Description
Claims (13)
- 回転可能なヘッドと、ドライブシャフトと、前記ドライブシャフトから前記回転可能なヘッドに駆動力を伝達するように動作可能なカップリングと、を備え、
前記カップリングは、前記回転可能なヘッドの閾値トルクが超過された場合に、前記ドライブシャフトと前記回転可能なヘッドとの間で前記駆動力の伝達を自動的に解除するように構成され、
前記カップリングは、前記ドライブシャフトと作動可能に連携する少なくとも1つの駆動歯及び前記回転可能なヘッドと作動可能に連携して共働する従動歯を有するギアセットを有し、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動歯は、前記駆動力の伝達の解除を容易にするために弾性的に変形可能であり、
前記少なくとも1つの駆動歯は、少なくとも1つの弾性的に変形可能な指状物を有し、
前記少なくとも1つの弾性的に変形可能な指状物は、金属ワイヤを有する携帯型装置の駆動システム。 - 請求項1に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記回転可能なヘッドは、中心軸によって接合されて対向する半体を有し、
前記従動歯は、前記回転可能なヘッドの前記対向する半体の一方の半体に設けられている駆動システム。 - 請求項2に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記対向する半体の各半体は、端面を有し、
一対の前記端面は、前記対向する半体間で溝を画定するように互いに間隔を空けて対向し、
前記従動歯は、前記半体の一方の前記端面に設けられている駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記少なくとも1つの弾性的に変形可能な指状物は、少なくとも1つの対向する一対の弾性的に変形可能な指状物を有する駆動システム。 - 請求項4に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記対向する一対の弾性的に変形可能な指状物は、一対の自由端が互いに隣接して位置するように折り畳まれた単一の長さの材料から形成されている駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記金属ワイヤは、直径が1mm未満である駆動システム。 - 請求項4に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記少なくとも1つの対向する一対の弾性的に変形可能な指状物は、二対の対向する弾性的に変形可能な指状物を有する駆動システム。 - 請求項3に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記従動歯は、前記回転可能なヘッドの前記対向する半体の一方の前記端面から突出するペグを有する駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記ドライブシャフトは、前記回転可能なヘッドに隣接する中空端を有し、前記中空端から前記少なくとも1つの駆動歯が突出している駆動システム。 - 請求項9に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記ドライブシャフトは、直径が5mm未満である駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記回転可能なヘッドは、実質的に球状である駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムであって、
前記回転可能なヘッドは、前記回転可能なヘッドから外側に延びて配列されている剛毛を有する駆動システム。 - 請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の駆動システムを備える電動歯ブラシ。
