Description

Claims (15)
- 天然ガスハイドレート(NGH)を輸送するための船舶であって、
当該船舶は船体を備え、前記船体は、固体NGHと、前記船体を支持する骨格構造とから一体的に形成されており、
当該船舶は更に、液体及び気体に対する気密性を確保するために前記船体の外部を覆うスキン層としてのシール性のライナーを備えており、前記スキン層としてのシール性のライナーは、固体NGHの再ガス化プロセス時に生成される天然ガスを封入するための覆いとして機能し得るものであることを特徴とする船舶。 - 前記船体は、砂、粘土、木材、麻、および相変化材料からなる群から選択される、NGHに含まれる固体添加物を備えてなる、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記船体は、固体NGHの切片(セクション)から形成されている、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記船体は、
a)固体NGHを通して冷却流体を循環させるのに適した骨格構造から形成されていること、及び、
b)NGHのスラリーおよび/または固体に圧力を及ぼすのに適した骨格構造から形成されていること、
のうちの一つ以上の特徴を備えてなる、請求項1に記載の船舶。 - 前記骨格構造が、固体NGHを備えた複数のコンテナから構成されている、請求項4に記載の船舶。
- 当該船舶が、自走式船舶、または曳航式船舶、または自走式且つ曳航式の船舶である、請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 天然ガスを天然ガスハイドレート(NGH)として輸送及び貯蔵するための船舶を組み立てる方法であって、
型を用意すること、
前記型の中にスキン層を取り付けること、
前記型の中に骨格構造を組み立てること、
NGHスラリーを用意すること、及び、
前記NGHスラリーを前記型内に注ぐこと、
を備えてなる方法。 - 前記方法は、次のa)〜c)、即ち、
a)前記NGHスラリーを凝固させて凍結固体ブロックにすること、
b)前記NGHスラリーを凝固させて船舶の船体の一部分にすること、
c)前記型を水中に沈めること、
のうちの一つ以上を更に備えてなる、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記方法は、前記凝固させたNGHによる天然ガス(NG)の貯蔵を更に備えてなり、このNG貯蔵は、次のa)〜c)、即ち、
a)水面上での貯蔵、
b)水中に沈めての貯蔵、
c)水の外での貯蔵、
のうちの一つ以上を含むものである、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記方法は、前記凝固させたNGHを再ガス化した後に前記骨格構造を解体することを更に備えてなる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 天然ガスハイドレート(NGH)を輸送するための、NGHから形成されたコンテナであって、
固体NGHのブロックと、
前記ブロックを支持する骨格構造と、
液体及び気体に対する気密性を確保するために当該コンテナの外部を覆うバリア層と、を備えており、前記バリア層は、固体NGHの再ガス化プロセス時に生成される天然ガスを封入するための覆いとして機能し得るものであることを特徴とするコンテナ。 - 前記コンテナは、砂、粘土、木材、麻、および相変化材料からなる群から選択される、NGHへの固体添加物を備えてなる、請求項11に記載のコンテナ。
- 前記コンテナは、
a)固体NGHを通して冷却流体を循環させるのに適した骨格構造から形成されていること、及び、
b)NGHのスラリーおよび/または固体に圧力を及ぼすのに適した骨格構造から形成されていること、
のうちの一つ以上の特徴を備えてなる、請求項11に記載のコンテナ。 - 前記コンテナが、
a)船舶で輸送可能である、又は、
b)商用陸上輸送車両で輸送可能である、又は、
c)複数のコンテナが積み上げられた場合に船舶の船体を形成するのに適している、
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のコンテナ。 - 前記骨格構造が固体NGHを通して冷却流体を循環させるのに適している、請求項11に記載のコンテナ。
