Description
1.熱膨張性を有する被覆材の製造方法であって、
該被覆材は、結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の粒子が、水性媒体に分散したものであり、
上記結合剤が、溶剤可溶型、溶剤分散型から選ばれる有機質結合剤であり、
上記耐熱性付与剤として、難燃剤及び/または発泡剤を含み、
分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物を加えることを特徴とする被覆材の製造方法。
2.熱膨張性を有する被覆材の製造方法であって、
該被覆材は、結合剤、少なくとも難燃剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の第1粒子、並びに、結合剤、少なくとも発泡剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の第2粒子が、水性媒体に分散したものであり、
上記結合剤が、溶剤可溶型、溶剤分散型から選ばれる有機質結合剤であり、
分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、少なくとも難燃剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物1、並びに、結合剤、少なくとも発泡剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物2を加えることを特徴とする被覆材の製造方法。
3.上記水性媒体が、炭化剤を含むことを特徴とする1.または2.に記載の被覆材の製造方法。
4.上記水性媒体が、発泡剤を含むことを特徴とする1.から3.のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
5.上記分散安定剤が、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリエチレンオキサイド、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、カゼイン、セルロースアセテートフタレイト、ベントナイト、ポリメタクリル酸、ゼラチン、アルギン酸ナトリウム、アラビアゴム、ゼラチン、ペクチン、キサンタンガム、澱粉、白土、タルク、珪藻土から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする1.から4.のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
6.上記分散安定剤が、ポリビニルアルコールであることを特徴とする1.から4.のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
7.分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物を加えた後、
架橋剤を混合することを特徴とする1.から6.のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法
8.上記架橋剤が、イソシアネート化合物、エポキシ化合物、アミン化合物、錫化合物、リン酸化合物、ホウ酸化合物、アルコキシシラン化合物、有機チタネート化合物、アルミニウムキレート化合物、アルミニウムアルコキシド化合物から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする7.に記載の被覆材の製造方法。
結合剤(A)、耐熱性付与剤(B)、充填剤(C)、及び溶剤(D)を含む液状またはゲル状粒子が、水性媒体に分散しており、上記耐熱性付与剤(B)として、難燃剤(B1)及び/または発泡剤(B2)を含むことを特徴とする。
・結合剤:溶剤可溶形アクリル樹脂(固形分50重量%、ミネラルスピリット溶液)
・難燃剤:ポリリン酸アンモニウム
・発泡剤:メラミン
・炭化剤:ジペンタエリスリトール
・充填剤:酸化チタン
・溶剤:ミネラルスピリット
・水性媒体:カチオン性ポリビニルアルコール3重量%水溶液
(熱膨張性組成物1)
結合剤200重量部(固形分100重量部)に、難燃剤380重量部、発泡剤75重量部、充填剤90重量部、炭化剤90重量部、溶剤100重量部を加えて均一に混合し、熱膨張性組成物1を製造した。
結合剤200重量部(固形分100重量部)に、難燃剤380重量部、発泡剤75重量部、充填剤90重量部、溶剤80重量部を加えて均一に混合し、熱膨張性組成物2を製造した。
結合剤200重量部(固形分100重量部)に、難燃剤380重量部、充填剤90重量部、炭化剤90重量部、溶剤80重量部を加えて均一に混合し、熱膨張性組成物3を製造した。
結合剤200重量部(固形分100重量部)に対し、発泡剤75重量部、充填剤90重量部、炭化剤90重量部を加えて均一に混合し、熱膨張性組成物4を製造した。
(被覆材1)
水性媒体を攪拌しながら、熱膨張性組成物1を分散させた後に、架橋剤(有機チタネート化合物)を混合することにより、熱膨張性組成物1の液状粒子が水性媒体に分散してなる被覆材1を製造した。
熱膨張性組成物1を熱膨張性組成物2に代えた以外は、被覆材1と同様にして被覆材を製造し、この被覆材に炭化剤を混合(被覆材1の結合剤100重量部に対し90重量部の比率)することにより、熱膨張性組成物2の液状粒子が、炭化剤を含む水性媒体に分散してなる被覆材2を得た。
熱膨張性組成物1を熱膨張性組成物3に代えた以外は、被覆材1と同様にして被覆材3−1を製造した。次に、熱膨張性組成物1を熱膨張性組成物4に代えた以外は、被覆材1と同様にして被覆材3−2を製造した。以上の方法で得られた被覆材3−1と被覆材3−2を等量で混合することにより、熱膨張性組成物3の液状粒子と、熱膨張性組成物4の液状粒子とが水性媒体に分散してなる被覆材3を得た。
(試験例1)
鋼板(厚み8mm)に対し、乾燥厚みが2mmとなるように各被覆材を塗付け、試験体を作製した。得られた試験体の裏面に熱電対を設置し、試験体の表面側からヒーターにて加熱したときの鋼板裏面温度を測定した。その結果、被覆材1〜3は、いずれも裏面温度が低く抑えられ、良好な耐熱保護性を示した。
50℃で7日間貯蔵後の各被覆材について、上記試験例1と同様の試験を行った。その結果、被覆材1に比べ、被覆材2、被覆材3のほうが裏面温度が低く、良好な耐熱保護性を示した。
Claims (8)
- 熱膨張性を有する被覆材の製造方法であって、
該被覆材は、結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の粒子が、水性媒体に分散したものであり、
上記結合剤が、溶剤可溶型、溶剤分散型から選ばれる有機質結合剤であり、
上記耐熱性付与剤として、難燃剤及び/または発泡剤を含み、
分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物を加えることを特徴とする被覆材の製造方法。 - 熱膨張性を有する被覆材の製造方法であって、
該被覆材は、結合剤、少なくとも難燃剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の第1粒子、並びに、結合剤、少なくとも発泡剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を含む液状またはゲル状の第2粒子が、水性媒体に分散したものであり、
上記結合剤が、溶剤可溶型、溶剤分散型から選ばれる有機質結合剤であり、
分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、少なくとも難燃剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物1、並びに、結合剤、少なくとも発泡剤を含む耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物2を加えることを特徴とする被覆材の製造方法。 - 上記水性媒体が、炭化剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の被覆材の製造方法。
- 上記水性媒体が、発泡剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
- 上記分散安定剤が、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリエチレンオキサイド、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、カゼイン、セルロースアセテートフタレイト、ベントナイト、ポリメタクリル酸、ゼラチン、アルギン酸ナトリウム、アラビアゴム、ゼラチン、ペクチン、キサンタンガム、澱粉、白土、タルク、珪藻土から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
- 上記分散安定剤が、ポリビニルアルコールであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法。
- 分散安定剤を含む水性媒体に、
結合剤、耐熱性付与剤、充填剤、及び溶剤を混合して製造した熱膨張性組成物を加えた後、
架橋剤を混合することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の被覆材の製造方法 - 上記架橋剤が、イソシアネート化合物、エポキシ化合物、アミン化合物、錫化合物、リン酸化合物、ホウ酸化合物、アルコキシシラン化合物、有機チタネート化合物、アルミニウムキレート化合物、アルミニウムアルコキシド化合物から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の被覆材の製造方法。
