前記イントロデューサ及び前記細長い穿刺デバイスが、前記細長い穿刺デバイスが内部を通って挿入されている間に、前記イントロデューサが流体を送達及び引き抜く能力を有するように構成され、前記イントロデューサの先端の内径と前記細長い穿刺デバイスの外径との間に半径方向間隙があり、前記イントロデューサの先端の前記内径が、0.978mm(.0385インチ)+/-0.013mm(.0005インチ)であり、前記細長い穿刺デバイスの最大外径が0.889mm(.0350インチ)+/-0.013mm(.0005インチ)であり、それによって、この幾何学的形状の最小半径方向間隙が0.032mm(.00125インチ)である、付記1に記載のキット。

前記イントロデューサに対して前記細長い穿刺デバイスを位置決めするためのマーカーを更に含み、前記細長い穿刺デバイスが、肉眼で可視である近位マーカーと、撮像システムの下で可視である遠位先端マーカーとを有し、前記イントロデューサが、前記撮像システムの下で可視である遠位端マーカーを有し、前記遠位先端マーカー及び遠位端マーカーが、蛍光透視下で可視である、付記1又は2に記載のキット。

前記細長い穿刺デバイスの前記近位マーカーが、前記イントロデューサのハブの近位端に位置決めされるときに、前記細長い穿刺デバイスの先端が、前記イントロデューサシャフトのシャフトの遠位に延在し、又は、前記細長い穿刺デバイスの先端が、前記イントロデューサシャフトのシャフトの遠位端と一直線上にある、付記5に記載のキット。

前記細長い穿刺デバイスが、高周波ガイドワイヤを含む、付記1又は2に記載のキット。
Claims (8)
- 細長い穿刺デバイスであって、導電性で、かつ透明な絶縁層によって被覆された酸化物コーティングによって包囲されたマンドレルを含み、前記マンドレルの遠位端が電気的に露出して遠位先端電極を規定するように、前記透明な絶縁層が前記マンドレルの前記遠位端のショートを止め、前記マンドレルの部分が可視マーカーを規定するように酸化物コーティングを含んでおらず、前記可視マーカーが前記透明な絶縁層によって被覆されており、前記可視マーカーにある及び前記可視マーカーに隣接する前記細長い穿刺デバイスの前記部分が、一定の外径を有する、細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記透明な絶縁層が、熱収縮層を含み、前記熱収縮層が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン材料を含む、請求項1に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記マンドレルが、ニチノールで構成され、前記酸化物コーティングが、二酸化チタンの層で構成される、請求項1に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記細長い穿刺デバイスが、可撓性である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記マンドレルが、導電性であり、前記マンドレルの近位端部分が絶縁されておらず、前記遠位先端電極が電源と電気通信するように前記電源に接続するように動作可能であり、エネルギーが前記遠位先端電極を通して組織に送達されることができ、前記遠位先端電極が心外膜EGMを記録することを可能にする、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記細長い穿刺デバイスのシャフトが、任意の収集された局所EGMからのノイズを低減するように電気的に絶縁されている、請求項5に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- Jプロファイルを有する遠位端部分と、前記遠位端部分の曲線の周りに延在する放射線不透過性コイルと、を更に含み、前記放射線不透過性コイルの端部が、遠位先端マーカーとして使用されることができ、前記放射線不透過性コイルが、ガイドワイヤ先端の可視化を可能にするために超音波を使用するときにエコー源性特性を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
- 前記細長い穿刺デバイスが、高周波ガイドワイヤを含む、請求項1に記載の細長い穿刺デバイス。
