Description
Claims (13)
- 第1ブレードが埋め込まれた第1材料を有する近端部と、
第2ブレードが埋め込まれた第2材料を有する遠端部であって、前記第2材料は前記第1材料より低いデュロメータ硬度であり、当該遠端部が前記近端部より可撓的となるように、前記第2ブレードが前記第1ブレードより大きいインチ当たりのブレードのカウント数を持ち、遠端部と、
前記近端部及び前記遠端部を少なくとも部分的に介して延在する主管路と、
前記近端部及び前記遠端部を少なくとも部分的に介して延在する複数の副管路と、
を含む可撓性長尺部材、及び
前記可撓性長尺部材の前記遠端部に結合される撮像要素、
を有し、
前記可撓性長尺部材が、前記第1材料のデュロメータ硬度と前記第2材料の前記低いデュロメータ硬度との間の鋭い移行部と、前記第1ブレードのインチ当たりのブレードのカウント数と前記第2ブレードの前記大きいインチ当たりのブレードのカウント数との間の滑らかな移行部とを有する、撮像カテーテル。 - 前記第1材料がデュロメータ硬度72Dのポリエーテルブロックアミドを有する、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記第2材料がデュロメータ硬度35D又は45Dのポリエーテルブロックアミドを有する、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記第1ブレード及び前記第2ブレードがフラットワイヤから構成される、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記フラットワイヤが鋼から形成される、請求項4に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記第1ブレードが第1インチ当たりのブレードのカウント数を持ち、前記第2ブレードが前記第1インチ当たりのブレードのカウント数の約2倍である第2インチ当たりのブレードのカウント数を持つ、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記可撓性長尺部材は前記近端部と前記遠端部との間の移行部にわたり前記第1材料及び前記第2材料内に埋め込まれた第3ブレードを含み、該第3ブレードが前記第1ブレードの第1インチ当たりのブレードのカウント数と前記第2ブレードの第2インチ当たりのブレードのカウント数との間で移行する可変のインチ当たりのブレードのカウント数を持つ、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記主管路が十字状断面を含む、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記複数の副管路が前記主管路に対して前記十字状断面の腕部と腕部との間に配置される、請求項8に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記撮像要素に結合されると共に前記主管路を介して延びる通信ケーブルを更に有する、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記可撓性長尺部材の前記遠端部に結合されると共に前記複数の副管路を介して延びる複数のステアリング線を更に有する、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記遠端部が約14ミリメートル(mm)の曲率半径まで偏向可能である、請求項1に記載の撮像カテーテル。
- 前記可変のインチ当たりのブレードのカウント数を持つ前記第3ブレードは、前記第1材料の前記デュロメータ硬度と前記第2材料の前記低いデュロメータ硬度との間の前記鋭い移行部を横切って延在する、請求項7に記載の撮像カテーテル。
