Description
噴霧ヘッドAをローラコンベヤ13と平行に置き、水平軸をHMAブロックの水平軸に位置合わせして、接近するHMAブロックの前端部(第1のベース、すなわち上部ベース)に対向させる。ポリマーブロックが噴霧ヘッドAから200mm〜400mmの距離に達したら、噴霧を開始して、所定時間(例えば1秒〜5秒)続けて、第1の/上部ベースの表面を非粘着性のコーティング材料で完全に覆って、噴霧を停止する。
ポリマーブロックは依然として前進運動中であるが、噴霧用ヘッドAを保有する旋回アームを90度回転させて鉛直位置にする。HMAブロックがこの噴霧ヘッドの下に入り、噴霧ヘッドAが再度噴霧を開始し、回転及び前進運動を両方行うHMAブロックの側方領域が覆われる。
ポリマーブロックが、鉛直位置にある噴霧ヘッドAの下から出たら、ブロックの上部、下部及び側面を不粘着性のコーティング材料で覆うためにその後方面(第2のベース)を覆うように、旋回アームが噴霧ヘッドAを更に90度回転させて再度(工程1のものと反対の)水平位置にして、HMAブロックを後方から所定時間(例えば1秒〜5秒)噴霧する。
至るところに噴霧され、依然として前進運動中のHMAブロックは、固定された鉛直型噴霧ヘッドBに達し、そこで、必要であれば第2のコーティング層を側方領域に塗布するように上からのみ再度噴霧してもよい(又は噴霧しなくてもよい)。その間、噴霧ヘッドAを回転させてその元の位置に戻し、次の接近するHMAブロックに対向するように備える。

Claims (18)
- コーティングを有するホットメルト接着剤(HMA)材料を作製する方法であって、該コーティングは50℃まで不粘着特性を有し、前記方法は、低温HMA粒を、円錐台形状を有する凝集したHMA粒のブロックへと成形する成形工程と、液体形態又は溶融形態で存在するコーティング材料を、固体形態で存在する凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの上面、下面及び外側面に少なくとも部分的に塗布する後続の噴霧工程とを含む、方法。
- 前記HMA粒を機械的圧力下で圧縮して、凝集したHMA粒のブロックとする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記成形工程における前記HMA粒の表面温度が0℃〜30℃である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング材料を塗布する工程において、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックの表面温度が−20℃〜40℃の範囲である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを回転させながら、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックの表面を前記コーティング材料で連続的にコーティング処理する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記成形工程後、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックは、一対の回転ローラ上に移行し、
前記コーティング材料を塗布する工程において、前記一対の回転ローラを回転させると、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックが長手方向に移動して、該回転ローラ上を前進運動しながら連続的なコーティングがもたらされる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記コーティング材料を少なくとも1つの旋回噴霧ヘッドを用いて連続的又は断続的に塗布し、該少なくとも1つの噴霧ヘッドが水平位置にある間に、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの上部ベース及び下部ベースの表面上に前記コーティング材料を水平に噴霧する2つの工程と、該少なくとも1つの噴霧ヘッドを回転させて鉛直位置にして、前記ブロックを回転させながら、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの側方領域に前記コーティング材料を鉛直に噴霧する工程とを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング材料を2つの旋回噴霧ヘッドを用いて連続的又は断続的に塗布し、初めに前記ブロックを回転させながら、鉛直位置にある第1の噴霧ヘッドによって、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの側方領域に前記コーティング材料を鉛直に噴霧し、前記第1の噴霧ヘッドを回転させて水平位置にして、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの第2のベースの表面上に前記コーティング材料を水平に噴霧し、水平位置にある第2の噴霧ヘッドによって、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの第1のベースの表面上に水平に噴霧し、第2の噴霧ヘッドを回転させて鉛直位置にして、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの側方領域に鉛直に噴霧する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- コーティングを有するホットメルト接着剤(HMA)材料を作製する装置であって、該コーティングは50℃まで不粘着特性を有し、前記装置は、HMA粒を、凝集したHMA粒の円錐台形状のブロックへと成形する成形手段(1)と、液体形態又は溶融形態で存在するコーティング材料を、固体形態で存在する凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの表面上に少なくとも部分的に塗布する噴霧手段(10)とを備える、装置。
- 前記成形手段(1)が、開いた上部と開いた下部とを有する鋳型(2)と、下部の蓋を形成する可動式ディスク(3)と、可動式圧縮機/抜取機ディスク(4)であって、HMA粒を前記鋳型(2)の上部から圧縮し、この状態で、前記ディスク(3)が前記鋳型(2)の下部を閉じるとともに前記鋳型(2)を満たし、また固体形態で存在する凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを、該圧縮機/抜取機ディスク(4)の圧力により前記鋳型(2)の下部を介して取り出す、可動式圧縮機/抜取機ディスク(4)とを備え、前記鋳型(2)の下部の内径が、前記鋳型(2)の上部の内径よりも大きい、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記可動式ディスク(3)が、丸みのある縁を有する前記鋳型(2)に面する表面に円形の凹部を有し、該凹部の直径が、前記鋳型(2)の下部の内径に対応する、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記丸みのある縁が、前記HMA粒の平均半径と等しい曲率半径(r)を有する、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧手段(10)が、回転させながら前記コーティング材料を、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックの表面に供給するように構成される少なくとも2つの噴霧ユニット(A、B)を備え、該噴霧ユニット(A、B)が、鉛直及び水平に噴霧するノズルを備える、請求項9〜12のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧手段(10)が、少なくとも一対の回転ローラ(11、12、13)であって、該回転ローラに据えられる凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを回転させる、回転ローラ(11、12、13)を備える、請求項9〜13のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧手段(10)が、少なくとも一対の回転ローラ(11、12、13)であって、該回転ローラに据えられる凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを回転させる、回転ローラ(11、12、13)を備え、前記少なくとも一対の回転ローラ(13)が、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを回転させるとともに、凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックが前記噴霧ユニット(A、B)を介して移動するように構成される、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 凝集したHMA粒の前記ブロックを前に押して、前記一対の回転ローラ(13)を回転させる、チェーンコンベヤ上に設けられるプッシャーフィンガーを更に備える、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ユニット(A、B)が、水平位置及び鉛直位置間で少なくとも90度回転可能な旋回噴霧ヘッドを備える少なくとも1つの噴霧ユニットを備え、前記コーティング材料が、前記少なくとも1つの噴霧ヘッドの水平位置で、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックのベースの表面上に水平に噴霧され、前記コーティング材料が、前記少なくとも1つの噴霧ヘッドの鉛直位置で、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックの側方領域に鉛直に噴霧される、請求項13、15、16のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ユニット(A、B)が、水平位置及び鉛直位置間で少なくとも90度回転可能な旋回噴霧ヘッドを備える第1の噴霧ユニット(A)と、水平位置及び鉛直位置間で少なくとも90度回転可能な旋回噴霧ヘッドを備える第2の噴霧ユニット(B)とを備え、前記コーティング材料が、前記噴霧ヘッドの水平位置で、凝集したHMA粒の前記円錐台形状のブロックのベースの表面上に水平に噴霧され、前記コーティング材料が、前記噴霧ヘッドの鉛直位置で、凝集したHMA粒の円錐台形状のブロックの側方領域に鉛直に噴霧される、請求項13、15〜17のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
