Description
本発明の他の態様によると、複数の前記第1の突出体は、前記底面において、前記筺体の長手方向と平行な線に関して略対称となるように配置されている。
本発明の他の態様によると、前記第1の突出体は、前記回路基板に前記筺体を固定する固定体である。
本発明の他の態様によると、前記筺体は、前記底面に、前記第1の突出体と同じ高さの第3の突出体を複数有する。
本発明の他の態様は、いずれかの前記光変調器と、前記光変調器に変調動作を行わせるための電気信号を出力するドライバ素子と、を備える、光送信装置である。
[第1実施形態]
まず、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る光変調器について説明する。図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る光変調器100の構成を示す平面図、図2は、光変調器100の側面図、図3は、光変調器100の底面図である。この光変調器100は、例えば、光変調器100に変調を行わせるための電気回路が構成された外部の回路基板(例えば、後述の図4に示す回路基板404)上に実装され、当該電気回路と電気的に接続されて使用される。
突出体150aにはネジ穴140aが形成され、突出体150bにはネジ穴150bが形成され、突出体150cにはネジ穴140cが形成され、突出体150dにはネジ穴140dが形成される。
尚、本実施形態では、信号入力部を雌型のソケットタイプの電極で説明しているが、雄型のものであっても良いし、筐体104より信号ピンが延伸するものであっても良い。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態に係る光変調器について説明する。図7、及び図8は、それぞれ、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る光変調器700の構成を示す平面図、及び側面図であり、第1の実施形態に係る光変調器100の構成を示す図1、及び図2にそれぞれ対応する。なお、図7、及び図8において、それぞれ図1、及び図2に示す光変調器100と同じ構成要素については、上述した図1、及び図2についての説明を援用するものとする。
次に、本発明の第3実施形態に係る光変調器について説明する。図9、図10、及び図11は、それぞれ、本発明の第3実施形態に係る光変調器900の構成を示す平面図、側面図、及び底面図であり、第1の実施形態に係る光変調器100の構成を示す図1、図2、及び図3にそれぞれ対応する。
次に、本発明の第4実施形態に係る光変調器について説明する。図12、図13、及び図14は、それぞれ、本発明の第4実施形態に係る光変調器1200の構成を示す平面図、側面図、及び底面図であり、第1の実施形態に係る光変調器100の構成を示す図1、図2、及び図3にそれぞれ対応する。
Claims (5)
- 回路基板上に構成された電気回路と電気的に接続される光変調器であって、
光変調素子を収容する筺体と、
前記光変調素子に変調動作を行わせるための電気信号を前記電気回路から入力する信号入力部と、を備え、
前記筺体は、前記回路基板に対向する底面に、前記底面から突出する第1の突出体を複数有し、
前記筺体は、前記底面から突出する第2の突出体を有し、
前記第1の突出体と前記第2の突出体とは、前記底面からの高さが等しく、
前記信号入力部は、前記第2の突出体の上面に設けられ、
前記第2の突出体の上面には、少なくとも一つのネジ穴が設けられる、
光変調器。 - 複数の前記第1の突出体は、前記底面において、前記筺体の長手方向と平行な線に関して略対称となるように配置されている、
請求項1に記載の光変調器。 - 前記第1の突出体は、前記回路基板に前記筺体を固定する固定体である、
請求項1又は2に記載の光変調器。 - 前記筺体は、前記底面に、前記第1の突出体と同じ高さの第3の突出体を複数有する、
請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の光変調器に記載の光変調器。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の光変調器と、
前記光変調器に変調動作を行わせるための電気信号を出力するドライバ素子と、を備える、
光送信装置。
