Claims (2)
- ICチップと、
前記ICチップへ電力を供給する二次電池と、
前記ICチップおよび前記二次電池を収容した矩形平板状のカード本体と、
前記カード本体の表面および裏面の何れか一方に配置された正極端子、および、他方に配置された負極端子を含み、前記二次電池を充電するための充電端子と、
を備え、
前記ICカードの前記表面および前記裏面を検出するための表裏検出用端子が、前記カード本体の前記表面および前記裏面の何れかに設けられ、
前記正極端子と前記表裏検出用端子と前記負極端子とが、矩形平板状の前記カード本体の幅方向に沿って配列されているとともに、前記幅方向に互いに離隔して配置され、
前記表裏検出用端子が、前記幅方向において、前記正極端子と前記負極端子との間に配置されていることを特徴とする、ICカード。 - ICカードに内蔵された二次電池を充電するためのICカード充電用コネクタであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに保持された正極用コンタクトおよび負極用コンタクトを含む充電用コンタクトユニットと、
を備え、
前記正極用コンタクトおよび前記負極用コンタクトは、前記ICカードに形成され前記二次電池を充電するための正極端子および負極端子と接触可能に配置され、
前記ハウジングは、前記ICカードを挿入するためのスロットを含み、
前記充電用コンタクトユニットとして、
前記スロットに前記ICカードが表向きに挿入されたときの前記正極端子および前記負極端子と接触するための第1充電用コンタクトユニットと、
前記スロットに前記ICカードが裏向きに挿入されたときの前記正極端子および前記負極端子と接触するための第2充電用コンタクトユニットと、
が設けられ、
前記第1充電用コンタクトユニットは、前記正極用コンタクトとして設けられる第1正極用コンタクト、及び前記負極用コンタクトとして設けられる第1負極用コンタクトを含むとともに、前記ICカードの表裏の向きを検出するための第1向き検出部をさらに含み、
前記第2充電用コンタクトユニットは、前記正極用コンタクトとして設けられる第2正極用コンタクト、及び前記負極用コンタクトとして設けられる第2負極用コンタクトを含むとともに、前記ICカードの表裏の向きを検出するための第2向き検出部をさらに含み、
前記第1充電用コンタクトユニットと、前記第2充電用コンタクトユニットとは、前記スロットへの前記ICカードの挿入方向に沿って見たときに、点対称に配置され、
前記第1向き検出部は、前記第1正極用コンタクトおよび前記第1負極用コンタクトと所定の並び方向に並ぶとともに、前記第1正極用コンタクトと前記第1負極用コンタクトとの間に配置され、
前記第2向き検出部は、前記第2正極用コンタクトおよび前記第2負極用コンタクトと前記並び方向に並ぶとともに、前記第2正極用コンタクトと前記第2負極用コンタクトとの間に配置され、
前記並び方向に関して、前記第1向き検出部から前記第1正極用コンタクトまでの距離と、前記第1向き検出部から前記第1負極用コンタクトまでの距離とが異なっているとともに、前記第2向き検出部から前記第2正極用コンタクトまでの距離と、前記第2向き検出部から前記第2負極用コンタクトまでの距離とが異なっていることを特徴とする、ICカード充電用コネクタ。
