Description
まず、図1を参照して、本発明の適用対象となる燃料電池スタック(燃料電池)として固体高分子型燃料電池を例にとってその構成を概説する。
次に、図2〜図5を参照して、燃料電池スタックの製造工程、特に、そのうちのアノード側ないしカソード側の触媒層製造工程、並びに、触媒層製造工程で用いられる触媒インクの塗工装置の構成を説明する。
Claims (1)
- 燃料電池用電極を構成する触媒インクをダイヘッドからウェブに対して吐出して塗工する塗工装置であって、
前記ダイヘッドの下流側リップヘッド部の前記ウェブ側に歪検出装置が備えられ、
前記歪検出装置によって検出された剪断応力(τ)と、前記ダイヘッドに対する前記ウェブの搬送速度(δu)と、前記触媒インクの粘性係数(μ)とから、τ=μ・(δu/δy)を用いて、前記ウェブに対する前記触媒インクの塗工厚(δy)を推定し、推定された塗工厚に基づいて前記ダイヘッドの下流側リップヘッド部と前記ウェブとの相対距離を調整する、塗工装置。
