Description
チェーン及びベルトテンショナでは、ピストンは、スプリングまたはスプリングと油圧(hydraulic pressure)によってそのハウジングから圧迫される。ハウジングとピストンとの間のボア内に形成された流体チャンバと加圧流体源との間のテンショナにチェックバルブが追加されて、流体チャンバからの油圧流体の逆流を防止する。ピストンとボアとの間の隙間を通る漏洩率は、補充流体が沈下または停止するにつれて、ピストンの後退を可能にする。漏洩率が増加するにつれて、ピストンの後退に対する抵抗が減少し、漏洩率が減少するにつれて、ピストンの後退に対する抵抗が増加する。チェーン荷重が急増するかまたは流体圧力の損失が存在するときに、プランジャの後退が起こり、プランジャの後退が過度な場合、チェーン制御の損失、エンジン時間の損失または他の望ましくない影響が生じる。したがって、ピストンの後退量を制限することが望ましい。
Claims (8)
- 長さ方向に延びるボアを有するテンショナハウジングであって、前記ボアの内周面に、当該ボアの軸と直交するように、設けられたスロットを有する、テンショナハウジングと、
前記ボア内に摺動可能に収容される中空ピストンであって、中空を形成する内周と外周とを有し、前記外周は、当該外周の周りに設けられた面取り部と、前記外周の周りで、前記面取り部に隣接するように形成された縁部と、を含む、中空ピストンと、
前記ピストンの前記外周に取り付けられるための変形可能なサークリップであって、
前記サークリップは、
第1の脚部と、
第2の脚部と、
前記第1の脚部に接続された第1のローブと、
前記第2の脚部に接続された第2のローブと、
を備え、前記第1のローブと第2のローブとを接続部を介してして接続した、実質的にクローバー形状の本体を含み、
前記第1ローブと前記第2のローブの夫々は、前記ピストンの中心線に向かって延びるとともに、前記接続部は当該中心線から外側に延び、
前記第1のローブと前記第2のローブの夫々は、
前記中心線に向かって内側に延びている自由状態において、前記面取り部、及び/又は、前記縁部と係合し、
前記面取り部から分離され、前記自由状態での形状から、前記第1の脚部及び前記第2の脚部を互いに離れさせ、かつ、前記接続部の形状になるように、前記ピストンの中心線から外側に変形する変形状態を有する、
前記サークリップと、
を備える油圧テンショナであって、
前記サークリップが前記自由状態にあるとき、前記ピストンは、前記テンショナハウジングの前記ボアから排出されるのが防止され、
前記変形状態のサークリップが前記自由状態になるまで、前記中空ピストンが前記ボア内を摺動できるようにした、油圧テンショナ。 - 前記ボアは、入口を通して加圧流体源と流体連通する、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記形成された縁部は、前記ピストンの前記中心線に対して垂直である、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記中空ピストンは、閉鎖端部、及び、開放端部を有し、前記面取り部は、前記中空ピストンの前記外周の周りに周方向に延在する前記開放端部にある、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記サークリップは、鋼線でできている、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記サークリップは、平坦な金属バンドである、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記サークリップの前記本体は、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に、前記第1のローブと、接続部と、第3のローブと、第2の接続部と、前記第2のローブと有する、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
- 前記サークリップの前記本体は、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に、前記第1のローブと、第1の接続部と、第3のローブと、第2の接続部と、第4のローブと、第3の接続部と、前記第2のローブとを有する、請求項1に記載の油圧テンショナ。
