Claims (13)
- 組織部位で組織を穿刺するための医療デバイスであって、
近位セクション、遠位セクション、および近位と遠位セクションとの間のレールセクションを有するワイヤと、
前記ワイヤを収容する第1の中空孔を備える第1の筒状部材と、
前記ワイヤを収容した前記第1の筒状部材を収容する第2の中空孔を備える第2の筒状部材と、
を含み、
前記ワイヤは、前記遠位セクションの遠位端に、前記組織を通して穿刺部を作製するためのエネルギーを送達するために動作する能動先端を備え、
前記ワイヤの前記レールセクションは、前記レールセクション上の前記第1および第2の筒状部材の装着を支持するためのレールとして働くとともに、前記組織部位へのアクセスを可能にするために操縦されるように構成され、
前記第1の筒状部材は、その遠位端にテーパを備えるとともに、前記組織部位へのアクセスを可能にするために操縦されるように構成され、
前記第2の筒状部材は、前記組織部位へのアクセスを可能にするために前記ワイヤおよび前記第1の筒状部材を操縦するように構成され、
前記遠位セクションは、前記遠位セクションが前記第1の筒状部材の遠位先端を越えてかつ前記穿刺部を通して前進させられた際に前記遠位セクションを定着するために、遠位コイルを展開された状態に自動的に形成するように構成された遠位セクション湾曲部分を画成し、
前記遠位セクションは、前記遠位セクション湾曲部分の遠位に位置する遠位セクション直線状部分であって、前記遠位セクション直線状部分の遠位端に前記能動先端を有する、遠位セクション直線状部分を画成し、
前記遠位セクション直線状部分におけるワイヤの外径は、前記遠位セクション湾曲部分の遠位端に隣接する最小直径部分を有し、前記最小直径部分の遠位側から前記能動先端まで一定の最大直径部分を有し、前記最小直径部分から前記最大直径部分へ遠位に広がる逆テーパを有する、
医療デバイス。 - 前記レールセクションは、前記組織部位へのアクセスを可能にするために少なくとも180°曲がるように動作する、請求項1記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記レールセクションの剛さは、前記レールセクションが少なくとも180°曲げ可能であり、前記レールセクション上の1つ以上の筒状部材の装着を支持するためのレールとして機能するのを可能にするために、約150N/m〜約600N/mの間である、請求項2記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記コイルは、前進軸に沿って、閉じ込められた状態から展開された際に、前記能動先端が前記前進軸から離れる方向に湾曲するように構成される、請求項1記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記遠位コイルは、前記能動先端が前記遠位コイルの電気的に絶縁された部分から所定の距離だけ離れて配置されるように構成される、請求項4記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記遠位セクション湾曲部分での前記ワイヤの剛さは、前記遠位セクション湾曲部分が筒状部材の形状に適合するのを可能にするために、約550N/m未満である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記遠位セクション湾曲部分の遠位の遠位セクション直線状部分での前記ワイヤの直径は、前記遠位セクション湾曲部分での前記ワイヤの遠位端の直径よりも大きい、請求項1記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記近位セクションは、前記医療デバイスの取扱いの改良ために近位コイルを形成するように構成された近位セクション湾曲部分を画成する、請求項1記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記近位コイルおよび遠位コイルは、同一平面上にあり、それにより、配置を助けるために患者の体外の近位コイルの向きを用いて、遠位コイルの向きを確認できる、請求項8記載の医療デバイス。
