Description
(A)一分子中に少なくとも2個のアルケニル基を有し、25℃における粘度が100〜1,000,000mPa・sであるオルガノポリシロキサン 100質量部、
(B)平均単位式:
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、脂肪族不飽和結合を含まない非置換もしくはハロゲン置換の一価炭化水素基または水素原子であり、但し、一分子中の少なくとも2個のR1は水素原子であり、R2は脂肪族不飽和結合を含まない非置換もしくはハロゲン置換の一価炭化水素基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、0≦a<1、0≦b<1、0≦c<1、0≦d<1、a+b+c+d=1を満たす0または正数であり、但し、aとbが共に0となることはなく、cとdが共に0となることはない。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン{(A)成分中のアルケニル基1モルに対して、本成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子の量が1〜5モルとなる量}、
(C)ヒドロシリル化反応触媒(本組成物の硬化を促進する量)、
(D)補強性シリカ微粉末 1〜50質量部、
(E)有機チタン化合物および/または有機ジルコニウム化合物 0.01〜5質量部、および
(F)エポキシ基を含有するアルコキシシランおよび/またはメタクリル基もしくはアクリル基を含有するアルコキシシラン 0.05〜10質量部
から少なくともなるシリコーンゴム組成物である。
(A)成分は本組成物の主剤であり、一分子中に少なくとも2個のアルケニル基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンである。(A)成分中のアルケニル基としては、ビニル基、アリル基、ブテニル基、ペンテニル基、ヘキセニル基、ヘプテニル基が例示され、好ましくは、ビニル基である。また、(A)成分中のアルケニル基以外のケイ素原子に結合する基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基等のアルキル基;フェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基等のアリール基;ベンジル基、フェネチル基等のアラルキル基;3−クロロプロピル基、3,3,3−トリフルオロプロピル基等のハロゲン化アルキル基が例示され、好ましくは、メチル基、フェニル基である。また、本発明の目的を損なわない範囲で、(A)成分中のケイ素原子に、少量の水酸基、あるいはメトキシ基、エトキシ基等のアルコキシ基を結合してもよい。
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンである。
(R1 3SiO1/2)a’(SiO4/2)d’
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン、および、平均単位式:

で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンが例示される。
(R1 3SiO1/2)a’(SiO4/2)d’
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンにおいて、式中、a’およびd’は、それぞれ、0<a’<1、0<d’<1、a’+d’=1を満たす正数である。目開きの抑制効果が著しく優れることから、a’およびd’は、1.5≦a’/d’≦4、あるいは2≦a’/d’≦4を満たす正数であることが好ましい。
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c’
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンにおいて、式中、a、b、およびc’は、それぞれ、0≦a<1、0≦b<1、0<c’<1、a+b+c’=1を満たす0または正数である。目開きの抑制効果が著しく優れることから、aおよびc’は、1≦a/c’≦3、あるいは1.5≦a/c’≦3を満たす数であることが好ましい。
本発明のシリコーンゴム被覆織物は、織物の表面に前記の織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を塗工し、該組成物を硬化してなるものである。本被覆織物における織物としては、ナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン46等のポリアミド繊維織物;ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリトリメチレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル繊維織物;その他、ポリアクリル繊維織物、ポリアクリロニトリル繊維織物、アラミド繊維織物、ポリエーテルイミド繊維織物、ポリサルフォン系繊維織物、炭素繊維織物、レーヨン繊維織物、ポリプロピレン繊維織物、ポリエチレン繊維織物あるいはこれらの繊維からなる不織物が例示される。特に、エアバッグの基布として、耐熱性や機械的特性が優れることから、ポリアミド繊維織物またはポリエステル繊維織物であることが好ましい。
オルガノポリシロキサンおよび織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物の25℃における粘度(mPa・s)を、JIS K7117−1に準拠したB型粘度計によって測定し、その動粘度(mm2/s)を、JIS Z8803に準拠したウベローデ型粘度計によって測定した。
織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を20MPaの圧力下、150℃で5分間プレス加硫して、厚さ2mmのシリコーンゴムシートを作製した。このシリコーンゴムシートの硬さをJIS K 6253に規定のタイプAデュロメータにより測定した。また、シリコーンゴムの引張強さおよび伸びをJIS K 6251に規定の方法により測定した。
ポリエチレンテレフタレート製カーテンシールドエアバッグ用袋織り織物から、袋部と閉部を境界を挟んで袋部側100mm、閉部側70mm、幅70mmの長方形に切り出し、片面にベーカー式アプリケーターを用いて織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を塗布量60〜100g/m2となるように塗工した。次いで、200℃のオーブンで90秒間加熱することにより、シリコーンゴム組成物を硬化させた。同様に、もう片方の面にも織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を塗工してシリコーンゴム被覆織物を作製した。
上記のように作製したシリコーンゴム被覆織物から、幅50mm、袋部の長さが80mm、閉部の長さが50mmの長方形の試験体を切り出した。この試験体を開き両端を引っ張り試験機に備えた間隙を100mmとした二つのエアーチャックで張るようにして掴み、200mm/分の速度で引張り、その際の最大の引張り強さを測定した。
上記のように作製したシリコーンゴム被覆織物から、幅50mm、袋部の長さが80mm、閉部の長さが50mmの長方形の試験体を切り出した。この試験体を開き両端を引っ張り試験機に備えた間隙を100mmとした二つのエアーチャックで張るようにして掴み、200mm/分の速度で引張り、200N/cmにおける目開きの程度を、同条件で測定したシリコーンゴムを被覆していないノンコート織物の目開きとの差(mm)で示した。
ロスミキサーに、粘度40,000mPa・sの分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルポリシロキサン(ビニル基の含有量=約0.09質量%) 100質量部、BET比表面積225m2/gのフュームドシリカ 40質量部、ヘキサメチルジシラザン 7質量部、水 2質量部、および粘度20mPa・sの分子鎖両末端ジメチルヒドロキシシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン共重合体(ビニル基の含有量=約10.9質量%) 0.2質量部を投入し、室温で均一になるまで混合した。その後、減圧下、200℃で2時間加熱処理して、流動性のあるシリカマスターバッチを調製した。
表1に示した組成となるよう下記の成分を均一に混合して織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を調製した。得られた織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物およびシリコーンゴム被覆織物の特性を表1に示した。なお、表1中の[SiH/Vi]は、(A)成分中のアルケニル基1モルに対する(B)成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子のモル数である。
(a−1):粘度40,000mPa・sの分子鎖両末端ジメチルビニルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルポリシロキサン(ビニル基の含有量=約0.09質量%)
(b−1):動粘度18mm2/sで、平均単位式:
(HMe2SiO1/2)0.67(SiO4/2)0.33
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン(ケイ素原子結合水素原子の含有量=約0.97質量%)
(b−2):動粘度15mm2/sで、平均単位式:
(Me3SiO1/2)0.09(Me2SiO2/2)0.32(HMeSiO2/2)0.54(MeSiO3/2)0.05
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン(ケイ素原子結合水素原子の含有量=約0.83質量%)
(b−3):動粘度5.5mm2/sの分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルハイドロジェンシロキサン共重合体(ケイ素原子結合水素原子の含有量=約0.73質量%)
(b−4):動粘度50mm2/sの分子鎖両末端トリメチルシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルハイドロジェンシロキサン共重合体(ケイ素原子結合水素原子の含有量=約0.30質量%)
(c−1):白金の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体の1,3−ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン溶液(白金金属の含有量=約4000ppm)
(d−1):調製例1で調製したシリカマスターバッチ
(e−1):ジルコニウムテトラアセチルアセトネート(松本製薬工業株式会社の商品名:オルガチックスZC−150)
(f−1):3−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン
(g−1):シラノール基含有オルガノシロキサンオリゴマー:粘度20mPa・sの分子鎖両末端ジメチルヒドロキシシロキシ基封鎖ジメチルシロキサン・メチルビニルシロキサン共重合体(ビニル基の含有量=約10.9質量%)
硬化遅延剤:1−エチルシクロヘキサン−1−オール
シロキサンオリゴマー:粘度3.5mm2/sの環状メチルビニルポリシロキサン(ビニル基の含有量=約30.7質量%)
Claims (6)
- (A)一分子中に少なくとも2個のアルケニル基を有し、25℃における粘度が100〜1,000,000mPa・sであるオルガノポリシロキサン 100質量部、
(B)平均単位式:
(R1 3SiO1/2)a(R1 2SiO2/2)b(R2SiO3/2)c(SiO4/2)d
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、脂肪族不飽和結合を含まない非置換もしくはハロゲン置換の一価炭化水素基または水素原子であり、但し、一分子中の少なくとも2個のR1は水素原子であり、R2は脂肪族不飽和結合を含まない非置換もしくはハロゲン置換の一価炭化水素基であり、a、b、c、およびdは、0≦a<1、0≦b<1、0≦c<1、0≦d<1、a+b+c+d=1を満たす0または正数であり、但し、aとbが共に0となることはなく、cとdが共に0となることはない。)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン{(A)成分中のアルケニル基1モルに対して、本成分中のケイ素原子結合水素原子の量が1〜5モルとなる量}、
(C)ヒドロシリル化反応触媒(本組成物の硬化を促進する量)、
(D)補強性シリカ微粉末 1〜50質量部、
(E)有機チタン化合物および/または有機ジルコニウム化合物 0.01〜5質量部、および
(F)エポキシ基を含有するアルコキシシランおよび/またはメタクリル基もしくはアクリル基を含有するアルコキシシラン 0.05〜10質量部
から少なくともなる織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物。 - さらに(G)シラノール基含有オルガノシロキサンオリゴマーを、(A)成分100質量部に対して0.01〜5質量部含む、請求項1に記載の織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物。
- 織物の表面に請求項1または2に記載の織物被覆用シリコーンゴム組成物を塗工し、該組成物を硬化してなるシリコーンゴム被覆織物。
- 織物が袋織り織物である、請求項3に記載のシリコーンゴム被覆織物。
- 織物がエアバッグ用の基布である、請求項3に記載のシリコーンゴム被覆織物。
- 織物がカーテンシールドエアバッグ用の基布である、請求項3に記載のシリコーンゴム被覆織物。
