開始剤としてのLiBF4およびリチウム塩としてのLiPF6が、有機溶媒中のLiBF4の濃度が0.5M、有機溶媒中のLiPF6の濃度が1Mとなるように、有機溶媒EC/DMC(v/v=1:2)中に溶解された。次いで、表1に示される重量および比率にしたがい、以下の式(II−1)を有する反応性添加物が、LiBF4である開始剤およびLiPF6であるリチウム塩を含有する前述の有機溶媒に添加された。混合物が室温で混合され、そして、電解質を形成させるために十分に攪拌された。
次いで、各比較例および実施例における自己消火時間(SET)が試験された。参考文献「J. of Electrochem. Soc. 2002,149, A6225」によれば、SET>20は可燃性(flammable)材料であることを示し、6<SET<20は難燃性(flame-retardant)材料であることを示し、SET<6は耐燃性(flame-resistant)材料であることを示す。各比較例および実施例の試験結果が表2に示されている。
次いで、各比較例および実施例で作製された電解質の導電性が試験された。結果が表3に示されている。
電池を組み立てるために、厚さ80μmのリチウムチタン酸化物(Li4Ti5O12;LTO)が負極として用いられ、および、厚さ65μmのリチウムニッケルマンガン酸化物(LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4;LNMO)が正極として用いられた。比較例1および実施例4の混合電解質がそれぞれ、組み立てられた電池に注入された。次いで、室温で約12時間静置され、電池の作製が完了した。
上記で作製された電池(電池容量250mAh)の充放電レートの試験が室温で行われた。図1は、電解質として比較例1で作製された液体電解質を用いる電池の充放電レート試験の結果を示している。図2は、電解質として実施例4で作製された疑似固体電解質を用いる電池の充放電レート試験の結果を示している。
上記で作製された電池のサイクル寿命の試験が室温で行なわれた。図3は、電解質として比較例1で作製された液体電解質を用いる電池、および、電解質として実施例4で作製された疑似固体電解質を用いる電池のサイクル寿命試験の結果を示している。
有機−無機疑似固体電解質の作製
比較例2では、固体電解質として、無機セラミック材料であるLi1.6Al0.6Ge1.4(PO4)3(LAGP)が用いられた。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つのアミド基と少なくとも1つのエポキシ基とを含む反応性添加物および開始剤の重合生成物であるポリマー、
リチウム塩、ならびに
有機溶媒
を含む電解質であって、
前記反応性添加物が、以下の式(I)によって表される構造を有するか、または以下の式(II)によって表される構造を含む電解質。
- 前記開始剤が、求核基が生じるように解離し得るイオン化合物、フリーラジカルを生成することのできる過酸化物もしくはアゾ化合物、または第1級アミン化合物を含む、請求項1または2に記載の電解質。
- 前記イオン化合物が、CH3COOLi、LiOH、LiBF4、LiPF6、LiClO4、LiTFSI、LiFSI、LiAsF6またはLiSbF6を含む、請求項3に記載の電解質。
- 前記過酸化物が、過酸化ジベンゾイル(BPO)を含み、前記アゾ化合物がアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)を含む、請求項3に記載の電解質。
- 前記リチウム塩が、LiBF4、LiPF6、LiClO4、LiTFSI、LiAsF6、LiSbF6またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電解質。
- 前記有機溶媒が、カーボネート、スルホネート、ニトリル、エーテル、エステルまたはフルオリドを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電解質。
- 無機電解質をさらに含み、前記無機電解質には、リチウムランタンジルコニウム酸化物(lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide、LLZO)、タンタルドープリチウムランタンジルコニウム酸化物(tantalum doping lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide、LLZTO)、リチウムランタンチタン酸化物(lithium lanthanum titanium oxide、LLTO)、リン酸リチウムアルミニウムチタン(lithium aluminum titanium phosphate、LATP)、リン酸ゲルマニウムアルミニウムチタン(germanium aluminum titanium phosphate、LAGP)、リチウムゲルマニウムリン硫化物(lithium germanium phosphorous sulfide、LGPS)またはリチウムスズリン硫化物(lithium tin phosphorous sulfide、LSPS)が含まれる、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の電解質。
- 前記電解質の総重量に対し、前記反応性添加物の重量パーセントが5wt%〜50wt%である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の電解質。
- 前記電解質がコロイド状態である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の電解質。
- 正極、
負極、および
前記正極と前記負極との間に配置され、および、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の電解質を含むイオン導電層、
を含むリチウム電池。 - 前記正極の材料が、リチウムニッケルマンガン酸化物(LiNiaMn2-aO4、0<a<2)、リチウムニッケルマンガンコバルト酸化物(LiNinMnmCo1-n-mO2、0<n<1、0<m<1、n+m<1)、マンガン酸リチウム(LiMn2O4)、リン酸鉄リチウム(LiFePO4)、リチウムマンガン酸化物(LiMnO2)、リチウムコバルト酸化物(LiCoO2)、リチウムニッケルコバルト酸化物(LiNipCo1-pO2、0<p<1)またはリチウムニッケルマンガン酸化物(LiNiqMn2-qO4、0<q<2)を含む、請求項11に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記負極の材料が、グラファイト、リチウムチタン酸化物(Li4Ti5O12)またはリチウムを含む、請求項11または12に記載のリチウム電池。
- セパレータをさらに含む請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載のリチウム電池。
