた。実施例2は、第1発光部31と第2発光部41ともに、LEDを6個直列接続したものを用いた。また、実施例1,2とも、第1定電流回路部63aからの出力電流は、ローモードでIl=700mAであり、ハイモードでIh=900mAに設定した。PWM信号のデューティ比は、実施例1,2のローモードとハイモードで、すべて90%に設定した。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。第1実施形態と重複する内容は説明を省略する。第1実施形態では、ハイモードとローモードでのPWM制御のデューティ比は等しくするとしたが、ローモードよりもハイモードでデューティ比を高く設定することで、ロービームユニット40が照射する光量をローモード時よりもハイモード時で大きくするとしてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 第1発光部を有しカットオフラインよりも下方に対してのみ光を照射するロービームユニットと、
第2発光部を有し前記カットオフラインよりも上方に対しても光を照射するハイビームユニットと、
前記ロービームユニットと前記ハイビームユニットの点灯を制御する点灯制御部とを備え、
前記点灯制御部は、前記ロービームユニットを点灯し前記ハイビームユニットを消灯するローモードと、前記ロービームユニットおよび前記ハイビームユニットを点灯するハイモードを切り替え制御し、
前記点灯制御部は、PWM制御の第1パルス電流によって前記第1発光部を点灯制御し、前記第1パルス電流のデューティ比は、前記ハイモードと前記ローモードとで等しく、
前記ハイモードにおいて前記ロービームユニットが照射する第1光量は、前記ローモードにおいて前記ロービームユニットが照射する第2光量よりも大きいことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記ハイモードにおいて前記第1発光部に供給される電流は、前記ローモードにおいて前記第1発光部に供給される電流よりも大きいことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具であって、
前記第1発光部と前記第2発光部が直列に接続され、
前記ハイモードにおいて前記第1発光部と前記第2発光部に流れる電流値が等しいことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 第1発光部を有しカットオフラインよりも下方に対してのみ光を照射するロービームユニットと、第2発光部を有し前記カットオフラインよりも上方に対しても光を照射するハイビームユニットとを備える車両用灯具の制御方法であって、
ローモードでは、前記ロービームユニットを点灯し前記ハイビームユニットを消灯し、
ハイモードでは、前記ロービームユニットおよび前記ハイビームユニットを点灯し、
PWM制御の第1パルス電流によって前記第1発光部を点灯制御し、前記第1パルス電流のデューティ比は、前記ハイモードと前記ローモードとで等しく、
前記ハイモードにおいて前記ロービームユニットが照射する第1光量は、前記ローモードにおいて前記ロービームユニットが照射する第2光量よりも大きいことを特徴とする車両用灯具の制御方法。
