Description
本出願は、2016年11月29日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/427,429号に優先権を請求し、前記文献の開示は、すべての目的のため、その全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、ポリマー複合体産業のための、炭素または他の繊維タイプテキスタイルの処理、修飾、及び増進に関する。
本発明の別の実施形態において、ナノファイバーをトウ/フィラメントの形でプロセシングすることも可能であり、これを次いで、主繊維層内でさらに縫い、他の種類の縫い目及び横糸を排除して、材料取り扱いを容易にし、かつより高いラミナ性能に寄与し得る。
Claims (13)
- 突起として形成されるナノ粒子強化材を含む、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーであって、
前記突起が、多層繊維強化複合体のポリマーナノファイバー及びポリマーマトリックス系の間のアンカーとして働くことが可能であり、
ナノ粒子がナノチューブまたはナノワイヤとして形成され、
高い完全性をもち、ナノファイバー直径及びナノファブリック厚の偏差が-1μmから+1μmの範囲内である不織ナノファブリックの形状であり、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーが、連続溶接ラインを通じて、互いに別個の間隔、1~25mmの範囲の幅で、1つの繊維ラミナの片側または両側上に、超音波溶接プロセスによって溶接されており、
前記ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーは、ポリアミド6、ポリビニリデンフロリド-コ-クロロトリフルオロエチレン(PVDF-CTFE)、ゼラチン(A)、キトサン、コラーゲン(ウシ)、酢酸セルロース(CAC)、ポリスチレン-コ-無水マレイン酸(PSMA)のいずれかのポリマー前駆体によって形成される、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー。 - ナノファイバーのフィラメントの形状である、請求項1に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー。

- 請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーを生成する連続プロセスであって、ロールツーロールプロセスによって、繊維層の上部及び/または下部表面上にナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーを溶接する工程を含む、連続プロセス。
- ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーが、互いに別個の間隔、1~25mmの範囲の幅、かつ炭素ファブリック製造ラインの製造速度に適合する速度で、連続溶接ラインを通じて、1つの繊維ラミナの片側または両側上に超音波溶接プロセスを通じて溶接されている、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー、
及び主繊維層の間を、一方向ラミナ平面内で多様な方向で溶接する工程を含む、請求項6に記載の連続プロセス。 - 各中間層領域内の異方性特性を生成する、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーと、主繊維層との間の、ラミナからラミナへ異なる方向である、連続溶接プロセスであって、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーが、主繊維層内に縫い込まれ、他の種類の縫い目及び横糸を排除し、前記ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーが主繊維層と溶接ポイントを形成する、連続溶接プロセスを通じて溶接され、前記溶接ポイントが、材料全体に負荷を有効に移動させることが可能なフラクタル構造の別の形を生成する、連続溶接プロセス。
- さらなる含浸を伴わずに、熱可塑性プリプレグとして使用される、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー。
- 熱分解プロセスを通じて炭化される、請求項1~5のいずれか1つに記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー。
- ポリマー繊維層の片面または両面上に接着される、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーであって、次いで、熱分解プロセスを通じて、1つのサンドイッチラミナとして炭化される、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー。
- 2つ以上の連続一方向繊維ラミナ、及び請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーを含む、多層ポリマー複合体であって、
前記ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバーが、繊維ラミナ内の中間層領域を強化可能である、多層ポリマー複合体。 - -請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載されている、ナノ粒子強化ポリマーナノファイバー、及び
-繊維層によって生成される、羽毛様フラクタル構造。
