Claims (15)
- 規則的に配列された複数の発光ダイオードを含む発光部;
前記複数の発光ダイオードを駆動させる複数のTFTを含むTFTパネル部;及び
前記発光部から放出された光を変換すると共に、赤色蛍光体層、透明層及び遮断層を含む光変換部を含み、
前記発光部及びTFTパネル部は一面が対向するように相互結合され、前記各発光ダイオードと各TFTが電気的に連結され、
前記赤色蛍光体層及び前記透明層は、前記発光部と当該発光部の上に配置された保護基板との間に配置され、
前記複数の発光ダイオードは一つ以上の第1発光ダイオード及び一つ以上の第2発光ダイオードを含み、
前記一つ以上の第1発光ダイオードから放出された光が前記光変換部で波長変換されて前記光変換部を通じて赤色光が放出され、
前記一つ以上の第2発光ダイオードは前記透明層を通して緑色光を外部に放出し、
前記赤色蛍光体層の上に赤色光部が設けられ、
前記赤色光部の面積は、前記赤色蛍光体層の面積よりも大きく、
前記遮断層は、前記赤色蛍光体層と前記透明層との間に設けられ、
前記赤色蛍光体層、前記透明層及び前記遮断層のそれぞれにおける前記TFTパネル部と向かい合う面は、同一平面を構成する、ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記一つ以上の第1発光ダイオードは、青色光を放出する青色発光ダイオード又は紫外線を放出する紫外線発光ダイオードである、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記一つ以上の第1発光ダイオードは第1サブピクセルに配置され、
前記一つ以上の第2発光ダイオードは第2サブピクセルに配置され、
前記第1サブピクセルの面積は前記第2サブピクセルの面積よりも相対的に大きい、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは第3サブピクセルに配置された一つ以上の第3発光ダイオードをさらに含み、
前記第1サブピクセルの面積は前記第3サブピクセルの面積よりも相対的に大きく、
前記第1サブピクセルは前記第2及び第3サブピクセルが一列に配置された側面に配置された、請求項3に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは一つ以上の第3発光ダイオードをさらに含み、
前記一つ以上の第2発光ダイオードは緑色光を外部に放出する緑色発光ダイオードであり、
前記一つ以上の第3発光ダイオードは青色光を外部に放出する青色発光ダイオードである、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは一つ以上の第3発光ダイオードをさらに含み、
前記一つ以上の第3発光ダイオードは紫外線を放出する紫外線発光ダイオードであり、
前記光変換部は、前記紫外線発光ダイオードから放出された紫外線を波長変換して青色光を外部に放出する青色蛍光体層をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは一つ以上の第4発光ダイオードをさらに含み、
前記一つ以上の第4発光ダイオードは青色光を放出する青色発光ダイオードであり、
前記光変換部は前記第4発光ダイオードから放出された光を波長変換して白色光を外部に放出する白色蛍光体層をさらに含む、請求項5に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記一つ以上の第1〜第4発光ダイオードは、第1〜第4サブピクセルにそれぞれ配置され、
前記第1及び第4サブピクセルの面積は前記第2及び第3サブピクセルの面積よりも相対的に大きい、請求項7に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記第1及び第2サブピクセルは一つの行に配置され、
前記第3及び第4サブピクセルは別の一つの行に配置され、
前記第1及び第4サブピクセルは一つの列に配置された、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記赤色光部は、前記光変換部に含まれ、前記放出される赤色光から赤色光を除いた残りの波長の光を遮断する、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記発光部は、
前記複数の発光ダイオードの上部に配置され、前記複数の発光ダイオードと電気的に連結された透明電極;
前記複数の発光ダイオードの下部に配置され、前記複数の発光ダイオードと電気的に連結された連結電極;及び
前記複数の発光ダイオードの間に配置され、前記透明電極と電気的に連結された遮断部を含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記複数の発光ダイオードは、それぞれ、
n型半導体層;
p型半導体層;及び
前記n型半導体層とp型半導体層間に介在する活性層を含む、請求項11に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記保護基板は、前記赤色蛍光体層の上部に配置される、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記透明層は、前記第2発光ダイオードから放出された光をそのまま放出する、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記赤色光部は、前記赤色蛍光体層と前記保護基板との間に配置され、前記赤色蛍光体層から放出された光の一部の波長の光を遮断する、請求項13に記載のディスプレイ装置。
