Claims (8)
- 3次元オブジェクトプリンタであって、
プラテンと、
前記プラテンに向けて材料を吐出するように構成された複数のエジェクタであって、前
記複数のエジェクタの各エジェクタが異なる材料を吐出するように構成された複数のエジェクタと、
前記複数のエジェクタに動作可能に接続されたコントローラであって、
前記プラテン上に形成される前記オブジェクトの画像データを受信し、
前記オブジェクトの第1の領域に関連する画像データにおける硬度識別子を参照して前記3次元オブジェクトプリンタの前記複数のエジェクタのうちの第1のエジェクタを選択し、前記第1のエジェクタは第1の材料を吐出するように構成され、
前記オブジェクトの第2の領域に関連する画像データにおける色識別子を参照して前記複数のエジェクタのうちの第2のエジェクタを選択し、前記第2のエジェクタは前記第1の材料の硬度とは異なる硬度を有する第2の材料を吐出するように構成され、
前記第1の領域に対応する前記画像データを使用して第1のエジェクタを動作させ、前記第1の材料を前記プラテンに向けて吐出して、前記第1の材料で前記オブジェクトの前記第1の領域の少なくとも一部を形成し、
前記第2の領域に対応する前記画像データを使用して前記第2のエジェクタを動作させ、前記第2の材料を前記プラテンに向けて吐出して、前記第2の材料で前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域の少なくとも一部を形成し、前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域の一部が前記第1の材料で形成された前記第1の領域の一部を覆う前記第2の材料で形成されるように構成されるコントローラと
を備える、3次元オブジェクトプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記硬度識別子の所定の範囲内にある前記第1の材料の硬度に応じて前記第1のエジェクタを選択する
ようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記硬度識別子を参照して前記複数のエジェクタのうちの前記第1のエジェクタと別のエジェクタとを選択するようにさらに構成され、前記別のエジェクタが前記第1の材料の硬度とは異なる硬度を有する別の材料を吐出する
ように構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記硬度識別子よりも小さい前記第1の材料の硬度と、前記硬度識別子よりも大きい前記別の材料の硬度とに応じて、前記第1のエジェクタと前記別のエジェクタとを選択する
ようにさらに構成されている、請求項3に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記第1のエジェクタ及び前記別のエジェクタを動作させ、前記プラテンに向かって、前記第1の材料及び前記別の材料を吐出し、前記オブジェクトの第1の領域の一部を形成し、前記第1の材料と前記別の材料を混合し、前記硬度識別子に応じた硬度で前記オブジェクトの前記第1の領域の一部を形成する、
ようにさらに構成されている、請求項4に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記色識別子を参照して前記複数のエジェクタのうちの前記第2のエジェクタと別のエジェクタとを選択し、前記別のエジェクタは前記第2の材料の色とは異なる色を有する別の材料を吐出し、前記第2の材料および前記別の材料の色は前記色識別子に対応する色と異なる、
ようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記第2のエジェクタと前記別のエジェクタを動作させ、前記プラテンに向かって、前記第2の材料と前記別の材料を吐出し、前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域の一部を形成し、前記第2の材料と前記別の材料を混合して、前記色識別子に対応する色で、前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域の一部を形成する、
ようにさらに構成されている、請求項6に記載のプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、
前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域を覆う前記オブジェクトの別の領域に関連するテクスチャ識別子を参照して、前記複数のエジェクタのうちの前記第1のエジェクタと第3のエジェクタを選択し、前記第1のエジェクタと前記第3のエジェクタの1つが、前記第1の材料と前記第3の材料の1つを吐出し、前記第1の材料と前記第3の材料の1つは透明であり、前記第2の材料のテクスチャと異なるテクスチャを有するように構成され、
前記第1のエジェクタと前記第3のエジェクタを動作させ、前記プラテンに向かって、前記第1の材料と前記第3の材料を吐出し、前記オブジェクトの前記第2の領域の一部の上に別の領域の一部を形成するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
