Claims (7)
- 中空の電離箱と、
前記電離箱に設けられ、前記電離箱の内部空間と外部空間とを仕切る部材であって、空気の通過を許容し且つ水の進入を制限する選択透過部材と、
を含み、
前記電離箱は前記内部空間を画定する容器を有し、
前記容器はβ線入射窓を有し、
前記β線入射窓は前記内部空間と前記外部空間とを連通させる通気口を有し、
前記選択透過部材は前記通気口を塞ぐように設けられている、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記選択透過部材は前記通気口を塞ぐように設けられている多孔質部材である、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項2記載の装置において、
前記電離箱は前記容器の内面に形成された導電層を有し、
前記多孔質部材の内面の全部又は一部が前記内部空間に露出している、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項2記載の装置において、
当該放射線測定装置はγ線及びβ線を測定可能な装置であり、
前記β線入射窓は、
窓部材及びその内面に形成された導電層を有する通常感度領域と、
前記通気口及び前記多孔質部材を有する高感度領域と、
を有し、
前記通常感度領域におけるβ線減弱作用よりも前記高感度領域におけるβ線減弱作用の方が小さい、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項4記載の装置において、
前記窓部材の中央に前記通気口が形成されている、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項4記載の装置において、
前記β線入射窓の外面には前記高感度領域を識別するための手段が設けられている、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記電離箱に隣接して設けられた構造体と、
前記構造体の内部に配置され、前記電離箱に対して高電圧を供給する電源回路と、
前記構造体の内部に配置され、前記電離箱からの電離電流を観測するエレクトロメータ回路と、
を含み、
前記構造体の内部の全部又は一部が前記電源回路及び前記エレクトロメータ回路を含む気密空間である、
ことを特徴とする放射線測定装置。
