Claims (18)
- 高分子ベースの不織ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの末端部を固定する装置であって、
器具に動作可能に接続されて前記器具を振動軸に沿って振動させる変換器を有する超音波溶接アセンブリと、
前記振動軸が前記ロールに対して概して接線方向になるように、前記器具を前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの最も外側の巻き取りに瞬間的に接触するように選択的に動かすように構成された固定具とを備える装置。 - 巻き取り軸の周りにウェブ材料の前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを形成するように構成された巻き取り装置をさらに備え、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールが、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの最も外側の巻き取り上に末端部を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記器具が、前記ウェブ材料に対して高い摩擦係数を有する外面を備え、前記外面が、前記形成されたロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りを把持してその振動運動を引き起こすように構成される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記巻き取り装置、前記超音波溶接アセンブリ、及び前記固定具の動作を監視及び管理して、前記最も外側の巻き取りと少なくとも1つの下にある巻き取り層との間の結合の位置、数、及び強度の選択的な管理を可能にするように構成された制御システムをさらに備える、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記固定具が、前記器具と前記巻き取ったロールとの間の接触圧力を監視するように構成された圧力センサを備え、前記制御システムが、前記器具と前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールとの間に所定の圧力を印加するように前記固定具を管理するようにさらに構成される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記巻き取り装置が、前記ウェブ材料を切断し、それによって前記末端部を作製するように構成された破断装置をさらに備え、前記制御システムが、前記巻き取り装置上の前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロール上の前記末端部の回転の向きを判定し、前記末端部を前記器具に対して所定の位置で向けるように巻き取り装置の動作を管理するように構成された位置センサをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記制御システムが、前記器具の振動パラメータを管理するように構成される、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記固定具が、前記巻き取り軸に対して平行な軸に沿って隔置された複数の超音波溶接アセンブリをさらに備える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの末端を前記ロールの内部で隣接する巻付けに固定する方法であって、
器具に動作可能に接続されて前記器具を振動軸に沿って双方向に振動させる変換器を有する超音波溶接アセンブリを設けるステップと、
前記振動軸が前記ロールに対して接線方向になるように、前記器具を螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの最も外側の巻き取りに瞬間的に接触するように選択的に動かすように構成された固定具を設けるステップと、
前記固定具によって、前記器具を前記ロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りに接線方向に接触するように動かすステップと、
前記変換器によって、前記器具を前記ロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りに接線方向に接触したまま振動させて、下にある巻き取りに対する前記ロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りの運動を引き起こし、それによって前記最も外側の巻き取りを前記ウェブ材料の少なくとも1つの内側に隣接する巻き取り層へ摩擦溶接し、それによって前記ロールがほどけるのを防止するステップとを含む方法。 - 巻き取り軸の周りに高分子ベースの不織ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを形成するように構成された巻き取り装置を設けるステップであって、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールが、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの最も外側の巻き取り上に末端部を有する、巻き取り装置を設けるステップと、
前記巻き取り装置によって、ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを巻き取るステップと、
前記巻き取り装置によって、前記ウェブ材料を破断し、それによって前記ロールの前記最も外側の巻き取り上に末端部を作製するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記高分子ベースのウェブ材料に対して高い摩擦係数を有する外面を前記器具上に設けるステップをさらに含み、前記外面が、前記形成されたロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りを把持してその振動運動を引き起こすように構成される、
請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記巻き取り装置、前記超音波溶接アセンブリ、及び前記固定具の動作を監視及び管理して、前記最も外側の巻き取りと前記少なくとも1つの内側に隣接する巻き取り層との間の溶接の位置、数、及び強度の選択的な管理を可能にするように構成された制御システムを設けるステップと、
前記器具と前記巻き取ったロールとの間の接触圧力を監視するように構成された圧力センサを設けるステップと、
前記器具と前記形成されたロールとの間に所定の圧力を印加するように、前記制御システムによって前記固定具を管理するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記ウェブ材料を切断し、それによって前記末端部を作製するように構成された破断装置を設けるステップと、
前記巻き取り装置上の前記巻き取ったロール上の前記末端部の回転の向きを判定するように構成された位置センサを設けるステップと、
前記制御システムによって、前記末端部を前記器具に対して所定の位置で向け、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの回転を少なくとも瞬間的に停止させるように前記巻き取り装置の動作を管理するステップと、
前記制御システムによって、前記器具を前記ロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りに瞬間的に接触させるように前記固定具を管理するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記巻き取り軸に対して平行な軸に沿って隔置された複数の超音波溶接アセンブリを設けるステップと、
前記制御システムによって、前記複数の器具を前記形成されたロールの前記最も外側の巻き取りに接線方向に瞬間的に接触するように動かすように前記固定具を管理するステップとをさらに含み、各器具が、それぞれの振動軸が前記巻き取り軸に直交するように位置合わせされる、
請求項13に記載の方法。 - ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを形成し、前記ロールがほどけるのを防止するために、前記材料の末端部を前記ロールに固定する方法であって、
不織ウェブ材料を供給部から巻き取り装置に誘導する繰り出し経路を設けるステップと、
巻き取り軸の周りに前記ウェブ材料の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを形成するように前記巻き取り装置を構成するステップであって、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールが、前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールの最も外側の巻き取り上に末端部を有し、前記巻き取り装置が、それぞれの周りに前記螺旋状に巻き取ったロールが形成される少なくとも第1、第2、及び第3の回転可能な巻き取りスピンドルを運搬する回転タレットを有し、前記タレットが、前記スピンドルの1つを少なくとも巻き取り位置、割り出し位置、及び剥ぎ取り位置に同時に位置決めして、前記タレットの回転運動によって前記スピンドルを前記位置間で順次動かすことが可能である、前記巻き取り装置を構成するステップと、
前記ウェブ材料を切断し、それによって前記第1のスピンドル上に形成されたロール上の前記末端部及び先端を作製するように構成された破断装置を設けるステップと、
第2のロールの巻き取りを開始するために前記先端を前記第2のスピンドルに係合するように誘導するように構成されたウェブ・ガイドを設けるステップと、
径方向の向きから前記巻き取ったロールに対して接線方向の向きに超音波変換器を向けることによって、前記巻き取ったロールと瞬間的に相互作用して前記末端部を前記ロールに固定するように動作可能な末端仮止めアセンブリを設けるステップと、
前記タレット、前記巻き取りスピンドル、前記破断装置、及び前記繰り出し経路の動作を監視及び管理するように構成された制御システムを設けるステップと、
前記それぞれのスピンドルが前記割り出し位置にあるときに前記ロールの前記末端部の位置を特定するように構成された末端部検出センサを設けるステップと、
前記巻き取り装置によって、前記巻き取り位置に位置決めされている間に前記第1のスピンドル上にウェブ材料の第1の螺旋状に巻き取ったロールを巻き取るステップと、
所望のロール・サイズが実現されたときを判定するために、前記第1のスピンドルを前記制御システムによって監視するステップと、
タレットの回転によって、前記第1のスピンドルの位置を前記割り出し位置に変え、前記第2のスピンドルの位置を前記巻き取り位置に変えるステップであって、その上で第2のロールを螺旋状に巻き取ることができる、位置を変えるステップと、
前記制御システムによって前記破断装置を作動させるステップであって、前記先端が、前記ウェブ・ガイドによって前記第2のスピンドルへ誘導され、その上で前記第2のロールの巻き取りが開始される、前記破断装置を作動させるステップと、
前記末端部検出センサによって、前記第1のスピンドル上の前記第1のロールの前記末端の回転位置を判定し、前記制御システムによって、前記末端を所望の仮止め位置で静止して位置決めするように前記第1のスピンドルの回転を誘導するステップと、
前記末端部を前記所望の仮止め位置で前記第1のロールに固定するように前記末端仮止めアセンブリを作動させるステップと、
タレットの回転によって、前記第1のスピンドルの位置を前記剥ぎ取り位置へ変え、前記第2のスピンドルの位置を前記割り出し位置へ変え、前記第3のスピンドルの位置を前記巻き取り位置へ変えるステップであって、第3のロールを螺旋状に巻き取ることができる、位置を変えるステップと、
前記第1のロールを前記第1のスピンドルから取り外した後、前記第1のスピンドルを前記巻き取り位置へ動かすステップとを含む方法。 - 前記繰り出し経路内で前記ウェブ材料に長手方向の切れ目を入れて複数のレーンを形成し、それによって各巻き取りスピンドル上に複数の巻き取ったロールを同時に形成することを可能にするステップと、
前記スピンドル割り出し位置に隣接して隔置された複数の末端仮止めアセンブリを設けるステップをさらに含み、末端仮止めアセンブリの数がレーンの数に等しい、
請求項15に記載の方法。 - 前記末端仮止めアセンブリが、器具に動作可能に接続されて、前記ロールに対して接線方向の振動軸に沿って双方向に前記器具を振動させるように構成された変換器を有する超音波溶接アセンブリを備える、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記末端部検出センサが、前記スピンドル及び破断装置に対する位置センサを備え、各位置センサが、前記制御システムに入力を提供するように構成され、アルゴリズムが、前記第1のスピンドル上の末端位置を判定し、前記制御システムが、前記所望の仮止め位置で前記第1の末端を配置するように前記第1のスピンドルの回転を管理する、請求項15に記載の方法。
