Abstract
Description
チェーン及びベルトテンショナでは、ピストンは、スプリングまたはスプリングと油圧(hydraulic pressure)によってそのハウジングから圧迫される。ハウジングとピストンとの間のボア内に形成された流体チャンバと加圧流体源との間のテンショナにチェックバルブが追加されて、流体チャンバからの油圧流体の逆流を防止する。ピストンとボアとの間の隙間を通る漏洩率は、補充流体が沈下または停止するにつれて、ピストンの後退を可能にする。漏洩率が増加するにつれて、ピストンの後退に対する抵抗が減少し、漏洩率が減少するにつれて、ピストンの後退に対する抵抗が増加する。チェーン荷重が急増するかまたは流体圧力の損失が存在するときに、プランジャの後退が起こり、プランジャの後退が過度な場合、チェーン制御の損失、エンジン時間の損失または他の望ましくない影響が生じる。したがって、ピストンの後退量を制限することが望ましい。
Claims (10)
- 油圧テンショナであって:
長さに延びるボアを有し、前記ボアの前記長さに沿ってスロットを有するテンショナハウジング;
前記ボア内に摺動可能に収容され、形成された縁部に隣接した面取り部(chamfer)を含む外周を有する中空ピストン;及び
前記ピストンの前記外周によって収容された膨張可能なサークリップ(expandable circlip);を含み、前記サークリップは、接続部を介して第1の脚部及び第2の脚部に接続された少なくとも2つのローブ(lobe)を有する実質的にクローバー形状の本体を含み、前記膨張可能なサークリップは、前記サークリップの前記少なくとも2つのローブが前記ピストンの少なくとも前記面取り部と係合される自由状態、及び前記第1の脚部及び前記第2の脚部が互いに離れるように移動され、前記面取り部から分離される膨張状態を有し;
前記膨張可能なサークリップが自由状態にあるとき、前記ピストンは、前記ハウジングの前記ボアから排出されるのが防止される、テンショナ。 - 前記ボアは、入口を通して加圧流体源と流体連通する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記形成された縁部は、前記ピストンの中心線に対して垂直である、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記中空ピストンは、第1の閉鎖端部、及び取り付け面取り部を含む第2の開放端部を有する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、鋼線(steel wire)でできている、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、平坦な金属バンドである、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に少なくとも3つのローブ及び2つの接続部を有する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に少なくとも4つのローブ及び3つの接続部を有する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に少なくとも5つのローブ及び複数の接続部を有する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
- 前記膨張可能なサークリップは、前記第1の脚部と前記第2の脚部との間に2つのローブ及び1つの接続部を有する、請求項1に記載のテンショナ。
