Description
Claims (26)
- 患者に挿入するための侵襲性の医用デバイスであって、
針、及び、前記針の近位端に取り付けられた針ハブを含む針部分組立体と、
前記針が内部に挿入される静脈内カテーテル管、及び、磁気機構を含むカテーテルアダプタ部分組立体と、
を備え、
前記針は、直径、外面、遠位先端、および近位端、を有する細長いシャフトを備え、前記細長いシャフトの少なくとも一部が、第1の磁場B1および長さL1を有する第1の磁気領域を有する、侵襲性の医用デバイスと、
前記第1の磁気領域に対して配置された磁力計と、
を備える針の相対位置を決定するためのシステム。 - ガイドワイヤ、カテーテルイントロデューサ、スタイレット、および皮下注射針から選択される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の磁気領域は、不連続部を含み、かつ強磁性金属の層、常磁性金属の層、前記シャフトの前記外面にある刻み目、磁性金属のスポット溶接、フェルール、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトの前記直径は、静脈内カテーテル内に挿入されるような寸法であり、前記第1の磁気領域は、第2の磁場B2および第2の長さL2を有する第2の磁気領域から距離dだけ間隔が空けられており、ここで、L1およびL2は等しくない請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記医用デバイスは、ガイドワイヤ、カテーテルイントロデューサ、スタイレット、および皮下注射針から選択され、また前記第1の磁気領域および前記第2の磁気領域の少なくとも一方は、強磁性金属の層、常磁性金属の層、前記シャフトの前記外面にある刻み目、磁性金属のスポット溶接、フェルール、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される請求項4に記載のシステム。

- 前記データは、前記侵襲性の医用デバイスに関する情報を含み、前記情報は、デバイスの直径、長さ、およびタイプのうちの1つまたは複数を含む請求項13に記載のシステム。
