Description
(実施の形態1)
図2(a)〜図2(d)を用いて、実施の形態1の断熱構造体12を説明する。
図2(a)〜図2(c)は、実施の形態1の断熱部材10aの製法を説明する。図2(d)は、断熱部材10aを熱源110に用いた断熱構造体12である。
(1)原料
シリカエアロゲルを製造する際の出発原料として、水ガラス(珪酸ソーダ水溶液)を用い、調製は水ガラスの珪酸濃度、また、ゲル化時に使用する酸の種類と濃度、ゲル化条件(温度、時間、pH)を調整することで制御できる。
酸については、塩酸、硝酸、硫酸、リン酸、酢酸、クエン酸などを使用することができる。珪酸の加水分解反応の促進および得られるゲルの骨格強度、後に続く疎水化工程も考慮すると、塩酸を使用することが好まし。塩酸の濃度については、1N〜12Nが好ましく、より好ましくは6N〜12Nである。塩酸濃度が低過ぎると、所望のpHに調整する際、より大量の希塩酸を添加する必要があるため、珪酸濃度が減少し、シリカネットワークの構築が効果的に進行しない場合がある。
工程(1)のゾルを繊維シート26に注液し、ゲル化させる。上記シリカゾル溶液Aと上記シリカゾル溶液Bを予め混合させ、繊維シート26へ注液し、十分にゲル化が完了する間、保持する。ゲル化を促進させるために、繊維シートの温度を30〜70℃で加熱する。30℃未満ではゲル化が促進され難く、生産性を損なう場合がある。70℃を超えるとシリカゾル溶液中の水分が揮発し、ゲル化反応の途中で揮発水分が分離して、所望のシリカエアロゲルが得られない場合がある。
線径について、1μm以下になると繊維自体の調達が難しくなり、経済性および生産性が損なわれる場合がある。
繊維の材質については、ガラス繊維を用いているが、これに限定されるものではなく、他に、ポリマー系繊維、炭素繊維、セラミック繊維、金属繊維、植物由来繊維、鉱物由来繊維などを用いても良い。
(2)の後の繊維シート26を、乾燥時にかかる毛管力に耐えうるだけの強度にするために、シリカ粒子の重縮合、および、二次粒子の成長を促す必要がある。ゲル化後、成形体の水分が揮発しない0〜100℃で、好ましくは60〜90℃、で加熱養生し、シリカ粒子の重縮合と二次粒子の成長を促進させる。養生温度が60℃未満であると珪酸に必要な熱が伝わらず、シリカ粒子の成長が促進されず、養生が十分に進行するまでに時間を要する上に、ゲル強度が低く、乾燥時に大きく収縮する場合があり、所望のシリカエアロゲルが得られない場合がある。また、養生温度が90℃を超え100℃に近づくほど、成形体の水分が揮発してゲルと分離する現象がみられ、これにより得られるゲルの体積が減少して、所望のシリカエアロゲルが得られない場合がある。
疎水化工程は、親水性のヒドロゲルを疎水化剤と反応させて、疎水性のゲルとする工程である。この疎水化工程は主に2つのステップに分かれている。
疎水化の第2ステップ(シリル化処理)は、ヒドロゲルの細孔に浸透させた塩酸と疎水化剤の反応により生成した活性種とシリカ表面のシラノールを反応させる工程である。上記塩酸と上記疎水化剤の反応が完了していないと、疎水化処理が完了しないため、一部親水性のエアロゲルとなる。エアロゲルの表面から内部まで疎水化が完了しないと、所望の断熱性能が得られない。
乾燥工程は、前工程で得られた疎水化ゲル中の液体溶媒を揮発させる工程である。乾燥手法は公知の乾燥方法であれば、超臨界乾燥法、および非超臨界乾燥法(常圧乾燥法、凍結乾燥法)のどちらでも良く、特に制限はない。非超臨界乾燥法として常圧乾燥を用いることが、量産性、安全性、経済性の観点から好ましい。ゲルが耐え得る乾燥温度であれば、乾燥時間に制限はないが、急激な加熱では、ヒドロゲル中の溶媒が突沸して、シリカエアロゲル中に大きな亀裂が生じる場合がある。シリカエアロゲルに亀裂が生じると、亀裂の大きさによるが、空気の対流による伝熱を生じさせ、断熱性を損なわせたり、粉状となり取扱性が著しく損なわれたりする場合がある。
上記でできた繊維シート26を小片の断熱体22に砕く。図2(a)から図2(b)へ変化する。繊維シート26をミキサーに入れて砕くことができる。または、弾性体上に繊維シート26を置き、上部から刃で押すことで、小片の断熱体22に分けてもよい。
上記複数の断熱体22を被覆シート21で包む。図2(b)から図2(c)へ変化する。1枚の被覆シート21上に複数の断熱体22を置き、上部から別の被覆シート21を被せ、周囲を溶着する。周囲をテープ、接着剤などで封止してもよい。
(実施の形態2):弾性体
図4は、実施の形態2の断熱部材10bである。記載しない事項は実施の形態1と同様である。
弾性体40の種類は、主に、使用する熱源110の温度に依存です。
90℃までなら、天然ゴム、120℃までなら、クロロプレンアクリロゴム、ニトリルブタジエンゴムでもよい。200〜300℃の場合、シリコンゴム、フッ素ゴムを使用する。
(実施の形態3):導電シート
図5は、実施の形態3の断熱部材10cである。記載しない事項は実施の形態1と同様である。

Claims (3)
- 繊維とエアロゲルとを含む複数の大きさの断熱体を含む弾性体を有する断熱部材。
- 繊維とエアロゲルとを含む複数の大きさの断熱体を封止する被覆シートを有する断熱部材と、
前記断熱部材が配置された熱源と、を有し、
前記複数の断熱体は、曲げられず、前記熱源の複数の外面のそれぞれに平行に配置され、前記熱源のコーナ部に密着し、前記コーナ部を覆う断熱構造体。 - 前記断熱部材を前記熱源へ押し付けるガイド部を有する請求項2記載の断熱構造体。
