Description
[発明の範囲]
Claims (17)
- 水素ガスを供給する水素源と;
液体燃料を収容する液体燃料タンクと;
前記水素ガスを受け取るように前記水素源と流体接続すると共に、前記液体燃料を受け取るように前記液体燃料タンクと流体接続し、圧力下で前記液体燃料に前記水素ガスを溶解して水素添加燃料を生成するように構成される混合室と;
前記水素添加燃料を受け取るように前記混合室と流体接続し、機関内に前記水素添加燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置と;
を備え、
使われなかった戻り燃料は、戻り燃料冷却器及び戻り燃料逆止弁を介して、噴射燃料ポンプと戻り燃料入れとの間に直列に流体接続する、燃料システム。 - 水素ガスを供給する水素源と;
液体燃料を収容する液体燃料タンクと;
前記水素ガスを受け取るように前記水素源と流体接続すると共に、前記液体燃料を受け取るように前記液体燃料タンクと流体接続し、圧力下で前記液体燃料に前記水素ガスを溶解して水素添加燃料を生成するように構成される混合室と;
前記水素添加燃料を受け取るように前記混合室と流体接続し、機関内に前記水素添加燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置と;
を備え、
前記混合室が液体燃料で満杯の時に、前記水素ガスの流れが前記混合室に入ることを可能にするように構成される第1の近接制御部を更に有し、前記第1の近接制御部は前記水素源と前記混合室との間に位置する、燃料システム。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の燃料システムであって、
前記混合室は、逆止弁及び圧力調整器を介して水素添加燃料入れに流体接続し、
前記水素添加燃料入れは、噴射燃料ポンプを介して前記燃料噴射装置に流体接続する、
燃料システム。 - 前記水素ガスはコンプレッサーを通って前記混合室へ供給される、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 前記水素ガスは、前記水素源から、冷却器及び逆止弁を通って、前記前記コンプレッサーへと流れる、請求項4に記載の燃料システム。
- 前記水素源は、前記混合室に60〜120PSIGの圧力を供給する前記コンプレッサーを通じて前記混合室に流体接続する、請求項4又は5に記載の燃料システム。
- 前記水素ガスはジェットを通じて前記混合室に導入される、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 前記液体燃料タンク及び前記戻り燃料入れは、第3の近接制御部を通じて前記混合室に流体接続し、ここで前記第3の近接制御部は、前記液体燃料中に前記水素ガスが溶けることが続くのに十分な量の前記液体燃料が維持されるように、前記液体燃料及び前記戻り燃料の流れが前記混合室へ入ることを可能にするように構成されると共に、前記混合室からの逆流を防ぐように構成される、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 前記混合室の液体水素添加燃料は、逆止弁及び圧力調整器を通じて水素添加燃料入れに流体接続し、
前記水素添加燃料入れは、燃料噴射ポンプを通じて前記燃料噴射装置に流体接続する、
請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。 - 前記水素源と前記燃料ポンプとの間に、これらに直列に冷却器を備える、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 前記水素ガスは前記液体燃料に溶けて前記液体燃料中の炭素と結合する、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 前記混合室への流入及び該混合室からの流出は、全て逆止弁を通る、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の燃料システム。
- 水素添加燃料で内燃機関を運転する方法であって、
水素ガスを供給することと;
液体燃料を供給することと;
混合室で前記水素ガスと前記液体燃料とを圧力下で混合し、水素添加燃料を作ることと;
内燃機関の燃料噴射装置に前記水素添加燃料を燃料噴射ポンプで押し出すことと;
使われなかった水素添加燃料を前記混合室に戻すことと;
を含み、
前記水素ガスは、第1の冷却器、第1の逆止弁、コンプレッサー、第1の近接制御部を順に通って前記混合室に供給され、
前記液体燃料は、燃料ポンプ、第2の逆止弁、第2の近接制御部を順に通って前記混合室に供給され、
前記水素添加燃料は、圧力制御部、第3の近接制御部、第1の容器を順に通って前記燃料噴射装置に供給され、
前記使われなかった水素添加燃料は、第2の近接制御部、第2の冷却器、第4の逆止弁、第2の容器、前記第2の近接制御部を順に通って前記混合室に戻される、
方法。 - 前記混合室における圧力は、60から120PSIGである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記混合室における圧力は、80から110PSIGである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記混合室における圧力は90PSIGである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記水素ガスは前記液体燃料に溶けて前記液体燃料中の炭素と結合する、請求項13から16のいずれかに記載の方法。
