Claims (4)
- 主軸に交換可能に装着されたパイプ電極から加工液の噴流を吐出しながらワークに細穴を形成する細穴放電加工機において、
前記パイプ電極に前記加工液を供給する流量可変のポンプと、
前記ポンプと前記パイプ電極との間の配管に設けられ、前記配管内を流れる加工液の流量を検出する流量センサと、
前記主軸に装着される異なる断面サイズを有する複数のパイプ電極の各断面サイズに適した前記噴流の設定流量を記憶する記憶部と、
現在主軸に装着されているパイプ電極の断面サイズに適した前記記憶部に記憶された設定流量を読み出し、加工の進行に伴って前記パイプ電極の長さが変化しても、前記流量センサの検出値が前記設定流量を保持するように、前記ポンプを制御するポンプ制御部と、
を具備することを特徴とした細穴放電加工機。 - 前記流量センサは、第1の測定値間隔を有する第1のセンサと、前記第1の測定値間隔よりも大きい第2の測定値間隔を有する第2のセンサと、を有しており、前記第1のセンサは、所定の閾値未満の設定流量に対して使用され、前記第2のセンサは、前記閾値以上の設定流量に対して使用される、請求項1に記載の細穴放電加工機。
- 前記第1の測定値間隔及び前記第2の測定値間隔は、前記第1のセンサが使用される前記記憶部内の最小の設定流量に対する前記第1の測定値間隔の比率が、前記第2のセンサが使用される前記記憶部内の最少の設定流量に対する前記第2の測定値間隔の比率よりも小さくなるように決定される、請求項2に記載の細穴放電加工機。
- 前記ポンプ制御部は、前記流量センサの検出値が、前記設定流量よりも所定の時間以上に小さいときに、前記パイプ電極が詰まっていると判定する、請求項1に記載の細穴放電加工機。
