請求項5に記載の発明は、請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の炭化装置であって、前記少なくとも1つの送り羽根の前記傾斜角が、45度よりも大きく、90度未満であり、前記投入口近傍に配置される攪拌羽根の傾斜角が、20度以上かつ45度以下である。

Claims (5)
- 被処理物から炭化物を生成する炭化装置であって、
中心軸を中心とする筒状であり、前記中心軸に平行な軸方向における一方側の端部に被処理物が投入される投入口が設けられ、他方側の端部に処理済みの被処理物が排出される排出口が設けられ、前記中心軸を中心として回転する炉本体と、
前記炉本体内の被処理物を加熱する加熱部と、
前記炉本体の内側面において、前記軸方向に関して前記排出口から離れた攪拌領域に設けられ、複数の攪拌羽根により前記炉本体の回転に伴って被処理物を攪拌する攪拌部と、
前記内側面において、前記軸方向に関して前記攪拌領域と前記排出口との間の排出送り領域に設けられ、前記内側面と接する部位における前記軸方向に対する傾斜角が前記複数の攪拌羽根よりも大きい少なくとも1つの送り羽根により、前記炉本体の回転に伴って被処理物を前記排出口へと送る排出送り部と、
を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの送り羽根が、前記中心軸を中心とする周方向の全周に亘って連続的または断続的に螺旋状に設けられ、
前記排出送り部が、前記軸方向に互いに隣接する前記少なくとも1つの送り羽根の部位間に設けられ、被処理物が前記内側面に接した状態を保ちつつ、前記部位間に存在する被処理物を攪拌するピン状の補助攪拌部を備えることを特徴とする炭化装置。 - 請求項1に記載の炭化装置であって、
前記複数の攪拌羽根において、前記内側面と接する部位における前記軸方向に対する傾斜角、および、前記軸方向における被処理物の送り速度が、前記軸方向の位置が前記投入口から離れるに従って漸次小さくなることを特徴とする炭化装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の炭化装置であって、
前記加熱部が、
前記炉本体内の被処理物から発生する熱分解ガスを燃焼させる燃焼炉と、
前記炉本体の周囲を囲む筒状であり、前記炉本体の外側面との間に筒状空間を形成する外熱炉と、
を備え、
前記外熱炉が、
前記軸方向に関して前記排出口側に設けられ、前記燃焼炉から排出される燃焼ガスを前記筒状空間に流入させる流入口と、
前記投入口側に設けられ、前記筒状空間内の燃焼ガスを外部に流出させる流出口と、
を備えることを特徴とする炭化装置。 - 請求項3に記載の炭化装置であって、
前記炉本体の外側面において螺旋状に設けられる外面案内羽根を有し、前記筒状空間に流入する燃焼ガスの旋回流を形成するとともに、前記炉本体の回転に伴って前記筒状空間内に堆積するダストを前記軸方向に送る外面案内部をさらに備えることを特徴とする炭化装置。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載の炭化装置であって、
前記少なくとも1つの送り羽根の前記傾斜角が、45度よりも大きく、90度未満であり、
前記投入口近傍に配置される攪拌羽根の傾斜角が、20度以上かつ45度以下であることを特徴とする炭化装置。
