Claims (10)
- 液状の流体を吐出するためのノズルと、
前記ノズルに含まれる吐出エネルギー発生素子に駆動信号を与えて前記ノズルからの流体の吐出を制御する制御手段と、
前記ノズルから吐出された流体の吐出結果を取得する取得手段と、
前記駆動信号を定める波形情報と、前記吐出結果との関係を表す調整テーブルを記憶する記憶部と、
を備える吐出装置であって、
前記波形情報は、前記駆動信号の波形の形状を決定する電圧成分および時間成分を含み、
前記制御手段は、前記記憶部に記憶された前記調整テーブルと前記取得手段によって取得した前記吐出結果に基づいて、前記ノズルの吐出調整を行うことを特徴とする吐出装置。 - 前記吐出結果は、前記ノズルから吐出される前記流体の吐出量と吐出速度の少なくとも一方である請求項1に記載の吐出装置。
- 前記取得手段は、複数の異なる波形の前記駆動信号を前記吐出エネルギー発生素子に与えることによって前記ノズルから吐出される前記流体の複数の吐出結果を取得し、
前記調整テーブルは、前記取得手段によって取得した前記複数の吐出結果を用いて作成されている請求項1または2に記載の吐出装置。 - 前記調整テーブルは、初期段階において作成された第1のテーブルと、前記第1のテーブルを補正して作成した第2のテーブルとを含み、
前記第2のテーブルは、初期段階とは異なる条件のもとで前記ノズルから吐出された前記流体の吐出結果を用いて前記第1のテーブルを補正したテーブルである請求項3に記載の吐出装置。 - 前記時間成分は前記駆動信号を前記吐出エネルギー発生素子に適用するタイミングを含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の吐出装置。
- 前記吐出エネルギー発生素子は、圧電素子であり、
前記波形情報は、前記ノズルに充填されている前記流体を引き込むように前記圧電素子を駆動する電圧成分および時間成分を示す第1パラメータと、前記ノズルに存在する前記流体を前記ノズルの外方へと吐出するように前記圧電素子を駆動する電圧成分および時間成分を示す第2パラメータと、を含むことを請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の吐出装置。 - 前記吐出結果は、前記ノズルから所定の被吐出物に付与された前記流体の位置、形状、
膜厚の少なくとも1つを示す情報である請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の吐出装置。 - 複数の前記ノズルを有する吐出手段を備え、前記ノズル毎の前記調整テーブルを前記記憶部に記憶する請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の吐出装置。
- 請求項8に記載の吐出装置を備え、
前記吐出手段に設けられた複数の前記ノズルから所定の被吐出物に液状の流体を吐出し、前記被吐出物に吐出された前記流体にモールドを押し付けてパターンを形成する物品の製造装置。 - 前記調整テーブルは、製造装置の外部で計測された吐出結果に基づいて作成されている請求項9に記載の物品の製造装置。
