Description
本明細書において別段の指示がない限り、以下の分析方法は、本発明の記載態様において使用される:
密度
密度測定のための試料を、ASTM D1928に従って調製する。ポリマー試料は、190℃、30,000psi(207MPa)で3分間、次いで21℃、207MPaで1分間プレスされる。測定は、ASTM D792、方法Bを使用して、試料に1時間以内のプレスを行う。
メルトインデックスI2(またはI2)およびI10(またはI10)はそれぞれ、190℃、2.16kg、10kg荷重で、ASTM D−1238に準拠して測定される。それらの値は、g/10分で報告される。「メルトフローレート」は、ポリプロピレン系樹脂に使用され、ASTM D1238(230℃、2.16kg)に準拠して決定される。
本明細書で使用されるGPC技術(従来のGPC、光散乱GPC、およびgpcBR)については、トリプル検出器ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(3D−GPCまたはTDGPC)システムが使用される。このシステムは、Precision Detectors(現在はAgilent Technologies)の2角レーザー光散乱(LS)検出器モデル2040、IR5赤外線検出器、およびPolymerChar(Valencia,Spain)の4つの毛細管粘度計検出器を備えた、PolymerCharのGPC−IR高温クロマトグラフからなる。データ収集は、PolymerCharの「Instrument Control」ソフトウェアを用いて実行される。このシステムはまた、Agilent Technologies(CA,USA)のオンライン溶媒脱気装置も装備されている。
従来のGPCについては、IR5検出器(「測定センサ」)が使用され、GPCカラムセットは、21の狭い分子量分布のポリスチレン標準物質を実行することによって較正される。標準物質の分子量(MW)は、580g/mol〜8,400,000g/molの範囲であり、標準物質は6種の「カクテル」混合物に含まれている。各標準物質混合物は、個々の分子量の間に少なくとも1桁の分離を有する。標準物質混合物は、Polymer Laboratories(現Agilent Technologies)から購入される。ポリスチレン標準物質は、1,000,000g/mol以上の分子量について「50ミリリットルの溶媒中0.025グラム」、および1,000,000g/mol未満の分子量について「50ミリリットルの溶媒中0.05グラム」で調製される。ポリスチレン標準物質を80℃で穏やかに撹拌しながら30分間溶解する。狭い標準物質混合物を最初に、および最高分子量成分を減少させる順序で実行して、分解を最小限に抑える。ポリスチレン標準物質ピーク分子量は、式1を用いてポリエチレン分子量に変換される(Williams and Ward,J.Polym.Sci.,Polym.Letters、6、621(1968))において記載されるように)
MWPE=A×(MWPS)B (式1)
式中、MWは、印があるように、ポリエチレン(PE)またはポリスチレン(PS)の分子量であり、Bは1.0に等しい。A値が標準物質(SRM)1475aについて52,000のMWPEをもたらすように、Aが約0.38〜約0.44の範囲内にあり得ることが当業者には知られている。分子量分布(MWDまたはMw/Mn)、および関連する統計値などの分子量値を得るためのこのポリエチレン較正法の使用は、ここではWilliamsおよびWardの修正された方法として定義される。数平均分子量、重量平均分子量、およびz−平均分子量は、以下の式から計算される。
LS GPCについて、Precision Detector PDI2040検出器モデル2040、15°の角度が使用される。分子量データは、Zimm(Zimm,B.H.,J.Chem.Phys.,16,1099(1948))、およびKratochvil(Kratochvil,P.,Classical Light Scattering from Polymer Solutions,Elsevier,Oxford,NY(1987))によって公開された方法と一致した方法で得られる。分子量の決定に使用される全体的な注入濃度は、好適な直鎖状ポリエチレンホモポリマー、または既知の重量平均分子量のポリエチレン標準物質のうちの1つ、から誘導される、質量検出器(IR5)面積および質量検出器定数から得られる。計算された分子量は、以下に言及されるポリエチレン標準物質のうちの1つ以上から誘導される、光散乱定数、および0.104の屈折率濃度係数dn/dcを用いて得られる。一般に、質量検出器応答および光散乱定数は、約50,000g/moleを超える分子量を有する直鎖状標準物質から決定されるべきである。粘度計の較正は、製造業者によって記載された方法を用いるか、あるいは標準物質(SRM)1475a(National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)から入手可能)などの好適な直鎖状標準物質の公開された値を用いて達成することができる。クロマトグラフィー濃度は、第2のウイルス係数効果(分子量に対する濃度効果)に対処することを排除するのに十分に低いと推定される。
フィルムの酸素透過率(OTR)は、23℃、0%の相対湿度、および1気圧で、ASTM D−3985に準拠して、MOCON OXTRAN 2/21MLモジュールを用いて測定される。
フィルムの二酸化炭素透過率(CO2TR)は、23℃、0%の相対湿度、および1気圧で、ASTM F−2476に準拠して、MOCON PERMATRAN−C 4/41モジュールを用いて測定される。
フィルムのWVTRの範囲次第で、フィルムのWVTRは、ASTM F1249−06に準拠してMocon W3/33を用いて、またはASTM D6701−01に準拠してMOCON 101Kを用いて測定される。
Claims (9)
- 少なくとも3つの層を含む多層フィルムであって、各層が反対側にある外表面を有し、A/B/Cの順に配置され、
層Aが、トリプル検出器GPCによって測定される、少なくとも6.0のMw,cc/Mn,cc、少なくとも500,000グラム/molのMz,abs、および0.957〜0.970g/cm3の密度を有する高密度ポリエチレンを含み、前記高密度ポリエチレンが、層Aの少なくとも90重量パーセントを構成し、
層Bが、ガス透過層を含み、前記ガス透過層が、ポリエーテルブロックアミド、ポリ(エチレン−酢酸ビニル)、プロピレン系オレフィンブロックコポリマー、ポリオレフィンプラストマー、ポリオレフィンエラストマー、またはこれらの組み合わせを含み、層Bの上側外表面が、層Aの下側外表面と接着接触し、
層Cが、トリプル検出器GPCによって測定される、少なくとも6.0のMw,cc/Mn,cc、少なくとも500,000グラム/molのMz,abs、および0.957〜0.970g/cm3の密度を有する高密度ポリエチレンを含み、前記高密度ポリエチレンが、層Cの少なくとも90重量パーセントを構成し、層Cの上側外表面が、層Bの下側外表面と接着接触し、

前記フィルムが横方向に冷延伸され、前記冷延伸の後、前記フィルムが横方向に熱延伸される、方法。 - 層Aが、前記フィルムの総重量を基準として、前記多層フィルムの少なくとも10重量%を構成し、層Cが、前記フィルムの総重量を基準として、前記多層フィルムの少なくとも10重量%を構成する、請求項1または2に記載の多層フィルム。
- 層Dおよび層Eをさらに含み、層Dの上側外表面が、層Cの下側外表面と接着接触しており、層Eの上側外表面が、層Dの下側外表面と接着接触しており、層Dが、ガス透過層を含み、層Eが、層Aと同じ組成を有する、請求項1、2、および7のいずれか一項に記載の多層フィルム。
