Description

本開示は、概して埋植式医療装置、より具体的には埋植式医療装置の直径を調節する機構及びそれに関連する方法に関する。
ステント、ステントグラフト、弁、及びその他の管腔内装置等の埋植式医療装置は、様々な身体通路又は体腔を通過する流体の流れを維持し、防止し、かつ/又は調節するために、様々な身体通路又は体腔を維持、開放又は調節するためを含めて、多様な医療処置に使用される。この種の装置は、脈管系、心臓系、尿路及び胆管等を含めて患者体内の様々な場所に埋植できる。
Claims (12)
- 埋植式医療装置のための直径調節機構であって、
第1直径設定点と第2直径設定点とを含む一連の直径設定点を画定する、トラック、
前記トラックに沿って、前記第1直径設定点から前記第2直径設定点まで、及び前記第2直径設定点から前記第1直径設定点まで選択的に移動可能であるように、前記トラックと係合する、ライダ、及び
前記ライダが前記第2直径設定点にあるときに、前記第1直径設定点へ向かって前記ライダを付勢する、付勢要素、
を備える、直径調節機構。 - 前記トラックは、ステップ状経路を画定し、前記第1直径設定点は、前記ステップ状経路の第1ステップ位置に在り、前記第2直径設定点は、前記ステップ状経路の第2ステップ位置に在る、請求項1に記載の調節機構。
- 前記トラックは、前記第1直径設定点と前記第2直径設定点との間に第1調節経路を画定し、かつ前記第2直径設定点と前記第1直径設定点との間に復帰経路を画定する、請求項1又は2に記載の調節機構。
- 前記トラックは、前記第1直径設定点と前記第2直径設定点との間に中間直径設定点を画定し、前記ライダは、前記ライダが前記第2直径設定点まで移動する前に、前記第1直径設定点から前記中間直径設定点まで、及び前記中間直径設定点から前記第2直径設定点まで、前記トラックに沿って選択的に移動可能であるように、前記トラックと係合する、
請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の調節機構。 - 前記付勢要素は、弾性特性を有するカラーである、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の調節機構。
- 前記トラックは、連続ループを画定する、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の調節機構。
- 前記トラックは、溝、チャンネル、ノッチ、刻み目及びレールの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の調節機構。
- 前記付勢要素は、前記付勢要素の付勢力を外部力が上回って前記ライダを前記第2直径設定点まで移動させるまで前記第1直径設定点に前記ライダを維持し、前記第2直径設定点において、前記付勢要素は、前記付勢要素の前記付勢力を外部力が上回るまで前記ライダを維持する、ように構成される、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の調節機構。
- 前記ライダは、突出部であり、前記トラックは、前記突出部を滑動可能に受け入れる凹部である、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の調節機構。
- 管状インプラントと、前記管状インプラントに結合された請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の調節機構と、を含んでおり、前記調節機構の前記付勢要素は、弾性材料で形成されたカラーを含み、前記カラーは、前記管状インプラントに結合される、医療装置。
- 前記付勢要素は、重なり合って前記カラーを形成する、請求項10に記載の医療装置。
- 前記付勢要素は、第1部分と第2部分とを含み、前記第1部分は、前記ライダを前記トラックと係合するように前記第2部分と重なる、請求項10又は11に記載の医療装置。
