Description

良好な(例えば改善された)機械的特性(例えば剛性(例えば曲げ弾性率及び引張弾性率)、熱たわみ温度、スパイラルフロー長さ、
削減量のポリマーの使用、
削減量の難燃剤の使用、
削減量の補強材の使用、
の1つ以上を提供し得る。
(a)予め決められた初期粒径を有するタルクを液体中に懸濁することと、
(b)その懸濁液を、粒子の薄片の分離を生じ、初期粒径未満の粒径が得られるように適合された層剥離作業に供することと、
(c)任意に上記懸濁液を選別に供して、予め決められた粒径より大きな粒径を有する粒子を排除することと、
(d)上記懸濁液を乾燥させることと、
(e)任意に粒子間での強力な結合の生成を抑えるために粒子を処理することと、
を含む方法により製造され得る。
(a)所望のd50laserより大きい(例えば約10μm~約50μm又は約10μm~約35μmの所望のd50laserより大きい)d50laserを有する初期粒径を有する比較的粗粒のタルク粒状物の液体懸濁液を層剥離することで、初期粒径未満の粒径を有するタルク粒状物を得ることと、
(b)上記懸濁液を少なくとも部分的に乾燥させることにより、所望のd50laser及び任意に所望のラメラリティーインデックス(lamellarity index)を有するタルク粒状物を得ることと、
を含む方法により製造される。
ISO178規格を使用して(64mmのスパン及び2mm/分の速度で)曲げ特性(曲げ弾性率及び曲げ強さ)、
ISO527(タイプ1A)規格を使用して(5mm/分の速度で)引張特性(引張弾性率及び引張強さ)、
ISO180規格を使用して23℃でノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃、
沿層方向及び100mmのスパンにおいてISO-75を使用して0.45MPaの荷重で熱たわみ温度(HDT)、
破断点伸び、
スパイラルフロー長さ、
について試験(「成形したままの乾燥状態」)した。
Claims (20)
- ポリマーとしてのポリアミドと、
膨張性難燃剤と、
補強材としてのガラス繊維と、
粒状鉱物としてのウォラストナイトと、
を含む難燃性ポリマー組成物であって、
前記ポリマーは、前記難燃性ポリマー組成物中に、該難燃性ポリマー組成物の全重量に対して40%から80%の量で存在し、
前記膨張性難燃剤は、前記難燃性ポリマー組成物中に、該難燃性ポリマー組成物の全重量の5%から40%の量で存在し、および
前記粒状鉱物は、前記難燃性ポリマー組成物中に、該難燃性ポリマー組成物の全重量の5%から25%の量で存在する
ことを特徴とする難燃性ポリマー組成物。 - 前記膨張性難燃剤は、粒状鉱物、有機ハロゲン化合物、及び/又は含リン化合物である、請求項1に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記膨張性難燃剤は、赤リン、ホスフェート、ポリホスフェート、有機ホスフェート、ホスホネート、ホスフィネート、ハロゲン化有機ホスフェート、ホスファゼン、ポリホスファゼン、トリアジン、又はそれらの1種以上の組み合わせである、請求項1または2に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記ガラス繊維は、3mmから8mmまでの範囲の繊維長さ、及び/又は6μmから20μmまでの範囲の繊維直径を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記補強材は、前記難燃性ポリマー組成物中に、該難燃性ポリマー組成物の全重量に対して少なくとも1%の量で存在する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記補強材は、前記難燃性ポリマー組成物中に、該難燃性ポリマー組成物の全重量に対して最大50%までの量で存在する、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記粒状鉱物は、5から150までの範囲のアスペクト比を有する、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記粒状鉱物は、0.5μmから200μmまでの範囲のd50(laser)を有する、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記粒状鉱物は、3μmから400μmまでの範囲のd95(laser)を有する、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 前記粒状鉱物は、0.5m2/gから30m2/gまでの範囲のBET表面積を有する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物からできた物品及び/又は該難燃性ポリマー組成物を含む物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、UL94に従って測定した場合のV-2以上の難燃性等級を有する、請求項11に記載の物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、前記粒状鉱物を含まないことを除いて同一であるか、又は前記粒状鉱物の代わりに追加量の補強材を含むことを除いて同一である比較組成物の難燃性等級以上である難燃性等級を有する、請求項11または12に記載の物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、2000MPaから16000MPaまでの範囲の曲げ弾性率を有する、請求項11~13のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、前記粒状鉱物を含まないことを除いて同一であるか、又は前記粒状鉱物の代わりに追加量の補強材を含むことを除いて同一である比較組成物の曲げ弾性率の20%の範囲内である曲げ弾性率を有する、請求項11~14のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、100mmから1000mmまでの範囲のスパイラルフロー長さを有する、請求項11~15のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記難燃性ポリマー組成物は、前記粒状鉱物を含まないことを除いて同一であるか、又は前記粒状鉱物の代わりに追加量の補強材を含むことを除いて同一である比較組成物のスパイラルフロー長さ以上であるスパイラルフロー長さを有する、請求項11~16のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記物品は、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物中で被覆された車両部品又は電線である、請求項11に記載の物品。
- 請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物を製造する方法であって、前記ポリマーと、前記膨張性難燃剤と、前記粒状鉱物とを混合することを含む、方法。
- 補強材を、前記ポリマーと、前記膨張性難燃剤と、前記粒状鉱物とに混合することを更に含む、請求項19に記載の難燃性ポリマー組成物を製造する方法。
