Claims (11)
- 所定圧力のときに開裂する弁と、当該弁に連なる周囲の板部とが一体に成形された金属板からなる電池蓋において、
前記弁が、圧力の作用によって折り溝から屈曲させられる受圧板部と、前記周囲の板部の厚さよりも薄く当該受圧板部と当該周囲の板部とを繋ぐ薄板部とからなり、
前記薄板部が、厚さ方向に溝深さをもって前記折り溝の延長上の部位を通るように刻印された破裂溝を有し、
前記折り溝の延長上の部位が前記受圧板部の周囲の二か所だけにあり、前記受圧板部及び前記薄板部が、前記折り溝の溝幅の中央及び前記二か所の延長上の部位を通りかつ厚さ方向に沿う対称面に関して面対称状に成形されており、
前記弁に作用する圧力によって前記受圧板部が前記折り溝から屈曲させられる変形に伴って当該弁の中で前記延長上の部位が他の部位よりも強く引っ張られることにより、前記所定圧力のときに前記弁が前記破裂溝の前記延長上の部位を起点として開裂させられることを特徴とする電池蓋。 - 前記受圧板部が、前記折り溝と、前記折り溝に連続して前記薄板部から厚さ方向に一方側又は両側に突出している突出部分とを有し、
前記周囲の板部の厚さ方向に一方側の板面と、前記薄板部の厚さ方向に一方側の板面とが、同一面状になっており、
前記受圧板部及び前記薄板部の厚さ方向に一方側と反対の他方側の板面が、前記周囲の板部の厚さ方向に他方側の板面から厚さ方向に一方側へ深さをもった凹状の底面部を成しており、
前記受圧板部の突出部分の厚さ方向に他方側の板面から一方側の板面までの厚さが前記薄板部の厚さよりも大きい請求項1に記載の電池蓋。 - 前記受圧板部の外周が全周に亘って前記薄板部から厚さ方向に一方側又は両側に突出している請求項1又は2に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記薄板部の前記破裂溝と厚さ方向に反対側の板面が、厚さ方向に対して直角な方向に延びる平坦面状に成形されている請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記弁が、前記周囲の板部の外側板面から内側に凹んでいる請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記受圧板部が、前記折り溝と厚さ方向に反対側の部位で厚さ方向に深さをもった凹部を有する請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記金属板の板厚が2.0mm以上5.0mm以下である請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記折り溝の一端又は両端が前記受圧板部の外周部分又は中実部分で閉塞されている請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記折り溝と前記破裂溝が非連続である請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。
- 前記薄板部が、前記破裂溝と前記受圧板部との間に連なる板面と、前記破裂溝と前記周囲の板部との間に連なる板面と、これら両板面及び破裂溝に対して厚さ方向に反対側に位置する板面とを有し、これら3つの板面が、それぞれ厚さ方向に対して直角な方向に延びる平坦面状に成形されており、
前記周囲の板部の厚さ方向に一方側の板面と、前記薄板部の厚さ方向に一方側の板面とが、同一面状になっている請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の電池蓋。 - 前記折り溝の溝底部の厚さである前記受圧板部の最小厚さが、前記薄板部の最大厚さよりも大きい請求項3に記載の電池蓋。
